For me, if the game doesn't involve money then it's not gambling. But solely for entertainment since you didn't risk anything. It only requires your time, it might be entertaining but I don't find it exciting.

No it can't be considered as gambling when it is termed free. It is free because you are either not paying money for playing the game or that the agent has decided to award you with free game maybe you have been gambling with them and this is especially in board games like billiard or snooker, table tennis etc. But regards to the content of free game, no it is not gambling. Gambling involves staking of money or other valuables to gain or profit from it. So at the end of free game, you don't get any profit neither would you also lose from the free game.

When you gamble, you stake or risk something of value with the hope of getting some better in return if the outcome of the game is good. But here, you staked nothing, no risks involved and you still got no reward after winning aside the fun you had. This means, the free card games you played cannot be said to be gambling as they are not related in any form.

It depends on what your motives are; if you're driven with an interest of getting some few bucks afterwards, you already know you'd have to fund and wager with real money. I know about an application that you could lunch and play real card games but then, the best part of it is that it's not a casino. For the fear of not getting enticed to try out with real funds, so many people could decide to avoid it completely - especially since they can't afford to lose a dime since all they just want is to have fun.For the best part, IMHO, since it's totally free, it doesn't feel like it's a gamble.

Free is free so not technically gambling but that’s how they get you hooked, so they do that because they want you to take the freebies and want more. So I would say that the free games are a tactic used by the online casinos to get you to gamble for real.

if you're not using any money for the bet and you're going to win an amount at the end of the bet maybe because you won a betting voucher then it's possible that you're gambling but if you're just playing your regular game where there is nothing to win or loose, it's iether you're just practicing or you're having an unarmed fun from it.

We've been regular card players even before fully coming into gambling and we never saw it as a big deal or as gamble. My mum wouldn't want to be called a gambler but actively plays whote with us and we catch fun with it at our convininece and because money isn't involved it's never looked at as gambling. From the literal definition of Gambling, it's the process of playing games of chance for money. when money isn't involved, it's mere games and not gambling.

It is not gambling when there no money or any other valuable items at stake of being lost. It only become gambling when you can likely lose the money that you staked but if you win some money without staking your own money, is still not gambling. Free games are good but do not get over exited when playing them because sometimes they are useless and just used to make you pick interest in playing with money for real which is when you begin to gamble and the outcome is not as it was when playing in a demo mode or free mode as you have expressed.
