How to avoid stress in a market crash

I once heard it on some youtube podcast where a guy (don't remember who that was) said that checking the price of bitcoin every day is like checking the price of your house. It won't change anything and you will only lose time and possibly start to wonder if there's something wrong with the house since yesterday it was worth more than it is today.

Leave watching the candles to traders. If you don't have any money on exchanges you won't be able to react to these pumps and dumps anyway. It took about 30 min for the price to pump from 86 to 88k and another 30 for it to go down from 88 to 85. Only traders care about these moves and only they are able to react. In fact it's them who make it all happen. If holders and users (people who buy and sell bitcoin when they really spend it) were the only ones here, we'd rarely see bitcoin move by 1%.

100% true, unnecessarily checking price is also unhealthy, just add more mental burden to ourselves.
people need to learn to sleep on market crash, because eventually market will recover, most veterans already understand that if market crash and they have big exposure in it, they can just sleep and wake up when market recovered again.
panic sellers don't have unlimited bag to dump, always remember at some point that when people are running out of BTC they want to dump to the market, demand will outweigh the supply and price become normal again.

I do not argue about the matter and attitude of someone to face stress when the Bitcoin market is plummeting, all of us have different views and different ways in overcoming the market situation when falling.

But I personally prefer to control emotional in me and I tends to speculate in a positive direction like that method at least I am not panicked to accept the reality when I see the market Falling, I don't need to panic to blame the application and the internet, but in my positive speculation of the future market development.

The best way for me to relieve stress during market crashes like now is to;

• Stopping all price update notifications
• Deleting exchange apps (if you have them on an exchange)
• Not playing too much on the internet

• Keeping myself busy doing physical activities

1. I have tested this out but once you do have that trading or investment addiction then you would be just that turning it on. 
2. How many times i have done this but ending up on getting tired on making log ins and inputting those verification codes. lol
3. Most people are now on their phones and this is why this is something inevitable.
4. Recommended but not all the times we do have some real world activities or chores to make. When you arent that busy then your mobile phone will be your best buddy.
5. This is why im doing on which trying out to divert my attention with some physical activities that will disrupt my mind and emotions on making that revenge trading once i have closed a position or cutting loses.

Emotional aspect is something that cant be learn in a short time period when you do trade. It will be slowly or gradually develops as you do gain up that experience but there were people who are
rushing up themselves on learning on which is why it do ends up on making some impulse move. Stress is something we can say that its inevitable because when you do saw your portfolio is on deep negative then you will be trying out to cut your loses but actually there's no point on doing this when you are on a spot position, but if you are doing futures with higher leverage then that will be a total blown up of account.

You are right, I agree with your assumption. Many investors claimed to have lost due to the price correction, while they still kept their bitcoins in the same amount. They consider it a loss because the value of their investment has fallen, but they don't sell it and keep it. They lose if they sell, while if they still keep it then they shouldn't lose.

I think that's also true, some sell for monthly needs and other urgent needs. But that is not the characteristic of investors who have a good strategy, I mean they don't have cash reserves that can be used when needed. A good investment approach is when they have cash reserves in addition to having investments, it will obviously help investors manage their investments well.

The thing though is that Bitcoin market is so resilient with this negative news that one everything settles down, the market will go up again and even higher. So our last high was around $89k. So if this market is going to bounce back, it will be around $90k. So there's nothing to be stressed of this market, we all gonna see that we will recover and we still have many months ahead of us to go back to 6 digits and established a new all time high again.

Since the tariff war began, the crypto market has lost over $1 trillion in market capitalization and stocks have lost over $9 trillion. I don't think people would need that much money just to pay bills.

Not to mention, not only are the financial markets extremely gloomy, economists are also constantly warning that our economy could fall into recession because of Trump's tariff war. He is a financial investor, I would be surprised if he is stupid enough not to know about the hot news spreading all over social media.

The thing though is that Bitcoin market is so resilient with this negative news that one everything settles down, the market will go up again and even higher. So our last high was around $89k. Like 2018, the tariff war is a short-term event that will end one day. While there may be negative effects in the short term, there is nothing to worry about in the long term. It is even a great opportunity to buy cheap goods if someone knows how to take advantage of it.

Stress will only cause panic that leads to inappropriate actions. But many also end up panicking when the value of assets in their portfolio decreases, even though we have planned for the long term but sometimes human nature gives some pressure.

Only those who are truly optimistic about Bitcoin, and who fully believe in its true potential, can maintain their self-control during times of volatility by maintaining a long-term perspective, and refrain from selling. You will feel panic when you do not truly understand Bitcoin.

Honestly I can't be stressed when it comes to a market crash but there's a way some people react to things especially things pertaining money, when they observe there's no profits coming forth, they start panicking and thinking of backing out or even remove all of their funds from where it is. But regardless when experience such situations i don't go on deleting my exchange apps but instead what i do is face the reality and get myself busy with some other activities that will occupy me and relieve me of the stress.

We often want to see Bitcoin at a much lower price, a price that we would basically regard as the deep but even then, we don’t want to see our portfolio reduce in value. If anyone is afraid that their portfolio will decline after investing in cryptocurrencies then  they should reconsider their investments, as they are not the type of person who can invest in these volatile markets. Agreed. The first thing to do to avoid stress when prices drop is to control your emotions and think positively about the assets you have as a stress reliever when prices drop. In addition, when prices drop there is not much we can do, looking at market prices every day or not looking will not change anything. So it is better to think positively, actually if we have confidence in the assets we have, especially bitcoin, we know that prices will definitely go up again, the price drop is just a momentary turmoil, when the storm passes we will make a profit.

Thinking positively is the best thing to do when prices are falling, even with positive thinking not only can we control stress, we can also take advantage of falling prices as an opportunity to get more. Indeed, thinking positively is not easy, therefore we need to study the assets we have in detail, starting from the fundamentals and others so that we feel optimistic about the assets we have.

Simple as that but many people always putting too much attention into what's happening now as if they want to sell their asset at low price.
