Where I come from, by the way, we play for fun on streets usually, or fields too shit to be considered good enough for real one. For real football we go to schools (where the fields are equally shitty but have the right dimensions). It doesn't happen anymore though, kids aren't really interested in playing if it's not on their phone now.

Well i dont know if i already said this here on in my real life but i feel for the very first time the football touch their peak and now is starting to lose interest by the youths for the first time in maybe a century, 10 years ago i think it was impossible to see that happening soon, but now..... between the football being super tactic (boring) and the huge increase in e-sports i believe is the first time football have a serious contender.

Did any of you catch yesterday's game between Real and Bayern. It was a beauty for a Tuesday afternoon; I'm really happy that I didn't watch Arsenal, as it was boring as always.

Yes one of the problems to follow Arsenal they made boring games.

Back home, football was always part of boys' life, but there were other sports that shared our attentions (badminton, and what you guys will know as kick volleyball). But yes, even going back every few years, I no longer see it everywhere.

And here where I live now in Europe, for some reason football is socially/culturally different. It is so formal here that you can't just walk in and play with strangers. I tried a couple of times and didn't work haha. I think, the football we knew is going extinct. And I can't say it's a bad thing, my grandfather grew up with rugby and even boxing, and that went out of fashion. We're getting old, amigo.

The difference will be trying to hit one of these that can score 5+, and there are a few to select from. Arsenal is an easy pick but can't do that for example while United can. Which one is better?

I have to be honest and i dont check it yet, so i dont really know. The main factor in this round is maybe to know how much are gonna rotate the players teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona for example.

Damn man i just made my picks for this round and that was really hard, i mean much more harder than i think before doing it. I expect a lot of similar picks in this round but that also open the window for the win of someone who risk more and pick undesirable teams.

Between teams who play in european competitions plus some others with hard games, was really hard to pick.

This round is in sandwich of Champions League matches for some teams, and maybe they will play with mixed squad and rest some players.

Crazy, Bayern Munich have already scored 100 goals this season... what a goal machine this team is.

Bayern Munich is unquestionable, maybe some players will be rotated in preparation for the Champions League but still they can score more goals against the underdogs.

For me Real Madrid could struggle because Girona are underdogs who sometimes make things difficult for opponents... not an option at the moment, decision tomorrow when sending the form.

I've learnt my lessons from the last few rounds before the international break, so I'm making some minute changes to my selections this time around, I didn't avoid any team simply because they're playing in UCL / UEL, every team I didn't pick was solely because I just didn't want them.

Yes is a really big possibilitie to see that happening, for example Real Madrid who plays on Friday i dont know if they are gonna put the regular starters in that game, they know they are far from Barcelona and they lose yesterday in the Champions League against Bayer Munich so they only have that title with real chances and for sure they dont want to give up in Champions League.

I agree with this mechanism (when rotation players show more effective play due to motivation that's why I pikced Real Madrid haha), but I still took a risk and excluded Bayern in this round. It seems to me that they are all thinking about only one game now, and the game with St. Pauli could be a sleepy one. Besides, St. Pauli hasn’t yet secured itself from relegation, so they won’t take any risks.

By the way, has everyone noticed that Atletico is the underdog in this round's game against Sevilla?

I had zero thoughts about excluding Bayern because even with Bayern I had hard time to choose 5 teams. Too many tricky games and not so many games against bottom table teams.

Yes, Atletico clearly only cares about the Champions League, which is why we see such paradoxical odds.
Looks like Real Madrid is in the same boat. I thought I got good odds (almost 2x) when the score was 1-1, but in the end, Real Madrid couldn't win. I wonder what they'll do when they can't beat Bayern. It was a disappointing result, the squad was decent, it wasn't like they were playing only reserves.
