Benfica's new coach is off to a great start. With this crushing victory against an opponent that wasn't very open, Benfica fans are starting to have hope that they can dream of the title. But with Sporting, who seem to have goal-scoring machines, it's hard for a Benfica fan like me to think that we can win the title. Sporting managed to score 19 goals in 5 games, that's scary. Benfica will need to win at least a few more games to convince me to bet on them again.



Benfica's next game will be in the European Champions League, and it will be away from home, but the opponent is not from a very strong league, but they have managed to score a lot of goals in some games. I hope Benfica can also win, because it would be great if they had a good performance in European competitions. Benfica's next opponents in the Portuguese League are also not strong opponents, so at least Benfica can win the next 5 games in the Portuguese League.

That being said, Benfica's result against Santa Clara yesterday was impressive and a good way to prepare for their next game which will a visit to Serbian club FK Crvena zvezda in the UEFA Champions League competition.

Bernfica's win was vey confident, despite that they conceded very early goal on 1st minute, it didn't ruined their game plan. What can't be said about Porto - they scored a goal against Santa Clara, but concededfreom them just after few minutes. They struggled a bit to convert their chances and won just 2:1

Benfica's new Turkish transfer Kerem Aktürkoğlu scored a goal in his first match.
Thanks to the cooperation of the two Turks, Benfica took a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute of the match.
Orkun Kökçü made the assist and Kerem Aktürkoğlu scored the goal.
I hope these two players will continue to score goals and assists.

Turkish fans will follow Benfica more closely because of these two players. Also, Benfica may want to sign more Turkish players because of these two successful players. Portuguese teams are a gateway for the Premier League. Footballers who are successful in the Portuguese League receive more transfer offers. If Kerem Aktürkoğlu continues to score goals and provide assists for a few more weeks, he can become an indispensable part of the team and receive transfer offers from bigger teams in Europe. In his last 3 seasons in Turkiye, he finished with an average of 10 goals & 10 assists. I believe he can do the same in the Portuguese League.

Sorry, the title is not going to be for neither Benfica nor FC Porto this season because Sporting Lisbon would win the league and take the title. To know the club that would be the winner of a league can easily be known sometimes but not most times. This season is another reason of the sometimes. Also let us see Benfica perform good in two or three other matches before we conclude but Benfica played better and excellently in the match against Santa Clara.

Benfica managed to get 3 more points at home, with this gain Benfica still can't get into the top 3 because currently they are in 5th place with 10 points, there is Famalicao with the same number of points and a distance of 2 points from Porto and Vitoria SC. To be able to compete with Sporting, I think it's quite difficult, because currently Sporting is at their highest motivation to win back the Portuguese League title, talking about the match against Santa Clara, I was surprised that Angel Di Maria was still able to cook there with 1 goal .

No doubt about few things with we just finished 5 rounds and 29 rounds left in this season, but few teams are having no depth to challenge leaders Sporting who is having flying start and win all games without any big challenge 19 goals scored by them Gyokeres having 8 goals and Goncalves following him with 4 goals it's all indicating they are perfect side for staying at the top and having another title without any problem.

In another game, we have defeat for the Braga with the score of 0–2 as in second half we have red-card which bring more mess-up and things gone from bad to worse now in last 2 games they are having no goal score 2 goals concede mean situation is clearly not favourable for them to have top three spots in near future.

Hehehe, it's too early to draw any conclusions as to who will be champions, as only five matches have been played
But Sporting are the favorites I agree, the continuation of last season's work is very good, with Gyökeres scoring a lot of goals right from the start

We have to remember that Sporting will be playing in the Champions League, and it could be very difficult for the team, theoretically the opponents will be tougher and there could be some fatigue from the round of 16 onwards
But again, it was a nice start of Sporting in UCL too

Sporting vs  AVS

Sporting Lisbon will continue to win for now. AVS Futebol SAD played two away matches and lost in both matches. This is the upcoming match that I am most confident about this week in Portugal Primeira Liga. The match will be won by Sporting Lisbon as expected. No one will fell disappointed about this match.

Is it worth the risk to bet on Porto winning or would a draw be better?

When I checked their H2H, out of the last 10 matches both clubs played with themselves, Vitoria de Guimaraes lost 9 while FC Porto won 9. Vitoria de Guimaraes won just one but which was on April of this year. No draw at all in the last 10 matches. FC Porto is not that bad but Vitoria de Guimaraes is playing good this season. In fact, it has played two home matches and won it. I do not like to bet on this type of match when there are other better matches that I can select.

I think Porto has what it takes to win. But I see the probability of a draw being high.

There is no doubt it's going to be one of the interesting matches of this weekend with Porto is having good time just lost against Sporting CP in five games mean things are on target for them, and they can go through for win in this game but Vitoria Guimaraes is also doing good job in early part of this season and having four wins specially against Braga on road and Famalicao at home is moral booster for them, and they can go through for better result even Porto is having good advantage and try to have full three points.

Here surely I like to take risk with these both teams for my money as odds are @2.42 for the Porto and Benfica wins.

Nice. It was a good match for FC Porto but normally FC Porto is stronger, just that Vitoria de Guimaraes also started good. It was a good odd but I did not bet on the match mostly because it is not a home match for FC Porto. But anyone that uses H2H for the prediction would have gone for FC Porto and it won again. In the last 11 matches both clubs played together, FC Porto won 10 matches, Victoria de Guimaraes won 1 match. No draw between them.

I know this, that the odd for Sporting will be reduced. It is now reduced so significantly. 1.08 is too small. This is a match worth going for but someone should not turn it as an habit because any match can become a lost match. That odd is too small for me, I will prefer first half win which is around 1.36 odd. Although, it is worth knowing that I lost two of such matches in parley bet last week.

Maybe this guy didn't had amazing club career, but we usually remember about him once in 4 yearsduring World Cup when he is doing phenomenal things for Mexican team.
Now there is last game this round between Boavista and Benfica.

Now there is last game this round between Boavista and Benfica.

Ochoa is an excellent goalkeeper, and it's incredible how well he's playing for Mexico, you can feel that he's giving 100% to the national team 
He's probably in his last few seasons though, he's 39 after all 

Sporting are still incredible, and so is Gyökeres, two more goals in the victory of 3x0 against AVS
I think he could be Europe's top scorer this season

Yes Benfica got very good win especially in the last two matches with win in the UCL match and also today against Boavista with landslide score of 3 goal without reply, in today match I was impressed with the play of Orkun Kokcu and Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu who contributed greatly to Benfica victory.
I did not bet on this match but congratulations on your victory, what is clear is that today victory is very important for Benfica and they won 3 full points to stay in to be able to maintain narrow points difference from several other top team.
In the future I waiting and quite curious about the next UCL match that will be played against Atletico Madrid because of course this is match that is not easy for Benfica and if they manage to win again or at least end in draw by sharing points then that is success for Benfica because they can perform consistently.
