I gave him 12 words of my bitcoin passphrase but shuffling.
I met this same guy. I gave him my house keys and car keys but shuffled. Now my TV is gone, and my car.
You, sir, are an idiot.
Haha funny but it’s a bull eye. No one with the right thinking will trust a stranger and hand him what he asked.I’d probably believe if you are one of those but it seems that this is another fake story just to have something to raise in the forum. No one will bite that, even yourself will hardly believe on your own story.

Obvious fake! Both "fromindia" and "julia335" are clearly sockpuppet accounts operated by the same pathetic individual.

Some of his other alt accounts used on the forum before [1]:

OP, stop this nonsense and stop spamming lies for attention. Nobody here cares about your fabricated stories. Get lost!

Good catch. But outside of the loan scam can't figure out what the endgame is other then being a troll.
I mean, yes trolling is the endgame for some people but it seems to be they are putting in more work then needed for it at this point.

Will have to get some time and tag them all later.

LMAO 🤣🤣 this comment is just killing me. I'm with you! I just can't believe that anyone would that stupid as to give out their passphrase, like who does that?

By the way, I noticed that the OP just dropped a username of the supposed scammer.

The Op story sounded like a made up story when i first read it and I knew there was a lie there. Now I know I was right with this ones you quoted for us to see. Anyone who behaves like what OP did can not be a smart person. How do you give your password or passphrase to a stranger and expect to be safe. Only an idiot can think that way.

I had 12 word passphrase. Someone from the bitcointalk.org gave me private message and told me that he was a hacker and wanted job. I thought he was lying. I gave him 12 words of my bitcoin passphrase but shuffling.  I decided to give him 25 USDT after killing his time and getting my thesis paper editing.

I thought he could not be able to organise them. But now my bitcoin is gone from my wallet. What should I do now?
It was around 0.1243 BTC. Just crying.
While this is an unbelievable situation if it did really happened. Why would you give someone your 12 words whether they're shuffled or not. You don't give all of your keys to anybody and make them guess what's the correct pattern and sequence of your keys. And what's the purpose of it? just to prove that he's a hacker? What a lucky hacker indeed when a victim has given his keys and has also received 25 USDT for killing his time trying.

Is there any law infrocement unit to help me?
You have voluntarily gave your keys to that person if this is a real deal. No one's gonna help you out here and that amount of your BTC that has lost and stolen are gone now forever. But as this story is unrealistic, well, I bet that if this is a prank, you've got us.

Are you been serious right now? Why will u just give out your 12 word passphrase to someone who just messaged you. What where you expecting? I think there is something you are not telling us.

Another bullshit story told to farm impressions in this forum, you might wanna make sure you sound believable next time before spewing lies out here and wasting everyone's time.

You have to understand that 12! is a ginormous number which is the total number of permutations that a 12-word seed phrase could be in. You couldn't cram that much permutations in a single year, let alone in 5 hours, unless this "hacker" that you're talking about could fit in multiple millions of attempts in a single second via a quantum computer or something which is something that you can't own. None of what you're talking about is remotely true, and every single comment in this thread is telling you that you're a fake news peddler or something along those lines.

Next time choose more believable stories, or at the very least take from real experience. Better yet, if you know you can't make good content, don't post anything at all and don't clutter the main page. Just gets frustrating seeing posts like these when I've been singing praises about the bitcoin discussion board becoming even more smarter and less spammy lol.

This history sounds a bit not realistic. Hence here private message can be checked by admin and mods... So they can see if you are telling something real or not...
But the real question is: why to give random passphrase to some one? Roll Eyes

It should be 479001600 combinations possible with 12! not easy at all to test all these combinations and verify if these address are loaded...
Of course you can go to your local police and provide proofs of what happens.

You know how valuable your bitcoin stored in your wallet, and you end up trusting another person for your passphrase. You’re completely insane. But just like others have been saying, your post is like fabricated and no one’s gonna fall on that.

However, I’d still answer your question so that it should also raise an awareness for others. Your keys, your coins, and that should never be disclosed to others, regardless if it’s a new found friend or an old, trusted friend. And if ever this happens, go report to the nearest police station. I know they have an idea for that, but I’m not sure if you can still retrieve your bitcoin or just gone by the wind.
