I know that there are difficult times to make money and maintain money, which is a world problem. I have had some thoughts on it and this is what I think may have been the reason.

in my honest opinion and from observation, those kind of people are most times the worse gamblers. It's easy to regulate the extent you follow up in your gambling habit when you didn't come into the system at the point when you're financially down. Well, if the person's reason for gambling is because of financial needs and they later hit a jackpot and become wealthy, there are two things involved, it's either they quit or continue gambling but in a case where addiction is involved I don't think it would be easy to quit except help come from somewhere, like advise from loved ones or they make a decision to minimise excess gambling and stand on their ground.

 We all know that addiction is not something that one could easily stop, sometimes you might not necessarily intend on being an addict to a particular thing but the fact that you turned it to a habit then you'll definitely get addicted and in the case of a person who's purpose of gambling is for financial needs you never can tell how often they must have been gambling before they hit the jackpot.
