Rules:

• Select 5 teams every week.
  
  Between week to week you can choose different teams freely.
  
  There is no teams restriction per country.
  
  The sum of goals from these teams will be your points/score.
  
  The user with most goals at the end of the season wins the contest.
  
  Each one is responsible for checking that the teams who select plays on the week, if they do not play it is their strict responsibility.
  
  We are gonna try to stick to the PM calendar but this is not gonna be super stric and i decided in which weekends we play.* (im still gonna need to see how is develop and change the calendars in the most tricky part of the season)
  
  Rounds only gonna be played on weekends.* (some exceptions rounds can happen with matchs in midweek but its likely to be one or two along the whole season).
  
  When some leagues are not playing on weekend for cups, posponed rounds , bundesliga winter rest, etc i can add some other teams from the  leagues who are still on play in that specific date and can also add some teams from other league to reach 20 teams but is not gonna likely to happen.*
  
  I can also add teams from the same league when for cups some team are not gonna play in that week and the teams to be added is gonna be the next one outside the top5(6º position) and so on if the following also dont play.*
  
  If a game is postponed but is played before the start of the next round, it will count towards the current round. If it is played after the next round has started, it will not count and the substitute team will enter the game.
  
  
  Total ammount of rounds is gonna be defined after we reach the mid season, but expect to be between 28 and 34 since Bundesliga has less games than other leagues.**(last year we play 30 rounds)
  
  TEAMS TO CHOOSE ARE GONNA CHANGE WHEN WE REACH THE 5º ROUND OF THE TOURNAMENT AND WE HAVE A NEW TOP FIVE IN EVERY LEAGUE. THIS RESHUFFLE IS GONNA HAPPEN AFTER EVERY 5 ROUNDS ALONG THE SEASON.

*( This whole points are under my strict decision)

**I cannot assure the ammount since the calendar change a lot when the tournaments are in play

NEW FOR SEASON 2:

- You can use VAR two times in the whole season, you have to send me a PM before the deadline of the round or submit for a second time and im gonna take into account your second submision.(you can change one or five teams each time you use it)
- When you miss a deadline you are gonna play with only 4 teams. This 4 teams comes from the  teams from your last round minus one which is gonna be the one who score the most goals in the missed round. If a reshufle happens and one of the teams is not longer in the game, that team is gonna be replace with the new team, if more than one team change in that specific round im gonna take the one who scores more as replacement(it has to be from the same league).




Tiebreaks:

• Tiebreak for rounds: Total ammount of goals scored by the 20 possible teams to be selected in that round.In case of still a draw the first submited picks win.*
  * Tiebreak only enters in play when we have more than 2 users with the same score at top, if we have one winner he receive a $50 freebet if we have 2 both receive $25 if we ahve more than two user at top with the same score tiebreak enters into play.
  Tiebreak for the leaderboard and placements: 1)Total ammount of goals scored in the 4 leagues combined at the end of the season. 2) Number of rounds won

SEASON 24-25 RESULTS

This is gonna be a lot of work for us to investigate properly
100 teams, checking the fixtures of all of those 1-2 stars teams.. Damn hahah.

Might I suggest that we have to pick them for the whole season/can change them only 1-2 times over the course of the season? Or to reduce the number of teams?

If I play, I want to play to win - and it will make me pick these at random most of the time.

I dig the format, I think it's just too time consuming with so many teams.

Well you know better than me, its not easy to make a competition and stand with the three pilars fast, fun, and with a certain level of skill.

We are heard that casinos are not like to sponsor normal predictions pools anymore so much because they were boring and a lot of people fall of in the middle of competition, so i need to make a diferent twist, for that is week to week, if i only put to select teams for all the season the thread is gonna ve very silent, and nobody wants to sponsor it.

About research.... yes is a little bit but i dont feel like is so much, because some teams are gonna be easy to select in most of the cases, in the top teams pot for example, and also a easy way to resume the work is only see the ammount of goals a teams make, with only that stat you cans tart to make good work, but i know is room for make a better research and see against which team every team play and see if that game is gonna be a lot of goals or not between them. I think is part of the fun and the skill

Sorry, didn't realize that we have a discussion thread as well.
I guess running this in parallel with Superbru can take off some of the research, while we're doing Superbru we can already mark some teams that we think would score a lot of goals.

First of all, it's nice to see people coming with new ideas. I looked at format and I din't decided whether I will play or no. As said above, we have almost 100 teams from all pots combined, it would take too much time time to check all fixtures properly, so, probably mostly simply will go with random picks each week. Though, on the other hand we already predicting most of these teams on Superbru/Kicktip, except French league. I'm just wondering about such format, how much active discussions it would make.
If I will see more regulars joining, I will be IN too.

I'm thinking, to make it easy to calculate, all you (organiser) need to do is create a sort of running sheet with all the teams from all the pots listed out, then simply entering a weekly score (say, at the end of gameweek, you enter all the scores from all the games).

A separate formula tab compiles weekly submissions from each player; say I pick Real Madrid, then my submission has Real Madrid = YES. Formula only counts SUM of scores for teams = YES.

The work is only two things:
- entering scores
- copy-pasting submissions into formula tab

Damn guys, I saw this competition earlier but I didn't join, now it does look a bit simpler. However, I probably have to say no this time, even Fantasy I got an invite but I am saying no, only for the reason its a rush for me to look at new formats. Honestly BSFL is kinda a killer for me in time, so I'm not very sure I got enough to do more forms.

But I will follow, if thats okay, and join next season. Hopefully!

I got pressure from one of you to join everything also lol and I truly appreciate that, but its not even about fees or anything but literally I fear to forget. Championship pool is already additional and now there are 6 different competitions, I worry for having too many to remember

It gonna start this week or the next  we need to close some details with our sponsor and to have the Bundesliga also starting. So we can be more players since we dont have so many time left ,and also in a very strange situation LaLiga starts on thursday.

In fact it was done in purpouse because i need to use that space when the competition starts. In the fir "reserved" it gonna be the link to the forms for every single gameweek like we do on the BSFL system.
The other one it was not do in purpouse but people started to ask question in the sign up thread so i quote them here to bump this one.

I joined the test, I hope it will help you to sort out all things before the real thing starts. I will also join the contest, I think it will be interesting to "chase goals", I guess I can say that I am a fan of "overs".

Hi KTC! Yes the form is only for testing, the competitions starts next week, you are not gonna miss the first round, im gonna tag everyone when i upload the first real form.
