It’s a good question but I’m not sure there’s really a great way to answer it. I guess it’s been both a blessing and a curse. On one hand it’s been something that’s helped mankind advance in ways that we would have never got to without it. On the other hand it has been the cause or pollution, war, and all sorts of negative things in that aspect.

Definitely a good idea to try and move away from it.

Why does USA intervenes in the internal affairs of other Middle East nation? It's because of their oil.

It's a blessing for countries that are drilling, refining and selling it and used the money for the betterment of their country, it's a course for countries that has it, sell the oil and then loot the money in other countries but oil discovery is global problem for everyone. I prefer you make use of the word "curse" instead of "cause" because your spelling may change the intended meaning. But anyways natural mineral resources like crude oil is a blessing to any society that have it. But it becomes a problem when the greedy politician handle the welfare of such society. Crude oil has caused alot of problem in many places and it is simply because of political manipulation. They shear public fund generated from the natural resources and bride some representative of the host community where the oils is generated and set confusion amongs the youth while they keep enjoying themselves. It's only when people that represent you in your region decide not to sell your right and accept bribe, that is when oil money will be a blessing and not a curse. Oil is a natural resources so there's no way a natural resources is going to be a curse to a country unless those managing the country are thief that do not want their people to benefit from the natural resources that their country has. This doesn't mean the natural resources was a curse, it just means those in power aren't supposed to be their because they don't have the best interest of the nation at heart. When a good leader takes over, the country is going to enjoy their natural resources. Countries that have been able to make good use of their oil are world richest countries right now. The world is being powered by oil and no country that has it should be suffering but unfortunately that isn't the world we find ourselves in because I'm writing from a country that has one of the best oils yet our minimum wages is around $45.
