Here the question always arises about the motives of what made the OP open a topic on our forum.  If he was simply hoping to find simpletons who send their money anywhere, then he was clearly mistaken. 
But there may be another goal - to advertise oneself, although such a topic is more of an anti-advertising than an advertisement.  On the other hand, anti-advertising is also information that is remembered.  Maybe this was his goal?

If you live in the UK (or allowed to gamble there) then JenningsBet (JoeJennings) allows you to bet via Telegram, they used to take only phone betting but added Telegram into the list.

They also have physical betting stores.

Just for comparison a few days ago when Trump was in BetFair with 1.40 then Ladbrokes had him for 1.33 and JenningsBet for 1.25 so the odds aren't always the best ones, but it seems like their business model works, so if anyone is looking into a similar operation try to "copy-paste" what they do.

if you have a service to advertise you will be at least present to provide details and explain as much as you can so people can trust what you're offering.
if OP decide to "evaporate" isn't a good sign. Moreover if this service has not a ToS it's pretty clear that trust a complete stranger in telegram... this sound like the start of a big scam.... definitely avoid anything similar... pretty useless and with tons of serious risks.

Physical stores means guarantees. And there are some situations where it would be interesting to use betting agent, even with smaller odds.

By the way, this is probably a problem for many forums where financial issues are discussed, including cryptocurrencies.  There are always guys who write some completely stupid topics, hoping to find fools or very naive users among the community of such forums who will accept and send them money.  And unfortunately, among thousands of reasonable, common-sense users, there will definitely be one fool who is ready to give his money to scammers.  This is exactly what they, the scum, are counting on.  Apparently they even make money from it.  It is also necessary to take into account that if the amounts are relatively small, then law enforcement agencies do not react in any way to such fraudulent actions. 

It looks like this stream of enticement will be endless.

Red flags for me are using telegram, newbie account and invite "for questions" in telegram or private messages. Also pay attention when there are no any contacts, you can check - any physical stores or company name for example.
Anyway we will often get such threads, so we need at least suppose that the OP is cheater until he proves back.

Many of them just spam you they invite you for a small talk and act like they are newbies and wants to learn something from you and when they got your attention they drop you links on platform they claimed they invested and have made a lot of money.

I'm friendly on Telegram but once the course of conversation directions is going on links that I'm not asking I just block these people tell them to go to hell.

People who will create a thread here and invite you to PM them on their telegram have a lot of tricks for them to deceive you on scam projects they managed so if they are not going to post everything here and all information will be on Telegram better block this people because they have hidden agenda.

This really seems to be a common way to lure you into all sorts of financial schemes in order to get at least something, even just a little money, from you.  Perhaps pretending to be simpletons and newbies, these cunning guys ingratiate themselves into your trust, although in reality they are not simpletons or newbies at all, but simply receive their reward, for example, through a system of referral links.  So everyone just needs to be more attentive and careful and take a more careful approach in general to potentially communicating with complete strangers. 
By the way, scammers are becoming more and more sophisticated. 
There is clearly progress in their actions, based on greater camouflage of their fraudulent intentions.

Telegram sounds rather like a more friendly place for betting third parties to try to reach their potential clients. Even discord seems to be more reliable than Skype, though, I am not sure they would allow gambling groups within their service as Telegram does.

I don`t think that there is any difference between all these platforms. The main idea is the same, use could use even ICQ for it not long ago. The main problem is how to trust someone in the internet. As for me - i don`t ready to believe to  anyone unknown. And here the OP wants to attract your money and the same time you have to go to his telegram to get some information. I don`t think that it works so.

Nowadays, anyone can set up a professional looking website with relatively little money and not much time, actually, that is how many of the crypto Ponzi schemes operate nowadays: they set up a very good looking webpage and post their telegram there, so people are more likely to fall for the scam.

The only way I could trust someone in Telegram, would be if that person is someone from this forum, with a high reputation and able to sign a message using their personal/business Bitcoin address, otherwise it is healthy and protective enough to assume anyone contacting you through Telegram is a scammer.
Also, I don't understand what would be the objective of going through the hassle of contacting a betting agent, if there are already very reputable services and bookies on the internet, even if the odds are better, the risk of ending up scammed is not worth it .
