It's disheartening how the world become dystopian for the average population with the emergence of AI replacing worker but some company does need to make things efficient just to keep themselves from going bankrupt and AI might be the solution for that.

moving foward I expect that the world economy will be changing so significantly that great deal of people that are unskilled labour gonna get casted aside, the country that have small industrial sector gonna suffer the most, poverty will be more rampant.

e many robots, I think mechanic jobs will raise since they need to maintenance and repair the robots. But, if someone can create a robot that examine and repair other robots, then it's over.

There have been cars with autonomous driving technology since few years ago, even though it's not yet safe till now, if people can start to trust driverless cars, it's a threat to delivery courier and Uber's workers.

yeah even mechanic will eventually be replaced it's matter of time, it reminds me of how there's Devin AI that try to replace entry level programming jobs, basically programmer trying to take away job for other programmer, crazy world we live in.
as long as there's money to be gained from providing such service to replace other people's labour, it seems some people have no problem with that even in the morality level.

When I was little, I often saw farmers using animals to plow the land and it was almost entirely done traditionally. Now times are changing where farmers almost completely use machines from planting until harvest arrives.
If humans are not able to adapt to this then in the future they will lose many existing jobs and I have also seen hotels in Japan that are already using robots to serve guests.

If we don't want to be left behind and lose our jobs, humans have to adapt and we may not be able to limit robots from developing in the future.

I doubt, AI is currently taking jobs meant for humans. I wonder what will become of us in years to come. A lot of people will be unemployed which will definitely increase the rate of crime in the world entirely. Everything we do manually now can be done with much ease which requires a very minimum number of operators compared to when it is done manual, this should not be a welcome development.

I don't believe that the invent of AI is going to render humans jobless and make the world a worse place as you are imagining. When there's a new technology, it usually creates a different kind of opportunity for humans. In the olden days, there was a lack of modern technology and machines to do some jobs, but as the world got better with new technology and other machines being invested, there was a need to hire or employ individuals that were going to handle those machines that were being invested to make human activities easier. It's artificial intelligence we are talking about; it doesn't have brains like humans, and there is always an elastic limit to what a technology can do.

Probably in developed countries, they could afford to replace human workers with AI to automatize the workload to become more efficient. BUT STILL, it's quite limited to what sectors AI could replace you as a worker. AI lacks emotions and if you are working with writing and video editing stuff then as a human workers, you are still free from that. Yes, that's what I actually meant. We just need to adapt and continue to follow existing technological developments. And we must be able to take advantage of every existing and future technology. because most people who fail are those who cannot adapt to current developments and do not want to think openly about this. For example, Amazon company has automated most of there work and they have fired a lot of workers and only kept a few to manage these bots. As a content writer, I have seen a big decrement in the demand for content writers, because most of the managers are doing the smart work using AI by themselves, they have prompts of more than 500 to 1000 words about what type of content they want and with one click they can generate content good enough to not get caught by Google algos.

I really appreciate your insight. In the beginning, people were clueless about AI and misconceptions grew. Some people will continue with their ways no matter what, while others keep learning and updating themselves using the same technology. It's a good plan to learn from AI and let yourself run the system, not the other way around. Kudos if you do so.
