Making a posts is never consider to be easy but making a comprehensive posts that will portrayed ditch meaning to others and become important source for contributions needs thoroughly enough time. Merits are the core factor that attached a member to become dedicated to the system, he would do everything humanly possible to earn merits and boosts the level of his account.
Well, I wonna said that posting is easy or I am phrasing it a little differently. Posting is certainly easy but quality posting is a difficult task. What you post is up to you. You don't need multiple posts if you want to qualify you can get multiple qualifications with one post. You must maintain quality quantity and post to qualify. You qualify when a post quality and quantity mints in. At first you will find it difficult, you will learn and understand, then there will be no difficulty and you will be able to do it very easily. So, it doesn’t matter what you like and any topic of post. Your post quality then you get merit that's simple.

I have been into the system for some months now and I have made over twenty posts but no simply merit has been given to me or earn by me and this make me to be surprise on how these merit are generated, given or earned. However, looking at it in another perspective, I don't know if it is because I did not meet the number of my post require to earn a merit or because of the low quality of my post that is the reason why I had not been able to earn a single merit. So please I will like to get more clarifications on the possible requirement for earning merit.
Don't worry mate, I think you are good but to be  honest there is actually no limit or required number of post before you get to earn merit because I have seen so many users even do it with their very first post in this forum and for some users even a one line post can earn them lots of merits, it just that whatever you are posting should have some kind of value or importance to the reader or the general public here in the community and you be good to go.

Am dead sure a lot of replies have made it to your knowledge that to earn merits you just have to strive to be a good poster, to give quality solution solving and knowledge building posts. Reasons for this as a criteria to earn merits rather by posts quota, is that, by posts quota a lot of shits as post will be flying all over the forum rapidly to meet up for any set quota. But with the system in place on how merit can be earned every member of the forum at all time focuses on quality of their post rather than number of posts to be reached. And it makes sense that way.

Brother first of all don't panic if you want to be successful in this form then improve yourself post good quality which will benefit others don't think about merit because your job is only  Making a good post quality discussion in the forum. merit is a secondary thing that will earn you over time but you should not compromise on the quality of your post.  Increase your post activity and a good post will help to reach your next rank.

Actually there is no minimum or maximum post requirement to earn merit. If you can create good quality posts that contain information people can learn from and are very informative then you will have merit there. Maybe you posted a lot but those posts were not informative enough due to which you didn't get merit there. If you create good posts from now you will surely earn merit.

But remember to make good posts you must put in a lot of effort and spend a lot of time in the forum. If you can give your best effort then I think you might be able to earn merit. One more thing you can notice here is that those who are getting more merit can remember how they are making posts. You will definitely be able to earn merit if you create good quality posts by watching and learning from them.
