Been in this crypto game over 2 years now and I am 100% in altcoins currently and patiently waiting for alt season.

My portfolio is currently +80% overall after this mini crash we have seen in the last few days and I had hoped to have seen more of a return by now.

I have seen some say there will not be an alt season this bull run, some say it wont be till next year and some say it usually comes around 3 months after the Bitcoin halving which would put it around August.

I am hoping we only have a few more months to wait now as my patience is being tested, how is everyone else feeling?

Altcoin season is definitely here this year Bitcoin price movements are very important for altcoins to rise. The history we need to see is how far the Bitcoin graph will rise this year, whether it is still minimal to reach the altcoin season in the next few months. The thing that I doubt about the halving this time is that only two coins have reached a new ATH, namely bitcoin and ethereum, I think everyone is the same as OP waiting for the altcoin season to arrive.

You've to exercise more patience and learn how to take your eyes off charts. Otherwise, you could become unnecessarily worried thinking of price everytime. For alts to bull, it's not time bound. It can occur at anytime and no one can time it. To get a better perspective on when alts are likely to get into its bull moment, I use Bitcoin dominance to navigate it. My eyes are on that Bitcoin data to see when its dominance drops to below 48% of the total market capitalization. At the moment, that dominance is above 53%. There's no way alts can get more attention now as investors are still interested in bagging Bitcoin.

When you are patient to that altcoins you are holding, I think you will get the prediction right in the future, because there is no season that is permanent in this market, sometimes bullish season will flow for investors to make income before it will turn to bearish season for investors to purchase and hold for long term. If truly, you want to make income from the altcoins you are holding, you don't need to be panic about the altcoins season, because I know that altcoins season will definitely happen before the end of this year and it will going to be massive for those that will exercise patient till the season finally appear. Nobody can force you to experience loss and nobody can force you to experience income from this investment, because you have the final say, you can decide to sell during the bearish season to loss which i know you will not do that in the bearish season, because you want to achieve huge amount of income when the bullish season appear.

occurs when there is momentum in bitcoin, whether it is a rising bitcoin price trend or halving and in this season bitcoin is experiencing halving and usually bull runs occur between 3 to 6 months after that, if we look at this August there tends to be a correction in bitcoin, that could be a sign that a bullrun will occur in altcoin because until now even though the bitcoin price has stopped, the increase in altcoins has continued until this week.
