If by any chance, you believe, this will end up by decision, quite good to bet on with 9x odds.

One option/market that is appealing to me is the "over 4.5 @1.95" as i think Doheny will try to survive the first few rounds of onslaught and also Inoue will be sizing up his opponent in the first three rounds so over 4.5 is the way to go at least for me.

Yeah, most likely this is what TJ have in mind, just to survived the early onslaught of Inoue and then see how it goes for him. If he survived in the first to five rounds, then maybe he will likely to go to at least 8 rounds and who knows maybe it's the first time that we will see Inoue going into the distance since his first fight with Donaire.

Nevertheless, it's going to be a big risk for us gamblers to think that this is possible as we can see the condition of Inoue really at 100% again and again and he is very consistent in his every fight and really go and try to win by knockout.

That's tough task to be done especially Inoue is aiming for an early kill. Trying to survive will be so difficult on his side so maybe he should think more better strategy on how he can avoid to receive those body shots from Inoue. Inoue is red hot nowadays and it will be so hard for Doheny to defeat Inoue. But who knows maybe their camp can figure out then find the weakness of the Japanese monster then defeat him if he could do that for sure Doheny name will became more famous on the scene.

But I go on low risk and will bet in Inoue since going with Doheny is really risky and it seems there's low chance that we could able to see him win against Inoue.

I agree, gonna be hard to survived, much more last the full 12 rounds. With how Inoue is destroying every one, and he has set the bar high, fighting former and current champions and all of them tasting the canvass.

I'm not saying that TJ is bad, he is good fighter in his own right, but I do not thing that he has something in him that Inoue hasn't face before. He might resist the first could of rounds, but once Inoue figure him out, it is just a matter of what rounds will Inoue wanted to finish him.

In his last 5 fights, in which Inoue fought champion and former champions, no one lasted 12 rounds. Only Paul Butler goes to the distance at round 11, but we have seen the Butler was in full bicycle control in that fight and he just run from round 4 to round 11.

And when Inoue caught up with him with that body shot and then he combine it with another head shot, Butler just falls down and we all know that he can't or will not get up. So there is no template yet to be laid on how to beat Inoue or even go to full 12 rounds unless you are just going to run all night and will not engage him. But that is the worst that you can do, sooner or later you have to man up and fight toe to toe.

Yeah, very risky for us bettors but for me that's the best betting option as of now as the options/market are not so attractive. I'm just hoping though that Doheny will survive the first five rounds though. I also think that Inoue will be careful here in the first few rounds as to not repeat the flash knockdown he suffered against Luis Nery.

But sometimes though, we really need to take those risk, and it's really good at 1.95, he just hope that TJ has strong enough chin and try to make it an awkward fight for Inoue in the first four rounds. Then after that, 5th is going to be crucial for him and again, if he stands at the end of the round then it's going to be a big win.

And I can feel you watching the fight, cheering for TJ to extend and not to get knockout and then Inoue just trying to figure him out and just be very careful because he become cocky against Nery that's why he suffered a flash knockdown in his career.

Lol, but yes, and we thought that Butler is going to be strong as the fight is in own home turf and he tries to be very aggressive against Inoue early. But when he tasted the latter's power, he was just trying to survived the last couple of rounds and this fight is special for Inoue as he unified the bantamweight division.

Inoue's full display of killer instinct, he has been stalking Butler for the last 10 rounds and when he sense that he is about to give up and just one knockdown he will win that fight, he goes for the kill and Butler was not able to  recover from that body shot. So we might see Inoue also targeting the body of Doheny hear early and see if his body is solid before going upstairs in the head.

It was impressive how Inoue didn’t lose his focus and stuck to the game plan. He wasn’t careless because he didn’t want to experience what happened during his first fight with Donaire. Although he sought a KO win, he took it slowly and methodically, which is what happens in most of his fights. He knows he has the power, but he can’t underestimate his opponent, as it’s a reality in boxing that one punch can change everything, and in every fight, Inoue’s legacy is at stake.

He has matured because he learned from his experiences, and he isn’t making careless decisions about moving up. He’s ensuring that he’s 100% ready before deciding to move up. After Doheny, if he wins, we can expect him to move up, as it’s been overdue, and we believe he can achieve success in a new division and become an undisputed champion. People aren’t talking about this fight much; they’re more interested in whether he’ll finally move up after it.

People aren’t talking about this fight much; they’re more interested in whether he’ll finally move up after it.

Not only that, because of the current odds, there might not be boxing fans that are interested to bet on this fight. Maybe some of us just wanted to see this fight happening and go and Inoue winning in another knockout.

And then he officially declared that he is moving up in the Featherweight division in his next fight. If that happens, then we will be so happy to see him fight the top dogs of Featherweight as this is going to be a big challenge for Inoue to continue to become a elite and remain in the top pound for pound. Of course, it is also great for the champion at this division and that they are not going to easily be steam rolled by Inoue just like what he did in bantamweight and super-bantamweight division.

Yes, and that is a sign of a elite fighter, he was able to make the adjustment and then like a surgeon, slowly dissect Nery and then win by another knockout. Although I don't like to see Inoue going down, but still he manage to comeback.

However, if he goes up in weight, and if by chance he goes down again, who knows, the champion at 126 lbs has full power and a lot in their arsenal. But let's discuss it in the future if he moves up and then challenge whoever the champion at any division at featherweight. For now TJ is not a threat to him but just another boxer that he needs to knockout.

^^ That is the first time that we have seen Inoue vulnerable, I think Nery might have gotten to his skin, so just imagine if Casimero is that boxer that he will face, he might have affected mentally in the psyche war and who knows what Casimero can do to him hehehe.

But yeah, Inoue has put a break on the pedal so to speak, and just face a light competition on TJ before he moves up in weight. Probably just going to the motion of defending his belt and then have a new weight class to conquer for next year.

At this division, no boxer is a big threat to Inoue, so he should already consider moving up after this. Doheny will just be another name on his resume, and it’s likely this will end in another KO, maybe even shorter than the last one. Though there’s no guarantee that he’ll be able to maintain his quickness if he moves up, at least he should try because it's been long overdue. Inoue has the power to KO his opponents, but what makes him so dangerous is his quickness. If he can’t carry that to a higher weight class, we might see some interesting matchups against him, with a 50-50 chance for either boxer to win.

And that fight happen in UK, so maybe Inoue has some sort of disadvantage, because after this, all of this fight was in Japan and he just steam rolled everyone knocking them down. And that is why we wanted him to fight outside of his comfort zone, so that we can see if he has that power or the mentality to still possesses that knockout power. Anyhow, TJ agree to fight him in Japan again, as TJ is more familiar there. But as what others see, it could be the same outcome and it's just a matter of what rounds TJ is going down, could it be 4.5 round below or up?

I'm betting that this fight would go over 4.5 @1.76 as i think that Inoue will be cautious in the first quarter of the fight and also, Doheny will try to avoid those big shots early in the fight.

This fight is going to be broadcast live for free in Youtube and Facebook in selected countries and PH is one of the lucky country. Will share the link once available.

Inoue vs Doheny is now live guys Top rank boxing youtube channel share a live stream on this match

Watch it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3x9xqWj2xQ

This fight is exciting. We could see here if Inoue could still reign and remain undefeated or Doheny will take a glory then mark a first defeat on Inoue's career.

Placing my bet for Inoue since I still think he can take this fight and he's always in good condition.

Edit: As expected Inoue wins against Doheny.

You were not wrong about this, but Inoue was trying to finish him off before the 4th round though. It's just that, Doheny was severely hurt and was trying to avoid any additional heavy damages from Inoue's power punches.
Doheny was just trying to survive and were basically and obviously trying to land a lucky shot, but I honestly didn't think it would happen as he was too slow for Inoue. His punches and power punches were easily blocked and parried by Inoue. From everyone's point of view, Doheny stands no chance at all. Anyone could already tell that after the result of the 1st round.

I got it at a higher odds before the fight at Stake mate, I think we have discussed it on the other thread. So it's a good win for us, finally, I have been on a losing streak so it's good to finally win.

And it's reported by Bob Arum that Inoue will have his customary end of the fight in Japan next, so we really don't know who will be Inoue's next opponent. And then next year he will open up his campaign in no less than US soil, and most likely he will also going to move up in the Featherweight division.

I was impressed by TJ though, but I don't know why he keeps on staying at the corner, the accumulation of punches was too much for him, at the end of round 2, you can see that his face has damage already.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZnHWgzTvbM

Hopefully, it will be true that Inoue will go and fight in the United States at the start of next year and probably will face a touch 126 lbs champion or at least a great contender and test how he fits in the featherweight division.

I underestimated Doheny he put up a good fight he even landed a lot of good punches but Inoue's power and speed were just too much until he suffered an injury, It was another Inoue's superb performances, he is overstaying in the Super Bantamweight division no more opposition can match up his power and speed.
I hope he explores new territories like the Featherweight division, if he can maintain his speed and power he is a threat in that division.
