Well the derby ended like i said before in my last post here which can be founded above.

The local team win like in the last games was happening, and in this case was the Panathinaikos.

Last match was today, with Panseraikos vs. Lamia ending with a score of 2-0. I didn't have time bet, let alone watch the game, so I can't judge the teams' performances. This week wasn't too bad, but I could have done better, I missed a few opportunities that were quite decent, but anyway, I'll get it next weekend. Now, moving on to the next week, there are a few decent options that look promising.

Next weekend's matches:


Personally, I'm planning to bet on Atromitos vs. Volos, supporting Atromitos, as their performance was quite good the past two three matches, even though they didn't win in all of them, AEK vs. Panetolikos is a relatively safe option, along with PAOK vs. Levadiakos. The derby of the weekend is Olympiakos vs. Panathinaikos on Sunday.

I would stay away from the first game but in general, you are correct. Atromitos is a better team but Volos is a very unpredictable team. I will probably bet on the OFI team against Panserraikos instead of the Atromitos game. For AEK and PAOK games I agree with you, they will get the win they want, hard or easy.
As for the derby, I'm positive that we will see more than one goal, most likely from both teams. Now who will win, I'm not feeling ready to choose. Olympiakos have an important game midweek against Porto, so better to wait.

The derby of Panathinaikos vs. AEK is slowly coming to an end, with a few more minutes left to go. Panathinaikos has scored one goal on the 38th minute of the game. I highly doubt this is going to change in the last few minutes, but you never know. To be honest, this weekend didn't go as expected for myself, I did win the Olympiakos vs. Atromitos game, but it was a low odds one, but the others didn't go that well. I wasn't expecting Aris vs. PAOK end in a tie, nor OFI to lose from Panetolikos.

By contrast with  me  . I expecting that AEK will defeat Panathinaikos but conceded goal spoiled my bet ^{thus I have lost a bit.} I have lived a few years in Athens and has grown  fond of its football team. If look ^{right now} on  Greek Super League Table   AEK is just behind  Panathinaikos but the team's main battles are still ahead and ^{I think} AEK will close the  gap and shoot ahead of Panathinaikos.

Most of those small teams are quite unpredictable, but it's true, Volos has shown a frustrating performance the past few matches, so I'm not that confident they're going to win against Atromitos. OFI on the other hand is a little controversial, it's my local team and I usually support them, sometimes they've pleasantly surprised me but other times they've lost matches against teams they shouldn't have. They are better standing than Panserraikos though, so I'm definitely going for it.

As for the derby, I'm also expecting at least two goals, one from each team, so I'm likely going to bet on over 2x or 2.5x. I haven't checked the odds yet as it's still Tuesday.

So as far as i can see after beating AEK now Panatinaikos have another derby and key matches in his desire to fight for the title, this one is gonna be much more complicated against Olimpiacos and in the Olimpiacos home, i avoid this kind of matches. Only bet on yellow or red cards.

I also avoided them until recently; now I'm trying to participate every now and then, but predicting the outcome of the match is quite difficult when we're talking about two of the most dominant teams in the history of the Greek Super League. The odds are in favor of Olympiakos winning, and I'm also more confident in Olympiakos winning than Panathinaikos. Even though they won against AEK, their performance wasn't exactly top-notch, as the one and only goal of the match was scored after a penalty, which was a result of AEK goalkeeper's bad move.

OFI on the other hand is a little controversial, it's my local team and I usually support them, sometimes they've pleasantly surprised me but other times they've lost matches against teams they shouldn't have. They are better standing than Panserraikos though, so I'm definitely going for it.

OFI is a good team and in its home can take the win against similar calibre teams. Panseraikos have Betancor in great form but I doubt that can take the win or getting even 1 point. So, go Crete!

IMO it's a very reasonable bet. Both teams want badly the 3 points, are in good form, and are without serious absences. For sure, many cards will get out of referee's pocket, red can be one of them.

I wanted to update the topic with the odds for this weekend's matches but I completely forgot it. Today was a great match day indeed. I got 3/3 wins, something I wasn't expecting at all. AEK vs. Panetolikos was a match I considered safe, so I'm not surprised, but was expecting a better performance from AEK. The other two, I wasn't too confident about them, nor was I expecting OFI vs. Panserraikos to score that many goals, it was an outstanding match.

Three more matches tomorrow, including this weekend's derby of Panathinaikos vs. Olympiakos; we'll see how that goes. I haven't made up my mind yet on which ones I'm going to take part in.

Soo, we're headed towards the end of this matchday for this week as well, with the last game, Olympiakos vs. Panathinaikos, currently being live at 64'. Olympiakos has scored one goal so far, even though Panathinaikos' performance has been quite decent so far. It's not over yet, there's still chance to change the outcome of the game. As for the rest of the matches, I can safely say that they went exactly as I anticipated, PAOK won against Levadiakos, only with one goal though, I was expecting a higher score, and Aris won against Lamia. I didn't place a bet on the derby of Panathinaikos vs. Olympiakos because I was in a dilemma; we'll see how the rest of the match progresses.

I'm glad that I didn't bet on that match, I was considering over 2.5x or Olympiakos winning, none of these scenarios became a reality though. Thankfully, it was one of the few matches I decided to skip this weekend. I'm quite surprised though, Panathiakos had the ball's possession for the majority of the match, did way more passes and had a much better accuracy than Olympiakos, but ultimately ended in a tie. I knew Olympiakos wouldn't win that easily, but I was expecting at least three goals in total from both teams.

This was a great week, I'm hoping the next one will be even better!

You forget PAOK fans as well. Next week's derby it's between these two teams and I expect another tough game so from now I can say that cards will be again a "must play" bet.

Great job! That's a large number of cards, I saw the two reds, but didn't realize that a total of eight yellow cards were given. A big shoutout for Olympiakos fans as well, who were holding banners regarding the Tempi accident and the government's cover up, that was a truly significant and touching move!

Now that you've mentioned PAOK, let's post next week's matches, so we'll have the time to prepare ourselves for the upcoming weekend.


Quite a few interesting options, first match is Panathinaikos vs. OFI, even though I'm an OFI fan, and they've won against Panathinaikos a few weeks ago, I'm not taking my chances. Panathinaikos played quite great yesterday and I doubt they'll lose against OFI. PAOK vs. AEK is the derby of the week, I haven't checked the odds yet, but I'm more inclined to support PAOK.

Mmm i dont know so much about this specific derby, but outside of the super big teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid i think in normal derbys is better to avoid the over X goals bet, because they normally are very hard and poorly played games.

I acknowledge that when it's a match between two dominant teams it's quite hard to predict the outcome of the match, however, I was considering an over X amount of goals because I was confident that both teams would score. So, instead of trying to predict who's going to win, I'd be simply observing the total number of goals scored, which seamed easier at that time.

IMO you both are right, in different aspects. Top teams in any league, bigger or smaller, supposedly have "better" players than any other in their league. So yes, it will be hard but not avoidable at all. The same passion that they will show, thus leading the game in many cards, it's the same that will lead them to score. Now, we rarely see teams stand back and just defend at all costs. So once more in a Greek League derby, I will go for both goals and cards.
