Last weekend was insane, can someone explain how in the world AEK lost from Panseraikos and Olympiakos from Asteras Tripolis? I was never expecting such a twist, this shows that you cannot trust the matches that seem "guaranteed" to win, but still, I'm having a hard time believing it actually happened. Were the matches fixed or something?

Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised to see OFI win against PAOK in Toumba, I chose draw on this one, so it didn't turn as I was expecting. My only win was Aris vs. Panathinaikos, which ended in a draw.

I was a bit inactive from the football and gambling scene the past two weeks due to extremely limited time, but hopefully it'll be better from now on. Posting the upcoming weekend's matches.



A few decent matches; I personally going to opt for OFI vs. Lamia, due to OFI being the local team here, and because I believe they have decent chances of winning. AEK vs. Olympiakos is also going to be interesting, I'm unsure if I'm going to place a bet, but I'm leaning towards Olympiakos if I do.

In the meantime, Greece is playing against England in the UEFA Nations League, in which we started on the wrong foot, with England scoring a goal in the 7th minute of the game.

There weren't any matches last weekend to analyze, but this weekend seems to have some decent betting opportunities. The odds aren't too bad in some of the matches I would consider as safe, such as Panathinaikos vs. Panaitolikos, 1.62 is not that bad, I highly doubt Panathinaikos is going to lose, but never say never. The same rule applies to PAOK vs. Asteras, in which I'm more confident on PAOK winning than I am with Panathinaikos. The derby of the weekend remains AEK vs. Olympiakos.

I was also considering OFI vs. Lamia once again, it seems like a tough match that I wouldn't be surprised if it ended in a tie.

Just like how I was predicting, OFI vs. Lamia ended in a tie, leading to a great win (3.15 odds), while the other matches I mentioned and regarded as safe (with relatively low odds of 1.60) went as expected, scoring a great weekend with 3/3 wins. The end result was quite decent, and I'm quite satisfied with how things turned out. I'm posting the upcoming weekend's matches, and I'm intrigued to see OFI vs. Olympiakos. It's going to be an interesting match, even though the scale is tipping against OFI.

As expected, Olympiakos won against OFI with two goals, while Panathinaikos vs. Atromitos ended in a tie, so did PAOK vs. Kallithea, something I wasn't expecting. It's safe to assume that the previous weekend didn't turn out as I was expecting, nor did I fancy most of these matches, thus, I didn't place as many bets as I usually do on a weekend. This weekend has a few matches with decent odds, such as Aris vs. Atromitos (1.95 and 4.0), Asteras vs. Panathinaikos (5.25 and 1.68), and last but not least, OFI vs. AEK, which is going to be interesting and I'm expecting a tie.

I know this thread isn't receiving much attention anymore, but I'll keep updating it as much as I can in hopes of receiving more interest in the future. The previous weekend wasn't that bad, a few wins, but the odds were quite average and didn't yield any major winnings. I expected AEK vs. OFI to end in a tie, but the final score was 2-1; the other matches were more or less how I was anticipating them.

Posting the following week's matches.



Some decent options, but most of them have pretty average odds. I'll see if I get to analyze them tomorrow or on Friday.

Yeah, you are absolutely right, this thread isn't recieving much attention yet, like me too I'm just seeing this thread for the first time. With time if we keep on posting more users will find it interesting too. Greek league is a very interesting one and the thing about Greek league is that it not a one club dominant kind of league. So far this season olympiacos are toping the league with 3points above AEK Athens and PAOK. Olympiacos have lost 2 matches this season in the league and also the second team to score more goals in league with just one goal behind PAOK. I usually picks them amongst my games during weekends and I can say for sure that one option that carrys a huge odd is when these top teams play against the the ones in the bottom half of the table I usually carry them to win and over2.5 and it works for me honestly.

It a good thing I found this thread and I promise you wee see me engaging in conversationa here more often. Thank You for not giving up on this thread.

Thank you for your kind words. The Greek Super league isn't as popular or as interesting as other championships, but I think it's my duty to update this thread as much as possible, since we're talking about my country's league.

Yes, the Greek Super League doesn't have one dominant team, the top four are Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, PAOK and AEK, with the three first ones being the more dominant ones. We still have a long way ahead to judge how the standings will look in the next few months, but the point difference between the top four teams ranges from one to three points more or less.

I've missed posting the odds for this weekend's matches, starting from tomorrow's matchup.



The first match of AEK vs. Lamia has quite low odds, 13.0 for Lamia winning and 1.22 for AEK, there's no way in hell AEK is going to lose this match, or even possibly end in a draw, although it might seem "safe" I don't think it's worth it for such low odds. I have no opinion regarding Volos vs. Asteras Tripolis, the match seems quite balanced, I'd say that a tie is a decent possibility. OFI vs. Atromitos seems quite balanced as teams' performances, but the odds aren't, they're against OFI. 1.88 for Atromitos winning and 4.2 for OFI. OFI has had a few bad matches over the past few weeks, while Atromitos has scored two wins, their difference in points is two.

The other matches of Panathinaikos, Olympiakos and PAOK also offer low odds, as they're relatively "safe" matches, as they're the dominant teams against smaller ones.

AEK Athens takes on Lamia today away from home, it the first match in the Greek league today, Athens have been in an incredible foam so far this season, they have only lost 3 matches so far and all three matches they lost were away from home so that another thing they need that may raise a few eye brows. The good thing about today is that they have Anthony martial back in the squad and he have been in serious foam since his arrival from injury, he has score four goals now in his last four matches so I believe he will make a big difference in todays match. Lamia are struggling right now and they sit at the relegation zone currently but I believe playing at home they will want to put out a fight but as for me I'm gambling on AEK Athens to win this one.

There's no way in hell AEK is losing from Lamia. The match is about to start in a few minutes and I'm currently waiting behind the television to see if I messed up by betting on a match that has low odds. We'll see how that goes soon. I'm mostly intrigued to see OFI vs. Atromitos, I consider to be relatively balanced, the odds however aren't. I'm confident about OFI, but they've haven't had the best performance the past few matches which has me a little worried. We'll know in a few hours, I guess.

As expected, AEK won against Lamia with a final score of 1-0, while the rest of the matches that were "guaranteed" were actually predicted as I anticipated. OFI vs. Atromitos ended in a tie, with no goals scored from either team. It wasn't a bad weekend after all, but it yielded minor returns, which is still better than ending with a loss.

Posting the upcoming weekend's matches, which are the last for the year 2024 as well. This weekend generally has "safe" options with low odds, such as Olympiakos vs. Lamia, so we'll see how that goes.

To me the odd are worth it but not the winning though, I would pick the Home to win and over2.5 in the Olympiakos match as I believe more then 2 goals will be in the that match. Lamia are currently struggling in the league this season, they sit last in the league standing and they have just manage to pick 9 points from 15 league matches played, they don’t even know how to defend properly, they conceded in almost every match they play. Olympiacos will rain goals in this match.

Panathinaikos odd is probably manageable too, it 1.24 and if you feel it too small then you can as well play it with home to win and over 1.5 too, but as for me I will be picking it as over 2.5. The away team I currently struggling too as. Panamthinaikos will want to use this advantage to increase their goal tally, so much goals is also expected in this match too

I can’t say much about AEK Athens as me also will only pick them to just win. When a team is in the title rice, all they are concerned about is to just win matches. So I know for sure AEK Athens will win this match but can’t say much about the goals too

And for the PAOK game like you said the odd is reasonable enough so it just to pick them to win their match. It going to be a tough one but PAOK will win. They haven’t lost in this fixture since 2021, so for sure they will win in this fixture again.

You seem to have some knowledge regarding the upcoming matches. Olympiakos vs. Lamia is about to start in a few minutes, and although I understand what you mean, the odds for over 2.5 goals is 1.6, which isn't too bad to be honest. I also believe that they'll score at least two goals, so you're probably right. Something similar also applies to Panathinaikos (1.67 for over 2.5), but I still think that some of these matches aren't worth the risk. Perhaps I'll go ahead and bet minor amounts on both and see how it turns out. Anyway, we'll see the full analysis on Monday, till then, good luck!

I can’t say how disappointed I am with Olympiacos, this was a match they should have scored nothing less than 3goals but they had to even struggle to get a win. This always happen when a team is challenging for the title, they always try to play safe rather than expressing themselves. Like when they got a lead they always try to keep it safe, play it safe. The only time they would probably get more goals is when the opponent equalize or scores first they they try to score again to win the match. Well at the end you were right, this odds were not worth it and maybe I shouldn’t have even bet on them because I lost my bet already. Nevertheless I will still try and bet on the remaining games today and I really hope today it win.

They usually involved dominant teams such as Olympiakos or Panathinaikos, but more often than not, the 1.20 odds were not worth it, and even if I decided to bet over 2 or 2.5, the increased odds weren't worth the greater risk. Ultimately, I decided to bet on fewer matches, choosing those that were a little more balanced. I don't know how much money you lost, but if I were you, I'd try not to sweat too much about it. I've been in a similar position before; thus, I know the feeling. I've learned, however, and changed my tactic.

I won’t lie, I lost a lot of funds and like you said I won’t want to talk about it or even think over it because it gambling and of course we are boing to lose sometimes. I feel maybe fatigue was also a contribution in the lack of goal in the Greek league so far, I feel maybe immediately after the the holiday break team will score more, a lot of players would have rested and seen their loved ones too. I hope after the break I get my funds back, I believe the first 2 or 3 rounds after the break will produce goals.

Just like you, I have now learned too, and i have also learned that most odd are not worth it so it better to just leave the games. There are some exiting fixtures after the holiday, I hope we make some money after the holiday break.
