This is a good comparison. The early buyers have got the edge to make more profit than the new ones that are shrimps to the market and have lesser amount to invest on Bitcoin. But if it's with bulk amounts like more than 0.01BTC, they're part of those investors that are likely to make some profit with a few thousands of move. And just as the stock market, there are a lot of choice there but they've got lesser volatility. The volatility that bitcoin has got will become lesser as time passes by. For the assurance of someone who wants to make money in the long run, Bitcoin is still a good choice as it's the blue chip stock of the whole cryptocurrency market. Also to compare the past prices of Bitcoin, we'll never have an idea on how high it will be.

Still, even with 0.01 BTC, which is a reasonable amount of money (a little over $6,000 at the moment), you can't have exceptional extraordinary expectations from your investment. You might be able to yield $2,000 - $4,000 perhaps in a few years, which isn't bad, but some people have way higher expectations due to the hype with a few pump coins, such as Doge, Siba and plenty of others which managed to yield great returns to a limited number of investors.

Invest in bitcoin or shitcoin but our common goal is to make profit, that's all. It's really bold to say 500% profit guarantee because if you're DCA-ing Bitcoin, you need to wait at least 7+ years because invested in Bitcoin for 7 years only give 450%~ profit. I'd say 200%-300% profit is more realistic because people usually hold for 4 years.

Just like what we hear from other people, making wealth takes time, it's same to Bitcoin.

I agree with you. Even if Bitcoin drops to $5k, I'll be very happy because it's rather an opportunity to own more. We all should pray that we hold enough cash whenever BTC price falls. What's obvious is that it has a future - a time it could always be above $150k.

It's true that there are some altcoins that can generate a very significant profit for lucky investors, depending on the amount that was invested. Every investor has a different level of knowledge about a particular asset and also the level of risk they can tolerate. For an investor who cannot tolerate the high volatility rate of altcoins and doesn't also have good knowledge about altcoins, the best choice for that investors is Bitcoin. Personally, I see altcoin investment as a 50/50 kind of investment; it's either it profits you or you lose. 

For a newbie that is just starting off their cryoto journey, I don't agree that altcoins should be the first choice unless the person has already acquired very professional knowledge about crypto investment or perhaps if the person has a cryoto expert as a mentor. For just a common newbie who doesn't know anything serious about crypto, if they decide to go with altcoin first, the amount of loss they will get is unmeasurable.

people do just invest in a coin they know very well and a coin they know that can appreciate in value, That is why majority of people both directly for Bitcoin investment instead of any other coins or alternative coins so it is better for you to invest for the one that you know better than the one that you don't know many altcoins today is valueless when you were invest in them some of them do die off after you invested in them that is why many people does not like to invest in Bitcoin that have value after investment will give you more profit than investing in Bitcoin but only different thing is that bitcoin will give you that mind that you must make profit after you left it to stay for long-term

Let's just all agree Bitcoin is not for everyone  , but then again I tend to believe users that believe in this saying think you have to buy one whole Bitcoin at current price which is false and it would hurt ones pocket if this was the mindset!
Slowly but steady wins the race and it's for this reason we have investment strategies such as the Dollar Cost Averaging to absorb any financial stress and get smaller invertors to the top to join the big boys...it's not about how you start the journey but how you get their!!

Personnaly, you are totally wrong with your statement, probably for lack of experience or bad mindset in investing your money. Bitcoin mostly is a long term investment and also a better way to save your money, make transactions and many other features such as gambling without KYC process. You are attacking the hype of Bitcoin in this forum without even knowing the stories and memories inside it.

I will say that Crypto is Bitcoin and the head of it, without Bitcoin crypto wouldn't exist in first place. Most of Alts are short term without any good road maps or clear benefits for the community. Investing in any other coin without studying the real future image of that project you will end up suffering losses.

I have a question, A newbie joining the crypto space, how will the person be able to discover the appropriate altcoins or shitcoins to invest in? I disagree with you that bitcoin is only for the rich. Anyone can invest in bitcoin, no matter how big or small the amount is, you can still invest it in bitcoin. After investing, just have the mindset of holding for a long time, and then you are going to be making money from your bitcoin investment as well.

As compared to bitcoin the risk ratio is very high in shitcoins and Memecoins and in Memecoins you can loose all of your asset while on the other hand investments with bitcoin is safe you can’t loose all of your asset. Price may be drop and you will have to wait for a price to pump again.

Bitcoin is not for everyone It is not true but Bitcoin is not only for those who are ignorant about Bitcoin and have a negative attitude towards Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still at its vegetative state even as it is, given that, it’s yet to see the much of the world’s populace on it. Only a handful of persons have been known to invest in Bitcoin and as such, when the population increases and the demand goes up, the price of Bitcoin as it is would be considered a low.

I could understand that your finance might not be enough to get a whole Bitcoin but, you can get fragments of it and accumulate over time.
