I want bring a matter of serious abuse to the attention of the staff and the community. It appears we have a successor to the previous merit manipulation cases used to inflate memecoin popularity (such as the case of Vlad2Vlad) and potentially a huge scale account farming operation by Julien_Olynpic.


When looking at the merit history, the total are difficult to ignore. https://loyce.club/Merit/history/1166480.html shows at least 1000 merit transactions sent to replies which include the word "chamby". This frequency is obvious irregular.


The merit system is intended to reward good quality posts. However, the posts being merited by Julien_Olynpic are bland posts that do not contribute meaningful discussion.

I'm really impressed with what I saw in this thread. From the name, serious memecoin, chamby is really position as a serious memecoin with it future plan.

I look at the website and the UI is eye friendly. You guys are doing a great job here and I can tell that this token stand out as a genuine community driven memecoin. The roadmap show that it is focused on radical decentralization.

I came across a post on twitter with a telegram bot link but it seem the bot is not longer active to execute what it was meant for.

The previous permanent removal of merit source status for Vlad2Vlad was a splendid step to protect the forum from merit-sourcing for the purpose of altcoin shilling.

Just leaving this here for the next merit sorcery realignment.

I know the post quality is quite subjective but this looks like a massive conflict of interest and not the best use of source merits. Perhaps a different merit source can be selected for the altcoin boards who would prop up more than one shitcoin thread.

Let's discuss more serious and interesting things. After all, we didn't gather in this thread to earn merits. As for me, being stripped of my merit source status doesn't bother me. I didn't actually ask Teimos to make me a merit source. Nevertheless, it was an interesting experiment. Merit is an extremely imperfect system. On other forums, every user is a merit source—in my opinion, this system is fairer.
However, this forum has always been known for its hostility toward altcoins in general and meme tokens in particular. Hostility and a kind of jealousy, perhaps. That's why, over time, most altcoins leave this forum and create their own forums. I believe that we will do the same eventually. In my opinion, it's in the forum's best interests to be tolerant of altcoins, as they generate traffic for the forum and many pages of interesting discussions. The forum has long since outgrown the Bitcoin theme. To understand this, just look at the gambling section. Gambling has nothing to do with Bitcoin, yet it occupies a significant place on the forum (significant off-topic). Man does not live by Bitcoin alone.

I'm glad to see you in good spirit despite what happened, you've a strong attitude for a person. Frankly speaking, someone like me have the best interest of this token in mind and want to see it grow. This is the only token I've seen that wasn't promoted unnecessarily, pumped and then eventually dumped, I observed this token for a long time before coming here and I wished for it the growth Bitcoin experienced. I don't care what they think. I work with my convictions for Chamby and I'm available for very serious discussions that would pivot it's growth. I'm still going to keep buying and holding, never going back until we get there. We can start by resuming talks about Chamby having it's own Blockchain and how to get it underway. If Chamby can get to it's expected future, people must put in the work and I volunteer myself for it.
