My parents never believed in this and didn't support me. I understand them because this isn't their era, and they thought all of it was a scam. They never wanted to support me in investing, but I understand and don't hold it against them. Now that I’m 18 and have a fair amount of money from my salary, I’m directing it towards Bitcoin investment, and other investing projects.

Your parents just want you to be okay and not fall for scammer attempts. You can certainly invest in bitcoin, but there are many bitcoin investment products out there that are fraudulent and fraudulent. OP, it's not just you, many parents think Bitcoin is a scam. In fact many of our parents can't keep up with the current times, they can't believe anything risky. However, you wanted to invest in Bitcoin at a very young age, you mentioned that you got interested in Bitcoin investing at the age of 16. I think your parents did the right thing then, because maybe you didn't have a job then. How would you invest if you didn't have a job?

This lad is a very wise boy. He picked interest in bitcoin so early and I was wondering how far he must have gone with his bitcoin savings just as he said. He just might be the lucky type to have a source of income which would allow him save up in bitcoin and made good profit in the long run while working and earning from his physical labor to saving part of it in bitcoin.

It is also matured of him to have understood the timing and his parents reaction to not supporting him as a result of them not being aware of it  but he understood and never bothered them again. I believe nature and time will show him good favour.

Sometimes one's thinking is still stuck in a situation where conventional thinking is always a mindset so that modern-based work is sometimes not really considered as work which makes the situation sometimes not balanced when someone who works via the internet or uses gadgets, PCs, Laptops and other modern tools is considered not as work in the end.

But even though it's like that I also actually still agree when in the end a trader or being an investor cannot be said to be a permanent job because it is more suitable for part-time.

I'm literally trying to place a particular essence around this post by you OP, the most i could get of this is that you came to see if we are going to prove between you and your parents who was right about the ways to make money since it appears like there are different perspectives with which you people see how money should be made and if this is exactly the point then i beg to disappoint you because i know that both ways good money could actually be made, there are people who have got a physical job and are able to make good money and there are others with a remote job and a non physical job yet they make good money so either ways you get to make money if you are good at your job.

Investing in Bitcoin is good to make you to be making money that isn't physical and it isn't wrong making money that way. Passive income gives you money that you don't have to be active to work to receive and that's the way you can grow yourself and become wealthy and not through salaries. You can also work physical works and get paid salary that you'll use to invest in Bitcoin and also grow your riches. The parents aren't wrong to their understanding because during their time, there was lots of successful online scams hence they want their son to get a real job but they're forgetting that, real jobs aren't available that many hence people have to look for alternative things to do that can give them money to use. Investing in Bitcoin and making money through it isn't wrong because you're not stealing the money but you're investing. Any work that you're doing and it is legit, do it to make the money and invest.

some parents just want the best for their kids and maybe that is why they restrict but if there is a proper explanation then I don't think there should be a problem once you make them understand everything about Bitcoin sometimes we always don't want to explain things to our parent because we feel like we don't hold them an explanation just maybe because we feel we are all grown up but we still, there have been a lot of scam cases and maybe that is one of the reasons they are still skeptical about bitcoin because when I made a section about bitcoin there was a lot of questions asked, especially parents, some said they hear about bitcoin because they always hear it but they don't understand what it is and some even think its a Ponzi and some understood it clearly.

The same advice I will give have something more physical to show and also to keep you going because the moment the market is not in good shape then you will have a problem because you will struggle when it comes to money in does period and even if you don't have another investment you should just have a job and that will be much better because you can not enjoying bitcoin without have a source of were money is coming from.  if you are holding for a long time and you don't have a source of income then you will have to look for one, to make things more easy for our self.

18 years, you still have a long way to go in real life probably you are not a graduate yet and you have to finish university  and in this process all what I will advise you is DCA method of investment and focus on your education to increase your knowledge on universal knowledge.

And parents that are not computer orientated might not allowed their children to involve in bitcoin mostly core religion parents. And not all the parents are cryptocurrency oriented and when a child come from those families, it is difficult for them to participate in cryptocurrency unless they do it outside the home at friends place and not at the home. This thing I am telling has happened to my cousin brother who was attacked by his parents when he was using cryptocurrency (BNB and USDT) and the parents were against him and when he left them, he did well. And now he has enough cash.

I means we should explain to our parents that Bitcoin is the most secure thing/assets in terms of privacy as well as that we can organize a fair amount of profit margins by investing in it, Bitcoin is not a scam despite it's a best way of eraning, etc. etc. So hopefully they will be willing to adopt it. 
 
So it also means that first of all we should educate our parents about Bitcoin and then obviously they will automatically agree with you that investing in Bitcoin is the best idea. It sounds nice and simple but is convincing someone and making them want to invest in bitcoin as easy as the theory we are talking about? I don't think that just taking the time to explain things to someone will make them easily accept what we say. That is why there are still many people who do not believe in bitcoin. Instead, why don't we use our investment results to prove it and that's the best explanation, IMO.

Also, is it a good idea to try to explain bitcoin to our parents and the purpose of that is to expect them to give us money to invest in bitcoin? Why don't we use our own money to invest in bitcoin? Why use other people's money to invest in bitcoin? I don't think convincing our parents to invest or giving us money to invest in bitcoin is a good idea.

Physical jobs or not you need money to invest, aside money some might think the money must be much or else it’s not an investment meanwhile bitcoin investment allows you to buy little gradually using the dca. I don't think it's absolutely necessary to educate our parents about Bitcoin, but it's good to be educated. Because you will invest your money in Bitcoin, parents don't need to know about Bitcoin. Now, if you are considering investing your parents' money in Bitcoin, you should educate your parents about Bitcoin. There are many people who have invested in Bitcoin but they don't have to get permission from their parents, their parents don't know what Bitcoin is. So if you want to invest in bitcoin, first learn to earn, invest small amount every month from your income in bitcoin in DCA method then your parents won't stop you.

I think, you took a good step by learning the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency before planing to invest in Bitcoin to become an investor, and don't forget to invest what you can afford to lose in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency investment, because the investment is different from other fiat investment you can invest all your funds and get results the next month or year. I know your parents will not support you based on what they have heard concerning Bitcoin and cryptocurrency which is not true but it is very difficult for parents to believe that is not true, because they got all those information from the government financial institution that made them not to support you financially or physically to achieve your goal and I don't blame them for such behavior. Well, the story make small sense OP, but at your age 18,  I think you are still a child in this investment and you need to use quality wallets to save your Bitcoin and cryptocurrency for you to experience huge amount of funds that will increase your capital.
