The Greek Super League format is this: After the regular season ends, it starts a mini-tournament for all the teams. The first 4 teams play between them for the European competitions tickets. The 5th until the 8th place teams play between them for another EU ticket, but under specific circumstances. The same goes for the last 6 teams, from which the 2 teams (or more) will be regulated. They couldn't think of a more complex and without any meaning format than that. This is by far one of the most idiotic formats!

As for today's matches, Atromitos won against OFI, so I lost this bet, while Kallithea vs. Volos ended in a tie, so I also lost this one. I am now waiting on Aris vs. Asteras, in which I've placed a bet on Aris, who is winning with one goal so far, and on Panetolikos vs. Levadiakos, the score is still on zero, and I've placed a bet on Panetolikos, but we still have quite a long time till the match ends.

Same here regarding the OFIs' match. However, it was the only one that I lost since I was afraid of unexpected results to come (Levadiakos's win, for example), and I bet on my favorite goals average. So, I lost a single bet (OFIs' win), but I got my parlays (2+ goals to all the other matches).
I think I will keep the same strategy for tomorrow's games, plus yellow cards in both derbies.

Yeah, didn't go that well for me. I only won Aris vs. Asteras Tripolis, at least, I didn't lose every single one of them. I was also sceptical about Panetolikos vs. Levadiakos, I was also considering opting for an over 2 bet, but I changed my mind and placed it on Panetolikos. Not a great start if I'm honest, but I don't want to be disappointed just yet. We'll definitely have a handful of opportunities ahead of us. Anyway, time to post tomorrow's matches as well.

If you bet on Panseraikos win, I'm sorry for the loss of it. As for the Athenian derby, I already bet for the 2+ goals, and I'm skeptical about betting on Olympiakos win. It will be last last-minute decision.
By the way, the referee in the Panseraikos match needs to be disqualified from all the referees' tables in all the leagues! He needed VAR assistance for giving Lamia's penalty while it was more than obvious. The Panseraikos player acted like a keeper, but the ref didn't see it, even if he was 2 meters away!

AEK lose a incredible game against PAOK, they were up by 2 goals and they lose it in a few minutes, PAOK take the lead 3-2 making and amazing comeback, i can feel the faces on AEK supporters for sure after this.

Nice one! I bet over 2 on Panseraikos vs. Lamia, over 2.5 in the other two derbies, I couldn't decide who's going to win, so I went ahead with this strategy. So far, it has turned out not too bad, I didn't win anything from the first match, but I've won AEK vs. PAOK due to my over 2.5 goals bet. Not great, but not too bad either. I'm now waiting on Olympiakos vs. Panathinaikos, I'm confident that Olympiakos is going to win, but I couldn't make up my mind. On the one hand, I'm starting to doubt the over 2.5 bet, but I'm going to leave it as it is.

But they manage to turn this upside down and show why they took the champion crown last year. Great match!

AEK vs. PAOK was an outstanding game indeed, I wasn't expecting them to score up to 5 goals in total. As for Olympiakos vs. Panathinaikos, it's a lost cause for Panathinaikos, we're currently at 70', with a score of 3-1, although there's always the possibility of reversing the score, I highly doubt it. Olympiakos has already won the match. Thankfully, I'll win this bet as well, so two out of three while the other one was a push bet isn't too bad for the second day of the playoffs. I was a little disappointed yesterday, but today was quite decent.

For this is why this format doesnt make so much sense, finish it in regular.

In the paper seems like a good one format, because to be champion you are gonna have to win against the best teams in the league, its like you have to revalidate your winnings, but in the practice is not so good, if some team open a big gap is over before it started.

I was also quite surprised; a total of six goals in the Olympiakos vs. Panathinaikos match is an astonishing amount. I was almost afraid that Panathinaikos would reverse the game when they scored the second goal, but Olympiakos scored the fourth one after a while as well, rendering it impossible for Panathinaikos to win the match. The upcoming weekend is going to have some interesting derbies and matches as well; the playoffs have officially begun, and so far, Olympiakos seems to be going for the win of the Greek Super League championship.

Olympiakos can be champion in the next weeks' games, if he beats PAOK and AEK lose from Panathinaikos. However, it will be difficult for Olympiakos to achieve that after yesterday's performance from PAOK and since they play in PAOK's home. Either way, Olympiakos isn't stressed at all.

Next week's matches will probably be high-scoring as well.

IMO, all the upcoming matches will be enjoyable to watch. The battle now looks like it is regarding the 2nd place, the champions will be Olympiakos. I found it very hard for them not to win at least one of the remaining matches.

Yes, that's true. However, instead of creating a mini-championship inside the championship, you can give more money to the other teams and make the existent championship stronger. They can't even manage to have their own referees, and they make a new format that no one uses or understands. The "guys" in their association are out of knowledge, out of proper thinking, and out of reality.

I know that this thread is about the Super League and not the Cup, but I wanted to give my congrats to the OPs' local team for their great semifinal match and their promotion to the final. Great game, greater atmosphere and suspense. Very entertaining match! Of course, OFI has almost zero chances of lifting the trophy since they will play against the top team atm in Greece, but it's a massive success to be in the final. And we never know, anything is possible...

Thanks for the heads-up; I also wanted to make a post about it, but I forgot. My colleague went to see the match live and couldn't stop talking about it today at work. It was a tough match, and I wasn't so sure if we'd make it to the finals, but things ended quite great. Certainly, we don't have a chance against the major teams such as Olympiakos or Panathinaikos (even though we won a while ago against Panathinaikos), but it would be unrealistic to expect us to win the Cup. It's the truth, whether we like it or not.

Looks like Olympiakos are around 70% already champions of this season right ? AEK Athens is behind 10 points and already lost H2H game against Olympiakos.

Also , by the current look of standings , I find it difficult for PAOK to secure an European Spot for next season and most likely they will finish on 4th. I'm saying this because in my opinion both AEK and Panathinaikos are a bit stronger than current squad of PAOK but if somehow PAOK wins against Olympiakos in weekend , then out of nowhere the title for 2nd spot is relaunched with Paok having the best chance for it.

Nothing fancy or big for me either, regarding yesterday's matches. Aris win with more than 1.75 goals and 2+ goals in the Levadiakos match. Thankfully, I wasn't confident about betting on the Kallithea match. For today, I will go for the win of PAOK with more than 1.75+ goals and more than 2 goals for the Athenian derby between Panathinaikos and AEK. Maybe I will bet as well in Panathinaikos win, not so sure though.
I didn't bet on Volos game (still goal-less) and regarding the Atromitos vs Asteras match I will probably bet for both of them to score.
