After i posted i made my picks for this round and..... i made some bold ones, not because they are actually super bold but i feel like most of the people is gonna stick with some "sure" picks and others are gonna look for a match full of goals like Barcelona-Atletico Madrid(that could be a trap also).

Lets see when the deadline pass which teams were selected in the end.

I will make my picks after my work shift today. For me its simple, Barca all the time, even though its Atletico who has only lost once at home, I think somehow our faith will be repaid. It does look like its a trap for sure but the beauty of Atleti is sometimes they feel like playing funny and not playing to not lose Lets hope!

The international break is over, and we can finally focus on some real football. There was a lot of excitement during the break, and Italy once again didn’t manage to qualify for the World Cup—another shocker. But that’s football; we love it because of the downfalls and the rise.

The answers are in, and I forgot that the EPL is still not active this week so it was a little difficult to choose this week my teams, but we still have some good matches in the FA Cup.

I agree but is not only the economy, for me is a demographic probelm, why they are not producing a single good footballer in this last years? What are playing the youngs there? Fortnite? Crossleague goal Madness? , BSFL?

I've never heard of a triad united only by their preference for outliers haha. KTC has the luxury of being in the prize spots in Superbru pools, so he plays here with the freedom of knowing that haha.

I can also add that there's another factor: the overall level of teams is leveling out. And some historically strong teams inevitably end up on losing streaks. For example, could one have imagined 30 years ago that Norway would beat Italy with a total score of 7-1 or that Iceland would sometimes show super results? Now this is perceived as the norm, but I remember the times when these teams could safely be said to not exist.
By the way, for some reason this progress only concerns Europe and Africa, South America, on the contrary, seems to have completely degraded.

There are dirty rumors I heard about evil Mafia bribing some teams to score and others not to score, based on his wishes. 
Someone should finally stop this financial manipulations and corruption in sport!

Bayer and Bayern did not want to lose, the total goals became 9.

Imagine in a little short time Bayern Munich can win dramatically, and the craziest thing is that in the 90+ minute they were able to score two goals which finally became a victory ... like this team there is no sight.

Leverkusen were 1-3 down but turned it around to 6-3... so we're not wrong this time, it's just that Real Madrid haven't been able to find the back of the net yet, so it looks like this team is going to be a clown again.

I am disappointed with Real Madrid losing with scoring only one goal against Mallorca, and I am still waiting for Stuttgart to score goals against Dortmund.

Real Madrid sucks  . I thought I had the perfect start by getting both Bayern Munich and Leverkusen but Real Madrid ruined it for me. I was actually waiting for their 2nd goal after they equalize but I guess they are just so different when it comes to LaLiga and UCL

Atletico - Barcelona to go for me and if both of them score 3 goals each then this would be perfect to catch up but I doubt it could happen

I wonder what the odds were for Bayern to win in the 90th minute. Probably something like 100. In a normal game, they should have been lower, of course, but because Bayern were playing with a rotating lineup, their initial odds were 1.6++, and I didn't think they were favorable at all, so I just closed the stream. But... Bayern's only failure today is that they scored 1 goal less than average (crazy, right?) 
Bayer made me a little money (or rather compensated for the losses at Real), eh... the title is gone again.

About B Munich, we talked about this behavior a few months back and they keep doing it, is just crazy scoring 3 goals in the last 10 minutes several times is beyond comprehension of anyone.

Haha, I didn't even realise it until you pointed it out. But all right, let's try and put a full stop on this thread, let's not forget that England, the country with the best footballers and teams in the world (supposedly) have not won a major cup in 60 years. The ultimate international farmer

Out of nowhere the score between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid is now 1-1, while I was thinking this going to be goalless at least by halftime, maybe your 3-3 wish isn't an outrageous one after all.

I have to be glad that Dortmund also somehow scored 2 goals late into the game and kept Stuttgart at bay, It could have gone a lot worse for me tbh.

Looking good currently but now I have to sweat that Barcelona might score a few more. Atletico was good in the first half but Barcelona is difficult to play against with a player less.
The next goal is crucial here - Atletico will play their classic timewasting football now. If they manage to run the clock, I'm well positioned to close the gap.

However - if Barca scores soon and Atletico opens up - might easily end up with 3 or 4 Barca goals.

Atletico opens up ?? Did you ever see that? Not trying to screw with you, really curious. I don't think Simeone has that in his tactical book. For them opening up means having 2 attackers on the pitch and playing 4-4-2, with all of them helping the defense.
