I checked all posts from this member posted in Croatian local board made from 2014 to 2018, and they look real to me.

Upon further review, yeah it was the 1st owner who was Croatian, not the second.

Again I ask, of what use will showing you a private conversation I had with the real owner of the account be to you and to me?

Massive posting gap between 2017 and 2021 and then 2021 to 2024. This account has definitely changes hands. The previous own seemed a little knowledgeable vs the current two line shit-poster who's looking for a way of joining a signature campaign, I think he is first trying to cover his tracks before he jumps into the signature campaign ship.

A neutral tag would do good for future reference.

On Aug 18, 2024, an address belonging to roslinpl made an indirect BNB transfer to an address belonging to usekevin, funding the address for the first time with the entire balance via hop address. Visually, the link looks like this:

Thanks for those detective eyes @nutildah. There's no doubt both accounts are under control of the same person and since @roslinpl has a flag, I believe usekevin deserves one too since he's always creating threads or Announcements.

That way, caring newbies who try to join his campaigns will at least know who they are dealing with.

Since the giveaway itself seems to have been a scam, nobody actually got their BTC. And since none of these accounts are red tagged for something else, I don't think its necessary to leave a red tag for them at the moment. However, I will be leaving a neutral tag for all accounts.

Basically they funded each other's BSC address to take part in the same bounties.

Here we can see that TribalBob used the same address as nanuk083, so its a pretty clear case of ban evasion, and suggests that all the accounts are owned by the same person:

Today, I saw this account randomly being applied to enter the signature campaign. Its previous posting experience seems inconsistent with its current posting experience. It hasn't been posted on the account for a long time, and if you look closely, you can see that the email and password have been changed twice, and only the password has been changed twice. This account has changed hands, woken up, and started posting randomly.


Mastercon applied the Little Mouse manager Shuffle.com signature campaign despite having no slot. His habits seem to be thoroughly mixed up with the past and present. It appears that the account has been changed hands. I think a neutral tag should be left to warn him.

Little Mouse did not apply anywhere. The user in question applied to a Campaign that is handled by Little Mouse. I have checked the account. Yes, they do have long posting gaps. They have created 15 posts so far since the account woke up. The first post after waking up was creating a thread in the service section and looking for a signature campaign.

The email of this account was changed, but they have not changed their password yet. Probably they set 2FA and did not change the password for a reason. I am not sure if this is enough to judge an account. If the account is sold, I feel like a dumb bounty hunter who bought this account. Otherwise they wouldn't create a thread in service section being a full member with one earned merit.

English is not my first language, I am not sure if you are trolling me because of my bad English. Because I don't see much improvement after six years. I actually wrote something personal while writing this reply, but I had to delete it, thinking it was not worth sharing personal things here. Anyway, back then, I did not know about tools that can fix spelling mistakes. But I have been using a tool to fix spelling mistakes and suggest better grammar lately. No, I do not use AI to improve my writing, but yeah, I tried it for testing purposes. I posted here a couple of weeks ago

Original owner's last post was in Dec 2017; prior to that it was Aug 2015.

The first thing the second owner did - in Sep 2019 - was stake a Bitcoin address which was never used on the forum before or after.

The account seems to have changed hands again in Jun 2021, as there was a 1+ year posting gap since May 2020. BPIP data corroborates these potential changes in ownership:

Nowadays practically all those of us who are not native English speakers use some tool or other to translate, revise or improve what we post in English, which is not forbidden. Personally, when I write short sentences I usually write them directly in English, for longer paragraphs I use Deepl.com, and sometimes I have used ChatGPT for more complex things like translating an idiom.

For me what proves that an account has been sold or hacked is the opposite, someone who years ago wrote in perfect English and today writes quite poorly. This coupled with a gap or posting on different boards. But that people have a better level of written English than years ago is quite normal, either because they have improved their level or because they use some tool or other, which I think is positive overall for the main sections of the forum, which are in English.

I have no doubt some people are cheating, but it's totally possible to improve your English skills in 8 years.

How is it cheating to use tools to improve your written English? Even to translate directly from your mother tongue. The only rule that even remotely resembles this is rule 27, which I personally don't agree with, but leaving that aside, what it prohibits is using automatic translators to publish on local boards by translating from English into the local language, not the other way around. There is no rule prohibiting the use of tools to translate from local languages to English or to improve writing.

I was thinking a bit broader: a change in language (skills) often indicates a bought/hacked account. Chatbots are the latest addition to the list, but I wouldn't worry about spell checkers.

It depends: if a Newbie has a tech question but doesn't speak English, online translation can help him post and get a solution. But if someone who doesn't speak English is posting large numbers of translated posts, he'll probably end up on my ignore list.
