Despite losing against FCSB in Europa League , Paok managed to win against Asteras and take 3 important points that will keep Paok on 4th place ( for now ) and also in the race for Europe spots for next year. However , team still looks shaky and I won't be surprised if we see them finishing just on 4th place this year as Paok seems to be in a down trend lately.

Unfortunately for me as an AEK fan , they lost 3 important points against Olympiakos on home ground and this defeat of AEK increased the chances for Olympiakos to become champions by the end of the season by quite a lot.
It was an expected win for PAOK, after the back to back defeat in Europe and in the league to Olympiacos, they needed a bounce back and fortunately for them it was a home match, so it was more easier for them as they have more of their fans behind them, the match ended 2-0 in favor of PAOK and of course it was a deserving win. They now sit comfortably in 4th position with 5 points clear Aris. There dream to play in Europe next season look like it might come true.

I’m sorry that your team suffer a title challenging defeat at home, it a big lose for you and the entire AEK fans, it was a match that could have put AEK in a good position to win the league. I expected at least a draw from them but all hope is not lost yet but for sure the chances of winning the league is now very slim.

~snip~
PAOK have been on decline this season and their game is much worse so they have to accept some draw and lost, in the Europa League they also had bad luck because they were eliminated in the play-off round but they still have another chance for next season.
Match against Kallithea whatever the result will still make PAOK occupy the top 4 because Aris as team below PAOK will not be able to surpass it, little talking about the league until now the winner in the league has also only changed from the top four team, there have been no surprises from several other team from below who suddenly showed significant improvement here.

Yeah, PAOK foam have not been steady, it’s fluctuating, you can’t even predict the matches they will win or not, I won’t say they are struggling but they have not been on their best foam this season. It a good thing that they are going to secure a place to participate in Europe next season, it not certain yet but they are in a good position. The Greek league this season is super competitive, especially for the race for top 4.

I believe PAOK will be better next season, most of the matches they’ve lost this season are matches they were much in control, if they could add a couple of players to the team next season I think they will do more better.

Their next match against Kallithea is suppose to be an easy win, Athens Kallithea are currently struggling and fighting to avoid relegation, with just 18points in their last 25 league matches. A win might put PAOK on 3rd place if Pananthinaikos fail to win their match.

One of the known problems of the PAOKs team is the offensive line, their strikers. Few and without proper back-ups. If they kept Tzimas (the new Brighton signing), things will be very different. Hopefully, next season they will cover this flaw.

To be honest, I can't see any of them losing their final games in the regular season. However, Panathinaikos have a more difficult game than PAOK, and after today's match for the Conference league, they will be tired. They make a big effort and get the win and maybe this will affect them.

Super win for Panathinaikos in the conferene league against the italian Fiorentina. Very fun match to see, most of all the first half, the other part of the game was fun but not like the first half.

Now Atromitos is on their way they cant lose any point if they want to keep nearby the top teams.

So, tomorrow is the last day of the regular season in the Super League. All the teams play on the same day and all the matches are at the same time.
Olympiakos and PAOK have the "easiest" task, while AEK and Panathinaikos will need a bit more effort to get the win that they both need badly. I will go for the PAOK's win combined with 2+ goals in both AEK's and Panathinaiko's matches. For any other bet, I will take my time and probably bet at the last moment...

I'm on a vacation and haven't been able to update the thread.  I believe this is the last matchday of the Greek Super League, correct me if I'm wrong but that's how I remember it. Anyway, due to having some interesting matches today, I might place a bet or two, just because it's the last ones and I don't want to miss out, and to try my luck with $15-$30, depending on the match.

From my perspective, Panetolikos is going to win against Levadiakos, Olympiakos is certainly going to win against OFI (that's unfortunate for my local team). The same applies for PAOK vs. Kallithea and Panathinaikos vs. Atromitos.

Indeed is the last matchday but for the regular season but don't forget that we also have the playoffs and the playouts... Wink

I agree with all of them, but something won't go as it looks. Which game will be the one that will "break", can't say. Maybe the match between Aris vs AEK, hard to say.

I think Atramitos will not lose to Panathinaikos at home today.
Also Ofi will get points from Olympiakos away.
Both Pana and Oly have return matches during the week. If they go out with mostly substitute squads, they will probably lose points.
In the surprise coupon, bets are made on Atromitos and Ofi winning.

Talking about "last round" of the regular season (seems like im talking about basquet). Its incredible to see in the top teams how less Panatianikos scores comapred to the other teams involved in the fight.

Panatinaikos scores only 30 goals, when Olympiacos and AEK scores 44 and PAOK an oustanding 51 goals. Panatianikos for example scores less goals than OFI who scores 37.

All matches are now live, at approximately 26 minutes. So far, PAOK has scored one goal against Kallithea, and Lamia also against Volos. I wish good luck to everyone. I'm quite confident on my options and perhaps, I'll have the chance to earn some extra money on my vacation. We'll know in approximately one hour from now. Also, I'll have to disagree with yenerbatmaz, for both matches you mentioned; I doubt Panathinaikos is going to lose, and OFI winning against Olympiakos seems unlikely.

Turns out we were both wrong, except Olympiakos vs. OFI, where Olympiakos scored one goal against OFI. All the other matches I mentioned ended in a tie, even Atromitos vs. Panathinaikos and AEK vs. Aris. I'm quite disappointed to be honest, I was expecting to make some money on my vacation haha. I only won OFI vs. Olympiakos, but lost on the other ones, thus, I'm at a loss. The end of the regular Greek Super League didn't quite go as I was anticipating. How did everyone else go?

Probably the worst matchday that I had in Super League betting. I was expecting a game or two tops to "break" and see a "surprising" result but not the whole matchday. Almost everything goes wrong. PAOK lost from Kallithea (!), AEK couldn't even score and Panathinaikos managed to bring a draw. My loss will be bigger but thankfully Lamia's win, Panaitolikos's draw, and the red card in Aris's game, save something out of nothing. Hopefully will have better chances in the upcoming playoffs.

You can't imagine how disappointed I am, lol. Some results were ridiculous, and how did Lamia manage to win against Volos, they've lost almost every single match. On top of that, I was also considering betting on Panserraikos vs. Astera Tripolis but ultimately didn't. A win on that match would have countered the previous losses, the OFI vs. Olympiakos wasn't enough to counter the other three losses. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the playoffs, hopefully, they won't go as bad as this matchday; it was a disaster.

Lamia was lucky and me with her as well lol! It was a "lucky bet" along with the Panaitolikos draw. Logically, none of them should end the way they ended. But that's the beauty of sports, right? If every match ends the way we expect, then we will all be millionaires! Cheesy

That's the beauty of sports and gambling. They're unpredictable and there are no guarantees and this proves it. There are many factors that contribute how a game might end, not every day is the same. You can't imagine my expression seeing so many losses in a single matchday, but it happens, and we've come to terms with it when we're placing a bet. Anyway, we'll see how the playoffs go, do you have any idea when they start? I haven't noticed anything yet.

As far as I know from the latest news, playoffs (and playouts) will start on 29 March with the games Olympiakos vs Panathinaikos and AEK vs PAOK. For the playouts, we will have Panserraikos vs Lamia, Panetolikos vs Levadiakos, and Kallithea vs Volos. The other group, which is the places from 5 to 8, will have OFI vs Atromitos and Asteras vs Aris. To be honest, this Super League format is a bit ridiculous...

I doubt if anyone won money or reasonable money at least. It one of the worst scoreline in the Greek league this season, teams could barely win their matches and they was lack of goals also. Many of my fellow gamblers who I know that love to gamble in the Greek league complained bitterly, about how they also lost funds too.

Only two teams where able to play over2, there were lack of goals and PAOK which I predicted to win also lost and Aris couldn’t win even with the away team receiving red card in the game. Olympiacos I predicted over2 also could only score just one goal, also with the away team receiving red card too.

The Greek league this season have been very unpredictable and to be honest I don’t pray we experience season like this again as gamblers. Onto the playoffs now, let see if we can still make some money off them

Me neither, it was a remarkable "disaster" for almost all! I believe that playoffs will be a different story with more than 1 goal per game and far more competitive matches (in terms of scoreline and toughness). We still have plenty of time but for the teams, isn't such a piece of good news this break for the National teams matches.

The playoffs could be disastrous too you know, this is when most teams get very serious, this period is which determines how their season will end. Most teams now become very defensive minded especially when an underdog scores first. Just like you said the international break could make a big difference, we as the gamblers will have more time to analyze games properly but as for them it could be a huge problem. We all know how international breaks are key factors to injury to players.

Let hope we gamblers get to benefit from this coming international break and recover from what we have lost so far in the hands of Greek league this season.
