I am not supporting Fortunejack here, but to be honest, I think that the reason they don’t undergo advance KYC is that it will cost them additional time and labor work.
If I understood you rightly, are you saying the casino will mandate their user who won to do KYC before withdrawing? This is common on many gambling sites but it is not making any sense. If you make KYC mandatory, you should also let people do the KYC before they can be able to deposit.

KYC are processed manually at many casinos; hence, the work load for them will increase.
I thought FortuneJack is not a small betting site. Are you saying they are small betting site? This is common on some well known gambling sites. People do have issue with such gambling site in a way they will be able to deposit but not able to withdraw

They also don’t know whether the user will make a big deposit or not; hence, they don’t want to waste the time and labor on doing KYC verification. If the user makes some shady moves while betting, or if they want to find the source of the deposit, then only they will ask for the KYC. So, OP, if you don’t have any issues with either of the conditions, then deposit, and if they ask for KYC, then go for the process. It’s very simple and easy.
If they make KYC mandatory, these are not excuses not to make the user do KYC before depositng money. In a well regulated gambling sites, all users must get verified before they can deposit.

KYC has literally taken over this board these days within this forum in a mostly negative manner. I see KYC threads and posts everywhere currently.

Anyway, coming to the topic on hand, I do find it strange that FJ aren't willing to process his KYC in advance, but abandoning this site just because of this issue doesn't make much sense either. Op needs to rethink his decision basically.

I guess there is something not right about your document or something. Blackjack Fortunejack will tell you the reason your verification was rejected. What is the reason?
You don't get it mate. From the messages in the screenshot it's clear he hasn't started a KYC process. In other words, they have not allowed him to summit any document for KYC and he is requesting to be KYCed before he can deposit the $1k he intends whereas according to the op fortunejack is asking he deposits before he can get KYCed at the point of withdrawal, but the op finds such to be weird.

But what I don't get is why would a casino refuse to KYC their customer when he hasn't done one at any time and now out of his own volition wants to be KYCed?

I stopped playing at FortuneJack casino years ago, their support annoyed me so much that I closed that window and never opened them again. The support in many casinos is very bad, sometimes in order to solve things you need to send an email to an admin who will look and solve the matter... it is slower, but much more efficient.

This is the first time I've heard of a casino refusing to verify their player, even when KYC is optional most casinos have that option for additional levels of verification.

so yeah sorry fortune jack, i will go somewhere else
i really find this behavior weird.

You can find a few crypto casinos with mandatory KYC here in the gambling section. I understand that you wish to be safe, but if you decide to try some crypto casinos where KYC is not mandatory you will be pretty much safe as well. Check the gambling section and most of the casinos are trustworthy, and you can see which ones are not.

Good luck!

I do find it kind of weird that they'd reject a KYC verification when the gambler themselves is the one requesting it. I wonder what their reason is for rejecting your request to undergo KYC.

I am not supporting Fortunejack here, but to be honest, I think that the reason they don’t undergo advance KYC is that it will cost them additional time and labor work. KYC are processed manually at many casinos; hence, the work load for them will increase.

I don't understand why the casino doesn't create an account verification function within the casino, where anyone who logs into their casino account, clicks on the verification section, enters all real data and uploads documents and waits for approval or rejection. In this way, the casino is giving people the option to choose whether they want to do KYC early or when required. I don't see it as a good attitude for the casino to not give people the option to do KYC before depositing money and forcing them to do so.

In my case, I did KYC at stake.com because I believe it is better to do KYC before depositing money and playing. I have accounts at other casinos, but I stopped using them because I haven't done KYC yet, I feel lazy. but when I want to deposit money again in other casinos to play in them, I will do KYC first and then deposit money to avoid having headaches like depositing money, playing and winning and then they ask me for KYC and when I do KYC they reject it and my funds are stuck in the casino forever

Asking for KYC in advance is a weird practice, is the first time I see a user trying it. But I feel like every casino should let their users to KYC their accounts before making a deposito, that way the user will build trust.

Maybe other casino let you do it, you should try with the most popular casinos.

its not weird im sorry but in france u do kyc first
and in the philippines its same

and believe me i never had any issue with this local licenced casinos
i prefer doing the kyc first, show all proof of money and residency etc now before i win money and start to being require some weird documents

we dont have the same standards sorry

If the casino want to scam you even if you ask KYC upfront they will still hit you. Doing KYC cannot guarantee any safety of the user since anytime the bad casino could able to pull off their selective scamming if they have reputation doing that on their past costumers.

So maybe don't give yourself a stress for asking KYC since just wait if they ask you to do it. Its nice to see that you are willing to comply on a KYC process so maybe you just need to prepare when Fortunejack ask you to do KYC.

But anyways its your choice what makes you comfortable then go for it.

Also it will be nice for a casino to allow user to request upfront KYC since that means they are committed on their casino.

Some casino only use KYC when they found something suspicious on user account. I remember reading this from casino representatives in the forum.

You will encounter same problem even if you pass KYC in advance or later if your account shown something that will trigger KYC. So if you win big while your account is already KYC, your account will still undergo investigation that will result to temporary account freeze until the investigation was done.

KYC doesn’t guarantee that your account will be automatic dodge the investigation. This is a bullshit belief.

Sounds like you're in complicated situation, it's true that most casino don't ask KYC in advance only after you request withdrawals for a certain amount. While your concern is somewhat reasonable but you can't force a casino to change its policy regarding KYC. So either you follow them (asking KYC) or change casino at the very least.

You're right and here's the important part:

OP is aware that there are sometimes problems with KYC. He wants to do KYC early so that he won't be scammed after winning a few grand.
Casino doesn't want to do KYC before withdrawal and I know why. They hire people to handle sensitive data and these people are paid either by account or  hourly, so doing KYC for OP will cost the casino some money. They don't want to do it for a client that may never deposit anything.

This thread should serve as a warning. Fortunately we have many casinos on the market, competing. If FJ doesn't want to do this, maybe others will. Those who need that kind of service should go somewhere else and maybe casinos willing to take care of them will post in this thread to get some customers. If I were a community manager I surely would do that.

He wants to do KYC early so that he won't be scammed after winning a few grand.
Not getting scammed.

But just don't want to face some case with (KYC) things, some casinos use tactics to the request (KYC) to the user. It's to buying some times + might be the user cannot passed the KYC and they cannot withdraw the money.

Usually people in (Europe) or some country are not from Asia can easily passed these, because the people have really good supported document. But third country, while most of people can living in their home parent, not paying any bills, etc are gonna to struggle or cannot passed KYC level 3/4.

@OP just aware these situation, and want to do "go big or go home". He just don't want facing big win + getting triggered KYC and waiting so long to process (I guess the reason why he want to do these, could be he have some experience for these one in some casino).

You have tried to do something that you think is good for yourself, especially to prevent the casino from cheating you if you win a very large amount of money. But FJ refuses to accept your KYC early because they only do it for a specific reason, so the good thing to conclude is that FJ is not for your current needs. Of course you can try playing at other casinos that suit your needs, but even this does not completely prevent you from being cheated by the casino.

If the casino wants to prevent you from withdrawing funds, then they will find a reason why you cannot withdraw them. At the very least they will ask for more documents or facial verification, perhaps they will even conclude that you violated the ToS. So don't take FJ's rejection of not accepting your KYC as a red flag to other users, it could be wrong.

so i have account in fortunejack since years
never did kyc
deposit and withdra  few times but im negative in this account
i want to re deposit around 1k so i ask them to do my lyc now and so everything will be ok
i know fortune jack is pretty famous and looks legit
but i want to avoid any issue

so there is the answer i get just few minute away
im sorry but i find this ridiculous
from my country kyc is mandatory before betting, and it should be the norm everywhere
but i get it if i win too much they will ask kyc and more shitty documents like cloudbet and others did to me in the past

so yeah sorry fortune jack, i will go somewhere else
i really find this behavior weird.

This is ridiculous and a weird behavior indeed, I have account on fortunejack but I've never deposited into it, let alone playing on that casino, and though they seem to be one of the top online casinos around, trusted by many actually, I personally as well to find their unacceptance of passing kyc in advance really ridiculous.

I signed up on stake several years ago, I wasn't even ready to play on the site but simply decided to just sign up, I immediately same day went to my profile area and went through the kyc verification process, and I was verified within a couple hours after submitting my ID document, this was several weeks before I ever thought of making my first deposit and playing on the casino.

Fortune jack should really reconsider this rule of not allowing users to pass kyc in advance, else, they gonna lose some important customers really.

I even find it wird that a casino will not allow customers to pass KYC upfront, even upon request. In my own opinion, KYC should not only be requested by the casino after a customer have won a huge amount of money and tries to withdraw it.
Even if it's  not made compulsory before deposit, at least casino should make their KYC available and let customers decide if they want to do their KYC before gambling or not.

There have been too much drama with some casinos, they don't quickly verify customers KYC after the customer have won a huge amount and I believe that it is such kind of drama that OP is trying to avoid, so he want to get his KYC verified before gambling.  Stake.com allows customers to pass their KYC after registration on the casino.

They have their own rules, so just bear with it. And KYC could sometimes be used by scammers, but FJ has a good reputation in the crypto space. Besides, nothing will change even if you have already passed the KYC but your violation is not related to KYC, and it has the consequence of closing your account. So KYC can't do anything to prevent that. If you are not comfortable, yes, just look for another casino. But I have one request: if you find a casino that allows you to complete KYC in advance, let us know here.

-snip-
so yeah sorry fortune jack, i will go somewhere else
i really find this behavior weird.
I wanted to attack you initially as though you are one of the foot soldiers sent to attack a rival company when I initially saw "about:blank#blocked" on the posted link, but with the displayed one, oh yes, you have valid proof already. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was not Futunejack, I've read enough from new casinos but this is an unfortunate one to read from Fortunejack that is older.

I don't know the reason on earth that a casino would tell you to pend a lawful act, who knows if these casinos are even law-compliant but just collecting people's data on their own without reporting anything to authorities? Many do not even answer to the law of the country they operate from in terms of regulation as the internet has made that possible for them simply because regulations are weak and they can even manoeuvre them. I wonder what a strong regulator would do if they were indicted in a case like this.

But I have one request: if you find a casino that allows you to complete KYC in advance, let us know here.
Do you even gamble in crypto gambling sites regularly? If you did, you probably wouldn't say this because there are plenty of them who allow their gamblers to complete their KYC in advance.

One example is Stake where they literally make it mandatory for new gamblers to complete KYC right at the beginning before playing excluding old customers obviously.

It's great that OP asked to do this before depositing money. This is how it should be done. You read reviews, the ToS, check the casino's site, if needed contact support for more information and you do all that before sending them money. I've seen so many threads by people who sent money to a casino to find out that they used VPN and that's not allowed and now they can't do KYC and their account is toast.
Since they don't want to do KYC in advance, choose another casino. I wouldn't even include fortune jack in my top 3, so it's not like you're missing out.

If they don't have kyc option then you have to skip but if they have kyc option you could had proceed with your kyc Instead chatting them up for kyc. Like stake.com does, they have kyc level 1 to 5 thereabouts if you are so much afraid of their trouble you can get signed up on stake and continue your kyc before making your deposit of 1k dollars to avoid stories that touches.

You can try Shuffle.com if you want. You just need to click my signature space ad if you want to try shuffle.com. No more typing in your browser.

Anyway like what others say, you can't do anything if FortuneJack don't want you to take KYC in advance.  What surprised me right now is that you didn't take KYC until now, yet you said in your post that your FortuneJack account is more than a year old. I wonder if you made any deposits or ever played on FortuneJack. If not, I think you need to risk a small amount and try to withdraw; in that case KYC might be triggered.
