Well, as much as I perfectly understand the angle you are coming from, and also in agreement with your opinion, let me also say that gambling for fun does not automatically imply spending less money on gambling, there are people that can spend tens of thousands of dollar on gambling and tell you they are just gambling for fun.

And what exactly is gambling for fun actually? Is it gambling and not winning, and feeling cool about it? How many people will gamble, lose all their money, and go on like nothing happened? Very few people if you ask me, except if the money lost isn't anything near significant, but if the money lost is significant, then truth be told, we all feel bad somehow, but many of us have mastered the act of being able to hide such feelings, by pretending that everything is cool, in the end, the fact remains that, gambling is not really fun without some winnings.
