A stupid man. Bad behavior like his should not be imitated by anyone who is involved in gambling. Why stupid? First, because he cannot understand properly what gambling really is. Well your brother was very irresponsible and showed a high level of it. I don't know what he was think to that extent that he would gamble with his whole salary in one night. Your headline is a bit misleading, are you assuming your brother-in-law has passed away? I would sure hope not.

Just because your brother in law was reckless with his money, doesn't mean that anyone else who's gambling will be to. It's one of those things that can carry negative consequences, but that doesn't mean it's going to.  Just because one person dies form taking some experimental medicine, that doesn't necessarily mean everyone who takes it is going to suffer the same consequences.

The biggest reason behind this person giving complete money loss is Addiction in gambling. How can someone who has family responsibilities tried to spend all his money in gambling?

Gambling is not so dangerous as we can limit ourself in gambling. Limitation in gambling is really needed to keep ourself away from Addiction. I think he was overconfident that he was going to make a profit, he probably thought that his moment was finally there. Don't get me wrong it's good to have confidence, but to be overconfident in gambling is deception that usually leads us to make a mistake. Mistake like losing a bet and even worse losing the entire bankroll... it's gambling, there are no guarantees. I guess we need to repeat that as often as we can, many people still don't get it.

It seems that your brother is prone to making mistakes, going from one to the next. This story is pathetic becausewhen gambling addiction is coming,it comes gradually,you won't know until it eats you to the extent you won't be able to live without it.Gambling addiction is a killer disease now, because it has destroyed many souls,spoil things and made people forget there homes to live on the streets.Not that they love gambling,but they are now finding it very difficult to live without it.If they don't gamble a day,it seems as if they would die,and this isn't supposed to be so.
