I was aware from the start that a gambler can never win over the house edge. So, my first idea was to occasionally gamble here and there to try or for fun. Fast forward to 2020, I lost all of the bankroll I had plus all of the crypto balance I had plus my bank savings. It started with small bet on a site and kept on increasing as I went raging. When I lost all balance in a site, I moved to another and bet all at once losing all of it at once. Similarly I kept losing and even if I won, I wanted to get by everything I lost and lost it again. That night I was in shock and slept but the next day it all felt like a dream. I woke up and checked my bank balance and I realized where I am. I went into severe anxiety and fell sick for a week with fever and diarrhea. If it was not for a person (who didn't knew I gambled) knew I was in trouble and took things on their hand, I might have died of anxiety. After that incident, I have became a much responsible gambler. I might have occasionally raged and lost balance on some sites but I don't carry the rage to others.

When you mean difficult, do you mean you no longer win or your new target is not being met? I think the problem here is your new target which I feel might be bigger than what your strategy would actually profit you during your gambling activities. What  you should do to confirm this is to go back to your old target, which according to your was profitable. And see if you can still meet them. The whole thing works using psychology. You have to see it from the bigger pictures. Right now your target might be too big for how you play or the amount you increased. So just see if you can get some wins from your old target once more.

I think your level of activeness in gambling has increased your expectations, and since your expectations are now cut short, it then gives you a different feeling of unsatisfaction. Sometimes your expectations makes you forget that this is gambling, and there is a high level of probability, which has been declouded by expectation. So you noticed that hence there is less expectation and less concentration you tend to win more, than when you increase your expectations. I feel it's a mindset thing, so the only way to get a win on this, is to reduce your target expectations, play each game with the mindset that anything can happen, trust me you will see things differently.

Pure luck for me, luck is not based on how much you are putting into every bet you make.

Not unless if you are doing something that maybe some psychological issues like you are more serious when the amount you are betting is very high, it could affect your gambling decision (depending on the game you are playing), because sometimes if we don't mind the amount we bet, we just go with the flow and let the luck play with it.

This can happen with anyone, winning big at first and then losing or losing right from the start.

It is gambling, you are leaving your money in the hands of luck and you will get unlucky at some point. The casinos are there to paint the image that you can make money from gambling while in reality the only loser in the casino is the player. You are increasing the money involved which means the difficulty on recovering them when you are at loss will be difficult too same to the profit you can get if you won with huge bet. The only difference was there’s a limit on your bankroll for losses while profit is limitless that’s why it’s seems very hard to win to the point that you are satisfied compared to losing due to your limited bankroll.

Winning few dollars is obviously much easier than winning 1000$ or more profit due to your bankroll limitations. Just use a bankroll in proportion to your bet size always to make your gaming scaling properly.

That’s the point you get people telling you about gambling algorithm that’s let’s the casino win while the gambler keeps losing but nevertheless, from your point, the major reason for your bet increment is solely because you want to be a millionaire from gambling with small repeated amounts on stakes and this time as compared to when the winnings were massive for you, I guess you gambled with more extreme caution and possibly more emotionally as to wanting to win at all cost and possibly leading to chasing after losses which must have been done unintentionally (try redressing your past and you’ll get to see these things I’m saying) all of this leads to losses and I’m glad you already realized yourself and I hope you only gamble the amount you can afford to lose.

If you think gambling is easier in the beginning, then try to gamble with high amount of money instead of gambling with small amount of money. But, if you didn't win, then it's clear that gambling is full of luck.

Don't put the blame on the casino or the games, that's childish excuses.

With gambling you can't become rich. this is the first rule of gambling
Moreover, you must play unless you really understand what you're doing (so playing a kind of gambling that allow people to use some skills).
If you're playing for making money, you must understand that is like a "real job". that requires many hours of study, a lot of investments, passions, skills and so on. Only at this point you will realize and understand how to earn from gambling and not before this step.

Probably your luck was based just on "randomness". Results will pop up even casually. It's not to predict all results since there are many factors that must be take in account.

Your gambling experience is the same as when one wants something more to life; they begin to navigate from how they live their normal to a more desperate life to make riches by any means possible. At times, once in one life, the habit of wanting more for the simple things we do steps in. It's either we fall to it, or not.

OP, what I explained above is what happened to you. You want more from gambling. You are not longer okay with the simple winning you have been having from gambling. That's the mistake most gamblers make, which leads to their addiction to gambling.

Isn’t it because you are lucky or just experiencing beginner's luck? Most of the time, people get hooked by that, and more and more, as a gamble, you realize it’s different every time you play. You need to be more aware of what you are doing and see the differences you might have encountered from the previous time you played.

Seems I experienced this situation when I was playing slots and roullette when my bets was lower I had this few good wins but when I increased it consecutive losses followed I don't understand if it was due to the algorithm or what but it's really not good especially when we try to chase. There's always a high chance of winning when it isn't done under pressure or desperation, beginners luck is a general experience for everyone new to gambling, you make a profits from small amounts and after a while you decide to stake high due to the confidence you have developed in the game but this is where everything might start taking a different turn...when I started playing sports betting and casino games I was making huge profits from small stakes but when I started staking increasing my stake I lost a lot of money

As some others have mentioned, we have no idea what type of gambling you're discussing here.  Are you talking about playing poker, or perhaps roulette, or are you potentially talking about sports betting?  Pretty difficult to say or provide any guidance without knowing the answer to these questions. 

Keep in mind anyone can go on a win streak, and often times it just comes down to luck.  So more than likely, that was the case.  Gambling isn't easy for anyone, and it's not a get rich quick scheme.

Sometimes setting targets can be a reason you may not gamble properly because you are not in the best frame of mind and your psychology, will be messed up such that you are going to be tensed at some point due to the fact that you are trying to meet up with your target but when you are gambling without having such  in mind, you are most likely going to just gamble at ease because you are not stressing to meet with a target.

Gambling should be mainly for fun and entertainment and not targeting and the mind to making some money off it so you will be able to enjoy it as much as possible and make the bets off it. making adjustments when you make certain observations is very necessary because it will help shaping your gambling and help you with achieving the kind of results you are willing to get at every point in time.
