Who cares if it is one or the other as long as the presidential party can recognize bitcoin and what it is, for the future of America and eventually around the globe.

History has shown us crypto's success without the approval of one nation. That's the beauty of decentralization. If America votes for a pro-crypto President, you can rest assured market prices will go up to the moon at a fast pace. Mainstream adoption will benefit too. Otherwise, it will take much longer before crypto (particularly Bitcoin) can reach new gains.

I'm certain that one way or another, the United States of America will embrace the revolution. It wouldn't want to get left behind in the dust. Would it? Especially when China is taking advantage of crypto/Blockchain tech. It's all a matter of adopting the latest technologies to stay ahead of the game. Softer regulations will help usher an era of growth for the crypto industry. Let's hope for a brighter future of America as the world's leading crypto hub. I'd advise americans to vote wisely this next November. Smiley

The debate between the two political parties will be happening today between Trump and Harris.
So those who are interested in what each candidate has to say might want to tune in.
This time around I doubt they will be discussing anything to do with cryptocurrency as this is more of a feeler in the eyes of each party.

But the headlines for those interested of what will happen to bitcoin if one or the other wins is quite interesting:

source: https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/09/40778409/donald-trump-winning-the-election-could-propel-bitcoin-to-90k-but-a-kamala-harris-win-coul

Same was stated by a well known bitcoin related website:
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2024/09/09/bitcoin-could-hit-90k-by-year-end-if-trump-becomes-president-again-bernstein

Trump has being able to get support of Elon Musk to back his plans for digital assets, he also has 18 % chance of talking about crypto at his next debate with Kamala Harris who stand at 10% per Polymarket prediction since she has been silent on crypto .

They also featured polymarket on CNN as it is the most well known platform to place bets on these obscure markets:

But there is another one which are taking bets on anything to do with these markets on running up to the elections.

Bitcoin falls as Kamala Harris and pro-Crypto Donald Trump debate  Angry Huh

https://www.hindustantimes.com/business/bitcoin-falls-as-kamala-harris-and-pro-crypto-donald-trump-debate-101726022335986.html

Even though an adviser to kamala's campaign said Harris will back measures to help grow the industry.

Trump has also talked about supporting crypto,

Weird market movement if both candidates are apparently 'pro crypto' , before the election atleast.

Read the subject:Trump picks the first ever bitcoiner on a presidential ticket who holds bitcoin!

This thread is about BTC and any posts from outside influences to try and turn this into a political thread will be removed!
Having report(s) on this thread will not matter one bit since it's inception and all my other threads are not entirely political from the OP.
Get this in your minute understanding of the creation of these threads and why they belong in the bitcoin discussion topic.

No matter if someone tries to post something that can divert it into that direction from some outside influence or even posts I add to the topic in question.

Extreme fear vs extreme greed again, huh?

Looks like the prices are already locked in.

But one thing that I'm noticing from these articles though, is that these changes are only going to be temporary, for a few months. I have never seen an event affecting the price of Bitcoin for longer than 6 months, for instance. And there's basically nothing that can stop Bitcoin from breaking its ATH eventually, no matter who wins the election.

Elon Musk is the richest person in the world. So seeing him backing Trump, tells me Harris doesn't stand a chance. Trump being a pro-crypto candidate himself, and Elon Musk being a lover of Dogecoin is a huge plus. Harris has been silent about crypto lately. She hasn't been taking it seriously as much as her Republican counterpart. In a last minute move, Harris decided to collect crypto donations for her political campaign. But like I've stated before, it's already too late for that.

The recent presidential debate has been an interesting one. Imo, Trump has shown strength as he always did during past debates. A good thing he chose a Bitcoiner as his vice presidential nominee. There's a high chance BTC will go to the moon if Trump wins. Fingers crossed that will be the case in November. Otherwise, you can say bye-bye to crypto in America for good. Cheesy

That was under a guise of manipulating the public.
If you know how to read between the lines you will see that Coinbase is collecting donations for her campaign through A Future Forward USA PAC not that she is particularly accepting them directly.
Of course they are accepting money in any form to help her campaign along.
But solely saying she is Now Accepting Cryptocurrency payments! to show she is pro-crypto is an utter bald-faced lie.
