I’m mrjoy15, and I received a red tag from Avirunes over an allegation of cheating in a giveaway with alt accounts. After some explanation, he changed the tag to neutral. This whole situation has been really tough for me as I have been very devastated those days I man till today. I reached out to LoyceV to try and fix my mistake, but unfortunately, our conversation didn’t go well, and I was the only responsible for that. At the time, I wasn’t as professional as I should have been, so I apologize for that. I kindly ask you to overlook my inexperience during that time.

This is my public request to LoyceV, as he suggested I do this finally. LoyceV, I really admire you, and if you feel it's fair, I would appreciate it if you could remove the negative tag from my account.

The negative tag on my profile isn’t for cheating his giveaway but for asking for positive feedback. I believe I can explain myself better, just like I did with Avirunes. So, I humbly ask LoyceV to reconsider. It was an honest mistake, but unfortunately, it has affected my profile. I never meant to leave out the part where I asked LoyceV for positive feedback. I take the blame for that slip/mistake and and promise to be more careful in the future. All I ask for is a second chance to prove I can be a better and more focused user. I don't see any reason why I would intentionally break the rules again.

I apologize for the mistake and hope the forum can give me another chance. I wanted to post this publicly before but hesitated, fearing it would be a bad move. I’m finally sharing this to see how the community reacts.

You can check my trust history for a better understanding. I’ve never denied having alt accounts, and I didn’t lie about using them. It was an incident where I wasn’t focused because I was trying to increase my post count.

I don't see you admitted if you having alt accounts, there's no post after you get caught.

If you was trying to increase your post count, why you delete the @BitcoinExpart's post? it's more like you want to hide your mistake and run away from it.

Never denied and didn't lie of using alt accounts is different to admitting if you did use alt accounts.

cheated on his giveaway is the first wickedness mentioned in the feedback. So I think both are included in the reason LV flagged you (looks like you have to ask for forgiveness twice for that one tag instead of once).

You might think signature managers are careless for accepting me despite my trust history, but I believe they’re smart enough to choose their participants wisely. I have no intention of joining signature campaigns just for the sake of it, as you might think. I’m ashamed of my past actions, and I’m sharing this to express my regret and find some relief from it.

Based on my understanding, asking for positive feedback is just 1 of 3 reasons for the tag/feedback.

It my DM to you that you may consider my appeal as yours kindness mind. It's me who not like others continuously breaking forum rules after receiving a warning. And that's exactly why I want this to be in public. I don't do favours, and my feedback is still true.
If you want me to reconsider, you know my conditions. If you get more red trust, that's a risk you'll have to take. It doesn't help your case that you haven't posted anything since red trust kicked you off bounty campaigns.

Never ever ask someone to leave positive feedback for you. Usually the opposite will happen. The other person has to decide to leave you green trust themselves.

As you all know, my English was pretty broken in the past, so I struggled to express myself clearly. About asking for positive feedback, it was an accident, not something I did on purpose.
Kindly get the story: Avirunes changed my red tag to neutral, and few months passed, I had no red tag on my account from him. Then, I decided to DM LoyceV. Noted that I didn’t have any tag from him when I messaged him so no point asking positive feedback. My goal was to apologize and convince him, just like I did with Avirunes. I reached out after a long time to show him that I had changed and ask him to review my posts and activities. I had already given up my other alt account and promised never to use it again.
Think about it—why would I ask for positive feedback when I didn’t even have a tag from him at that point? He blacklisted me from his giveaway, and I was just asking for a chance, having given up my alts and promised to follow the rules.

Having been on the forum for several years and often having to deal with the search for alternative accounts, I realized one thing: people with alternative accounts will never leave this forum on their own. What do I mean? Seven years have passed. Do you seriously think that anyone will believe you that now you only care about this one account from which you write? And you have not opened other, new accounts during all this time? You keep your password for seven years, and suddenly one day you decide to restore your reputation?

You know, some people have a contradiction; when they are told not to, they do everything on purpose. If someone previously had two accounts, after red tags they create five.

Ok, so after reading and checking the trust I have a few things that concern me.

1. is it confirmed he is BitcoinExpart?
2. You were told in 2018 to make this thread and decided against it. Why now? You had no choice then, but refused.
3. How do we know this account hasn't changed hands?
4. What if the trust was removed but you couldn't join sig campaigns for 5 years? I assume that's your only motivation for this topic as do others.


With the above concerns, it's hard for anyone to consider changing the tag. If you are indeed an alt and tried or did cheat in a contest/gievaway, then I would never remove the tag and I wouldn't expect LoyceV to either.

Concern 2 I understand a little as it sounds like you might live in a 3rd world culture full of corruption and fear controls your life. Which explains your fear for other DT here even though most of us aren't that bad nor corrupt.

Concern 3 is a big 1. Considering this is a 7 year total case and account sales run rampant on this forum or did in the past due to sig campaigns paying so much, the motivation is there for a new owner to go through pm history and trust history and figure out how to get trust removed. Maybe that's the reason for your change of heart in saying it's never to late to start. Without being able to prove this account didn't change hands, it would be hard to remove the trust as we don't know if you are the same person.

Concern 4 is a probably something you'd never agree to either way.

If it was me, I would leave the red and not worry about it. Too much time has passed and too many unknowns.

Did you forget what positive reviews are? This is someone’s judgment for crying out loud and it is directives unto the many users that are out here. You don’t do that, you just don’t.

If you were tagged. The most you could have done at OP is to ask for a review with reasons why you feel you deserve this review and be considered if possible. The OP still has that address in his profile, and it's the same address he posted in this unedited post in August of 2016.  Since the red-tag was received before the implantation of the Merit system and the subsequent lack of earned merit, it's unlikely the account has any value for a buyer.  There also doesn't seem to be any change in posting style or the quality of English.

I don't get this.  Of course he wants to join a sig campaign, but so do many of us.  I'm wearing one, you're wearing one, anyone who could would if they were to be accepted.  There's nothing wrong with the desire to join a sig campaign.  The OP's post history doesn't inspire much confidence in his ability to land a position on a campaign, but that's up to the managers to decide.

If someone PM me to ask for positive feedback the best you're getting is Pm-ignore or forum-ignore. Red is too much IMO. Personally I would reconsider.

I support the position that beginners can make mistakes out of ignorance, if they do not have the best understanding of a foreign language, this kind of "misunderstanding" can easily occur.
However, it's one thing when you send a PM, you get a reply, but despite that, you continue to be bombarded with private messages. Some basic things that even beginners need to understand easily. The prize question is why it took the OP 7 years to listen to LoyceV and start this topic.

If there is a need for an opinion and a suggestion on how to act in this case, I would suggest LoyceV look at the history of mrjoy15's posts and if he concludes that mrjoy15 is a useful member ^{or it can be} of this forum and has made even a small contribution, I would consider changing the feedback from red to neutral.

I think you're right, the ones who aren't good at English language often make such mistakes. Drop a positive might be his try to convince LoyceV that he's now a changed person and he's not going to break any rules but men that's not the right way to admit your mistakes.

I know sometimes when you want to have a second chance then it's always better to send a PM to have mutual agreement but it's not the right way to ask someone to drop a positive as most people consider that quite odd because in OP situation anyone would consider that as a request for positive trust feedback.

It would be much better for OP to start a reputation thread back then to admit his mistakes instead of sending LoyceV those private messages. Let's say if we believe for a second that OP wasn't intending to ask for a positive trust feedback then why he said that Drop a positive?

If he said that because he wanted LoyceV to change his negative trust feedback to neutral but mistakenly used word positive because of his lack of understanding of English language then that's still okay but if he intended to turn the negative feedback to a positive one then that was another mistake that OP did.
