Why didn't the neiro team send the neiro to the burning address instead?

i've heard this news in twitter as well and people are mad . isn't sending their neiro to certain address like the one owned by vitalik akin to giving him ownership of the token for free and also giving him the rights to dump it?

seeing the scene of meme coin so far, I've always baffled with how the meme coin team keep sending their meme coin to some popular figure wallet or even crypto influencers and have surprised pikachu face when they are dumping the meme coin like bruh, you can do better .

They can use his name to advertise the token by saying he is a holder, while also removing billions of tokens from circulation. It did not play out the way they expected and he dumped on them. I know that NEIRO team has tried to send some tokens to Vitalik's address as a way to draw awareness from the public. It's no surprise if he decides to sell these free tokens to fulfill his needs.

It was a smart move by Vitalik Buterin and the developers of NEIRO meme coins. The developer used the popularity of Buterin to gain attention and it has worked for them. The price of the tokens dipped around 60% after the news that Buterin had dumped 17.1 billion NEIRO meme coins but the value of Neiro increased 200% after the dump.

As I've seen, they did it themselves (transferred to Vitalik's wallet). Then again, it's the market, and the project founders are at risk there, as it wasn't coordinated properly (or it was, depending on what to believe in). The news behind this ordeal will pump it nevertheless, in my opinion.

Although I might be wrong, I doubt if Vitalik was contacted before the coins were transferred to him. It could also be possible that it was a business deal between both parties. Anyway, both parties have made a good profit.

I think the Neiro development team thought that Vitalik might do the same thing to their project as Vitalik did to Shiba Inu in the previous cycle, but in fact Vitalik sold Neiro's toke for his own benefit.

haha he did get free money from Neiro developers, and the negative effect on Neiro itself was because Vitalik sold it instead of burning it or making it a charity.
Supposedly, if you want to give charity, why not just burn the token instead of giving it away like that, of course this has received criticism from many communities for the actions taken by the Neiro meme coin developer.

I'm not surprise on the action he do since that's profit already. If he want to sell then be it since for sure he also need money. As long as he do that on meme coin then I don't see any problem for dumping those tokens. Since for sure it will be a huge waste if the dev will be the one who sell first since we know rug pull is normal on meme coin scene.

If they are triggered with the action made by Vitalik then they can't do anything with it since for sure anyone will decide to sell especially if this is given to them.

So lesson in this story is don't hold meme coin since they might lose their money with those tokens.

It’s a free shitcoin thou, Vitalik has no legal obligation to hold this coin since this meme coin owner is just using Vitalik address to hype their project  by claiming Vitalik is a holder. Many meme token is using this scheme since Vitalik address is known to the public.

It’s not that Vitalik ask for it. This is the reason why people should avoid meme coin since the founder is using people money as exit liquidity through marketing expenses and team personal cashout using meme coins.

Why would he buy meme-tokens? Have you ever heard him buying any. People have given them for him give it to him because it's a good advertisement. "Look, even this OG whale is holding our token, he must see the value in it", even though he famously dumped those meme tokens before. Shiba even got fame for that, because they (as a community) are indirectly participated to one of the biggest charity funding out there that i've ever heard ($1 billion worth).

If i recollect correctly, over 10 years ago someone donated 20M doge accidentally and got people donating more as a support. They also got fame for doing that.

Excellent! Memecoins have no value and no vision. These are mostly run by scamsters. So it's an excellent move by Vitalik. Being a known crypto developer, a lot of these altcoin owners send coins to him thinking it will become a good promotion for them. So Vitalik has done the best possible thing he could do. Sold them all and added some more ETH to his own wallet.

He's new, but that's how it was immediately raised within less than 2 weeks of his release from the market. It seems that there are whales who are really manipulating its price. Now I only see two things: either Vitalik was given neiro or he really invested here. But it sold for a lot of money. I can't even say that he has potential because right now it seems to be hyped, and I haven't seen anything that really has potential in the future.

I just confirmed this news from many reliable sources and it's more reason why we should not rely on what these popular investors are doing, they can lure us to adopt a project but suddenly abandon it and leave us to lose.
