The number of scams is increasing everyday and it is difficult for it to be prevented. Awareness and exposure of their tricks is what is needed.  As for me, any thing that requires me to pay for it first before getting my money out of it, is a red flag and I know that it is a scam. Whether it is crypto, e-commerce, or in any other business they are the same. Scammers always have a modus operandi and they are easy to spot unless their victims are blinded by greed.

out of curiosity, I followed the instructions and assignments, of course with caution. but they actually pay the money directly into the bank account.
it consists of several sessions, and as we progress we will be given tasks that pay more. some are even asked to make a deposit first. I didn't continue the task when it was indicated like that. but some still go ahead and send deposits to the website provided. A few hours later one of the people who continued working on the task sent me a message and said that he had been cheated and could not make a withdrawal from the money deposited along with the promised bonus.

such scammers are real. Whether dealing with fiat or crypto, criminals are always updating their ways to find victims. We really have to be careful, especially parents who don't have much experience in the online world.

Once, when I was looking for work-from-home jobs, I came across a post that was hiring people for remote positions with salaries in my country's currency, not cryptocurrency. The scammer will mostly contact the victim via telegram to execute these kinds of traps which they find from random crypto groups that is why it is better not to receive messages from unknown contacts that can prevent 99% of such attacks even from reaching us.

Things for bring this to the forum, I think this is a new method scammers of this days are using to scam people. However this is very hard to be true though, no one will work and don't receive pay then send money for him or her to be paid or receive another task before he or she will be paid. It's a kind of thing that only a child or someone who is not thinking fast could fall for. The main purpose why one is looking for jobs is because they're looking for were to get money from and not were to put money, however we have a lot of people in different places that doesn't know scammers are real. I don't think this is a kind of scam I could fall for.

this is rampant everywhere and must of the peope that falls for it are desperate people that are looking for anything they can lay on to s a source of income. The recent and must popular one they've been using is to give you mini task to perform and they pay you for doing those task but the entry requirements is that you're to pay a certain amount. The higher the amount you at, the higher your weekly or monthly pay. You will be allowed to receive one or two payments so as to lure you entirely into the system and when you've become comfortable with them, they will most times as you to upgrade to ab higher amount which is suppose to triple your weekly paychecks. If you ever make the mistake of paying the money you've just lost and fallen for thier plans and they will never allow you withdraw your money again.

They are mostly ponzi scheme and should be avoided by all means. Generally, anything that involves you to make an initial non refundable amount before ever getting started is most times schemes that's created to extort money from you.

Like I always say "If you don't ignore the red flags you'll most likely not fall into a scam". The sole act of a person asking a potential employee to pay money before being given a job screams scam. What's the money being paid for exactly? If I am going to be working for you and help you make money directly or indirectly why do I need to pay you?

We don't need to be desperate and too anxious for money. This is what scammers thrive on. All the signs would be so visible but because we're desperate for money you'll fall for it and realise when it's too late. No information is entirely old fashion to me; no matter how popular something might appear to be, there are still people who are not hard about it, even if they have. They might not know how they operate, and this information for those who already have the idea can serve as a reminder to them that such scams still exist and everyone needs to be careful.

With the rate of scam schemes online it makes me treat any form of interaction with a stranger online with an impression of a possible scammer until proven contrary. I don't know about others but that's how I live safely online.

But, by the way, why will I, a job seeker be paying money for a job I haven't received payment yet. If the job was all tht genuine, why not cut that amount of money from my salary after I have gotten the job and received my payment.

I have a relative that recently got a job after he was scammed by this similar pattern of scammers due to his eagerness to get a job as a fresh graduate. Paid money requested from him by an acclaimed job agent online who claimed to have job openings contracts with companies, after 24hrs of payment all means of contact was blocked that was when he realized it was a scam. Any job that's genuine, whosoever that's involve will always ask you give him a certain percentage from your first salary for his services after you have gotten the job. Anything outside that, run.

Wherever these scammers are getting our numbers and emails, it's always best to use phone numbers in public which is like a spare to you. If in your country you are allowed to own more than 2 numbers then always keep 1 for your private contact and only a few people and close friends and relatives know that number. While the other is for signing up and for whatever stuff that you're going to do. These scams are normal in messaging platforms like in Telegram, they'll chat you out of nowhere and will start a conversation. Don't get on it and as soon as they message you, ignore or block them so that there won't be any further discussions that shall lead to their sweet and deceitful words.

I have had experience of this nature but I didn't give in because I already feel very suspicious with any thing that has to do with online works as long as I'm not dealing with the person in real life, I'm always very conscious of what actions I would take that wouldn't end in regrets.

Even with alot of informations I have got from this forum I don't like to have any issues regarding people with no through identity, especially people who first send a DM requesting for my skill I just feel like the might be scam that is why I'm still not scammed.

If anyone is going to be dealing with any one online they should try to verify by asking people who already have experience on it and also try to delay some kind of deals to know if they're good or not in the times of delay scammers might show themselves by being impatient.

Human resource agencies are overwhelmed with people who seek for jobs but still, they won't make it very obvious even when they seek money to do the favor so anyone who is asking/saying you need to pay to get something is kind of a red flag. Even we should be very careful while applying for jobs in genuine websites cause they are also filled with different types of scammers so finding the ob in the hard way is the best way to eliminate all kinds of scam traps.
