If you can't invest in the right altcoin then of course your investment is risky and you will never be profitable.

Hi everyone, I'm still learning about crypto currency and the lots but I  wanted to share a conversation I had with a friend. 

So she's been hesitant to get into crypto, and I was trying to convince her to give it a shot. But she's particular about the risks involved.

She said something that stuck with me, 'I don't want to play a high-risk game with my money'. And I get it, the thought of losing your investment in this economy is terrifying.

But it got me thinking, is investing in cryptocurrency really a risky game?

Yeah, the OP's friend can try a DCA method with a little sum for it with the BTC to see how it goes, with little risk involved, in my opinion. That would be a good course of action.

Every investment is a risk, so when it comes to bitcoin investment, there is also risk involved in it. So we should know that investing in cryptocurrency comes with a great risk, and that’s what I do tell most people that I am introducing to crypto. So if she is not ready to take a risk, then it’s better you don’t force her to invest in crypto, because if she ends up losing at the end, you are going to be blamed for that. Since she is not ready to take a risk,  just leave her. Not everyone will invest in crypto, but I am sure later she will discover that the risk is worth taking.

You could even try signing up for a website like Fold and get BTC back for buying gift cards to places you’re spending money anyway. In fact, investing in cryptocurrencies carries many risks as well as many rewards. As with any business, you have to trade according to your risk and profit loss. So far nothing has been done easily without taking risks so whatever you do has to be accepted. However, caution must be exercised if precautions can be taken to minimize the risk in any case. When it comes to investing in crypto-currencies, you must exercise utmost caution in investing, as you will be in a unique situation, if you carelessly leave your invested wallet behind. I have never lost my investment investing in cryptocurrency nor have I ever lost money to anyone who has not made such an experience. I have been careful here due to which I have not admitted to any fraud till date.

Yes, but I guess everyone is not aware of that, or maybe they haven't experience it in their lifetime. As for me, there has been a lot of ups and downs in my investment, some really give a good returns, while others I lost money on it but learn a valuable lessons.

So whether putting a online business or starting new, there is always the risk associated with it. The difference is that how you deal with it, can you take it and stomach and continue or just sit around do nothing and totally quit. For crypto investment though, I would say that it's worth the risk as long as your investments are in the solid coin like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

I am happy that with the past risks that I've taken for this market, holding BTC and some altcoins, they're all worth it. Very much appreciative that when all of those storms that came to the market, I was able to survive it. I've held a couple of it and sold a lot but still, this game is good for the risk takers that have an investment somewhere else and already had that experience of taking risks. But it's not limited to them, a new investor that hasn't taken any risk is also welcome here. I think that for the new investors, the advantage is on them because they all get to experience the brutality of the market and its side ways, ups and downs and they're already prepared to take it to the other markets when they're able to experience those.
