I respect people who don't use social media more, I don't know why, even though I don't think about it.
The blessings you can find on the Bitcointalk forum are not even comparable to those on social media, in my opinion.
The information here is great blessings, the ones on social media are platforms full of pollution and bots and nonsensical redirects, so I'm not interested in social media either.
The problem is that not a lot of people think like us. Social media is full of visual illusions, and people like that. This forum doesn't have many visualizations; we are more into texts, which is considered traditional by most people these days, unfortunately. They don't know what they are missing out on though, regardless, it is tough to convince people that this forum is instrumental, especially those who are very much into social media platforms.
I have often heard such people saying that they get bored surfing around such forums, which is why they don't like it. Some would even say they get a headache after some time reading all the texts and barely having any visuals to see because they are used to watching videos and images while scrolling down through their Facebook and Instagram feeds.
From where I see it, we could be the first and last generation having interests in things such as this forum. People might like, adopt, and use Bitcoin in the future, but they will barely care about the forum where it all began because for them, it won't be anything more than an investment asset to be used for earning purposes.
