By far the one of the worst game of Argentina under Scaloni management, it was a super bad game for us.

Or Ecuador was very motivated but not good enough to win
Argentina goes in the next stage and that only counts, but I think Messi also missed a penalty.
Maybe they should rest Messi for next match, he is hurting the team more when he is not 100% fit and ready.

Well, i see the whole match and Ecuador dont do so much really, in fact the coach take out some of his best and dangerous players when they were still below in the result.

The main problem for Argentina can be they are playing the game knowing they are better so you play ina  "relaxed" way and that can be a huge problem.

Until the final no real team are gonna play against Argentina, all the other good teams are in the other side of the bracket (Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil).

Don't know why they had to risk him really. It was winnable without him, probably actually cost them the outright win (and then the penalty). If you guys win, it won't be because of magical football, really, but that is how it goes. Takes more than scoring.

I believe so and the odds were clearly indicating that.The odd of 2.82 against 2.78 for both teams means that the game would be a balanced one,Venezuela did well in the group stage yet in the first elimination game they could not hold it up anymore,as they say the ball is round and you never know what to expect from a game.Canada did well too in this tournament and I guess it is their best ever appearance so far,for me it is strange as football is not at all popular in Canada compared to all other teams taking part in this league,all other countries including USA and Costa Rica love football as of lately.

In the pool though there is no one that can take the last place out of me,this was the most disastrous pool of all the ones that I have taken part of.

Canada deserves to go trought, Canada miss a ton of goals in the first half of the game, and Venezuela found a goal because a non sense play by the Canadian goalkeeper.

Very good for the Canada national team reach the semifinal and being the best team of Concacaf in this tournament so far.

@swogerino don't worry I'll do my best to take the spot from you. With only so few games left, I have no choice but to decide with the scores I almost never in my life pick in Superbru. But too far to catch unless my scores get correct and others don't, so that's the Superbru dilemma

Honestly, I prefer Argentina not to win after their performance. Let one of the pure attackers win, and not even Brazil. I think it's time we reward smaller teams with more effort to give them Copa.

It's biggest game of 1/4 final without any doubts and I still not decided what outcome to pick. Brazil is little favorites on paper, but Uruguay so far left much better impression. Extra time and penalties wouldn't be surprise at all. Too bad that game starts 4 AM in my local time, it will be difficult to watch.
Does anyone here think that Panama can make upset against Colombia? Personally, I don't believe.

I pick Brazil 1 x 0 Uruguay, probably a tough game with lots of Yellow cards, maybe a red card, fouls and fighting 
There's a good chance the match will go to penalties too
And in my opinion, just like in the Euro, there should be extra time instead of going straight to penalties

I think Colombia will have no trouble beating Panama, I don't think there will be any surprises in this match

Gentlemen, Uruguay have arrived. My pick for the tournament even since the qualifiers. Bielsa's style truly fits the format, and even with 10 men, they were more aggressive and should have won the game. First appearance at this stage in 13 years, lovely!

Feel bad for Alisson, naturally, love the guy, but his forwards have not shown they deserve to progress.

I did miss out on the freebets but I feel confident about Uruguay now they dispatched of Brazil. Next up Colombia.

What a disastrous Brazil with all these big names they have yet they didn't manage to win in regular time against a great Uruguay I must admit,still not with the names that Brazil has.Of course it looks like Argentina is going to win the 4th consecutive trophy if they manage to win this and I don't see any team being capable of stopping them,they surely are not Brazil and their semifinal is a joke against Canada,it is the one game that should produce goals different from the first game of the group stage which ended 2-0 for Argentina.For Uruguay I think Colombia can eliminate them as Colombia has shown to be the strongest attacking team in this tournament and they I believe have scored the biggest number of goals so far,a statistic that is clear indication for me that they should be the second finalist.

All surprising results for me, and yesterday Brazil's game was terrible
In addition to being an ugly game to watch, there was still a lot of disappointment from Brazil, and what really stood out for the Brazilians is the lack of humility of the players

I think it's very difficult for me to recover with four games to go, but I'll try anyway

I know Brazil was out against Uruguay for that i choose Uruguay to win, but well the game ended with a draw.

This Brasil is unnaceptable and an insult to his rich history, aside of that to everyone who dont follow so much Copa America Uruguay is a beast on copa America, and they know how to beat Argentina and Brasil by playing his dirty games.

About the pool is gonna be very complicated to climb, because Argentina is the favorite in one of the brackets, and with that for us only remains the other semifinals and the final to have more room to choose results.

Not really sure which format is better. Often that extra time is extremely boring as both is being cautious and just play all these 30 minutes waiting for penalties.
Brazil is huge disappointment, already in group stage it looked that not everything is ok with their team. But such things happens quite often - they have many big names but fail massively.
I expected downfall of Uruguay after Suarez generation will retire, but seems that their future is bright - they have enough high level players who already in their prime now.

I agree with you, but i want to add some minor things.

The main problem of Colombia can be the lack of seriousness when they play.
Uruguay know better how to play this kind of games and how to make the game dirt and hard to play, with a ton of faults.

About Argentina, yes clearly we are the main contender but we need to wake up ASAP, because we are ina  very low level right now. Some players are not in good shape.

Is always a endless discussion about that, when you have Extra Time you see some teams dont play it in the way we expect, and nobody seeks the win, so you start thinking about cut it out, but when you dont have it you start to think...." oh come on why no extra time, this only rewards to the defensive teams" so this is gonna be perpetuated in a endless circle i think.

About the snakes..... i dont know they caught us with a low guard.
