The reason you wonder of the possibility of being controlled by gambling basically in my own understanding is that probably you were informed of gambling in moderation earlier in your gambling activities, maybe you didn't chase losses or depend on gambling for your daily funding or revenue generation.

I didn't have that knowledge on time and worse of it all, gambling favored me early in my gambling life, so I focused on it as a career and it did to me what gambling normally do to people who focus on it with all their being. Everything that have a bad side should as well have it's benefits and to those who think gambling only ruins people's life, I think they've not come across the OP's post to see the benefits of gambling and I think the OP is very right about the socialization aspect of gambling cause I've been linked to several good friends cause of discussion concerning gambling activities and I believe their are people who's met some good friends and business partners in the casino. Honestly, it was difficult to speak from the bad experience of some gamblers because we don't know what is their issue and gambling strategy. But what @ethereumhunter tried to say is that we make money in gambling. Of course, we can't be lucky all the time but it doesn't mean we have a terrible gambling experience always. You are right some people hope on betting mostly winning every time, what I know in gambling is that is something that has to do with endurance, and I believe that most people who is into cryptocurrency doesn't know that gambling is something that has to do with opportunity and luck, it is obvious that you might be playing gambling almost everytime but you will not have the opportunity to win gambling, so from my own understanding of gambling, is something we win when we didn't expect it, so basically gambling consistent gambling or regular gambling will not make you to win.
