🚨 Attention Indian Users 🚨

It’s time to expose the dark side of Stake.com, the online crypto casino that has been scamming users in India!

Many of us have been lured into using Stake.com for its flashy promises of easy winnings and crypto rewards. But here’s the shocking truth: Stake.com has been operating unethically, taking payments from Indian users without proper authorization and compliance with Indian laws!

💰 The Scam: After making payments through their platform, several Indian users, including myself, have had our bank accounts BLOCKED by authorities. When we reached out to Stake.com for help, they conveniently washed their hands of the responsibility, leaving us to deal with the consequences.

📧 Their Response: In a recent email from Stake.com’s support team, they claimed they cannot take responsibility for this issue and advised us to contact the police instead. This is an outright refusal to own up to their shady practices!

🚨 Warning to All: If you’re using Stake.com or considering it, STOP NOW! They are exploiting users by operating in legal gray areas, and when things go wrong, they leave you to fend for yourself.

🚔 Authorities Involved: The local police are already on the case, investigating these unethical transactions. If you’ve been affected, it’s crucial to report your case to the authorities immediately.

🔍 Demand Accountability: We must hold Stake.com accountable for their actions! Spread the word, share your experiences, and let’s ensure no one else falls victim to this scam.

👉 Stay Safe and Be Informed! Don’t let the allure of easy money blind you to the risks. Your financial security is far more important than a quick gamble.

I thought Stake only allows payments in cryptocurrencies? Although you can decide to let your coins to be displayed in fiat currency. Are you allowed to make payment through crypto in banks in India? I have not heard India support something like this before.

Also if you make payment from bank to Stake, this may not be because of Stake but another reason. Just go to your bank and let them unfreeze your account.

I do not see anything that Stake did wrong about this.

I've quoted your post so that your image shows.

I think you need a stronger case about the situation and the gray areas, and generally more depth about the whole sage. Right now, the thread is succinct  and to the point though lacks needed supporting information.

If Indian banks don't want you depositing to Stake or some other online casinos, then that's a problem between you, your bank, and whatever institutions are flagging such deposits. I really don't see what you want Stake to do about it. If you deposit bitcoin from a non-custodial address not connected to your identity to Stake and withdraw winnings using bitcoin, then there is nothing your government or bank can do about it.

If you deposited from your bank account to Binance or a similar CEX and your bank froze your account or reported you to Indian authorities for using bitcoin, would you hold the exchange responsible for the problems you have with your bank?

How is this a scam?
It's your bank that is scamming you at best, they are the ones that locked your account and not stake!
How on earth would stake be able to even manage to block a bank account?

Furthermore, how would your bank even know you have deposited on stake, you bought that crypto though moonpay, deal with them at best if not with your bank directly, you get your account frozen and you don't scream abuse towards your bank first?

We must hold Stake.com accountable for their actions!

What action and what accountability?

I thought Stake only allows payments in cryptocurrencies?

Deposits via Moonpay.

This is not the first time OP has been found having issues with Stake. Take a look at their post history.

If its like a snake-mongoose relationship, why does the OP keep coming back to Stake and blame them for the problems?
This is not even a proper scam accusation at the current state of the opening post, it should be edited as the format provided in this section.

As far as I know, many Indian users are playing on Stake and many other casinos without having problems with their banks.

Regardless of what format the OP selects, this has got nothing to do with Stake. If the whole premise is that Stake is responsible for his bank freezing his bank account, then the assumption is wrong no matter what format he shows in his OP. I have no idea what other issues the player had with Stake, but that's a different topic altogether.

Stake allows local deposits through their 3rd parties but through illegal means. Stake is not taking accountability. They are caught red handed.

You are not sure but still you defend stake? Shame on you.

Stake 3rd party service for buying crypto using fiat doesn’t support Indian Rupee. Only BRL,CAD,COP,IDR,EUR and USD are the supported currency in there so I’m not sure do you manage to deposit directly using your fiat currency. Besides there’s always a disclaimer on the 3rd party service that stated they run independently.

Quote
Disclaimer: The above third party services can be used to purchase crypto that can be used to play on Stake. By registering on their platform, you are also accepting to their terms of service and will be required to pass their KYC process, which runs independently to ours.

Your issue is with the 3rd party services and your banks. Stake has nothing to do with your bank problem.

I remember correctly that your previous case with them got resolved, so how do they keep scamming Indian [if not worldwide] players? Yes, their response and resolution on this forum is next to nonexistent, but they resolve issues against them nonetheless.

Moving to this one, as I believe I don't have to repeat what others have said about this is between you and your bank, and wasn't part of Stake's fault, but this part caught my attention,

Stake allows local deposits through their 3rd parties but through illegal means. Stake is not taking accountability. They are caught red handed. [...]

You're saying that you deposited to stake through third party that you know illegal, but you still doing it? Why?

Last time, you managed to twist my words, holydarkness, but that won't happen again.

I never stated that I deposited through a third party on my own. The reality is that Stake.com collects money through third-party vendors, which they have full control over, not the users. This isn't about us choosing an illegal route—it's about Stake using shady, illegal methods to process deposits.

Check the statement issued by NikolaH from Stake's support team. They’ve clearly washed their hands of the situation, refusing to take accountability. Stake is the one caught red-handed, and their unethical practices are coming to light.

Let's set the record straight: the blame lies squarely with Stake.com, not with the players who trusted them.

Last time I managed to did what, now? I twist your words? Wow.

I am a bit vague about this and not in the mood of re-reading the whole thread to perfectly align my memory, but a quick glance for a refresher course, this is what happened: you presented a case, I tried to show you the error based on your screenshot, that the winning were actually credited and you misunderstood the timeline, that the screenshot of your history actually were several hours past your big win instead of one hour.

This is your closing statement,

Thank you, updated the thread tittle.

It was not the timezone misunderstanding but I misunderstood the missing hand with the credited hand and the screenshot I got from pragmatic was from a different bonus which led to further confusion the missing bonus buy was credited on May 11th after the complaint was raised, so no way a player will know if their hand is missing if they are not paying attention to it. This led to a lot of concussion and frustration at my end and wasted so much of my valuable time in resolving this unless someone pointed me that I was looking at the wrong bonus buy. I think this is very commo [sic]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your previous case introduced a fact that's not known to any of the overseer until the investigation finished and stake got to the bottom of your case, that you have several bonuses and complication that you yourself misunderstood and confused.

And that's me, who spent a good time explaining the whole timezone difference, 12-H v 24-H time format, gaps in timestamp, and anything that's related to what's mainly being presented as the case, as well as what the supporting evidence were given for the case, and [IIRC] there was not a word or supporting evidence about the other bonus and whatever entailed it from you, ever, and that's me twisting your words?

Wow. Thank you.

I'll set my record straight: I never twist your words. Not on this one, not in the past, not ever. And in concern that I will be perceived as attempting to do so, by whoever read your post above, at face value, without reading the whole past case and studied the fact and what really transpired, I am removing myself from this one and most likely from all of your cases and posts moving forward.

As a reader of the scam accusation boards (namely casino ones) I would say that you do have a tendency to come across as biased toward defending casinos rather than being unbiased. Seems to be the root of the problem here, as you did quickly jump to absolve stake of any liability in your first statement:

I remember correctly that your previous case with them got resolved, so how do they keep scamming Indian [if not worldwide] players? Yes, their response and resolution on this forum is next to nonexistent, but they resolve issues against them nonetheless.

You're saying that you deposited to stake through third party that you know illegal, but you still doing it? Why?

My friendly tip is to ask more questions rather than quickly drawing conclusions that are in the defense of the casino. You do it a lot - In fact, it almost looks like you're incentivized to defend them by default (you don't have to answer but, are you?)

Attention Indian Users

It’s time to expose the dark side of Stake.com, the online crypto casino that has been scamming users in India!

Many of us have been lured into using Stake.com for its flashy promises of easy winnings and crypto rewards. But here’s the shocking truth: Stake.com has been operating unethically, taking payments from Indian users without proper authorization and compliance with Indian laws!

The Scam: After making payments through their platform, several Indian users, including myself, have had our bank accounts BLOCKED by authorities. When we reached out to Stake.com for help, they conveniently washed their hands of the responsibility, leaving us to deal with the consequences.

Their Response: In a recent email from Stake.com’s support team, they claimed they cannot take responsibility for this issue and advised us to contact the police instead. This is an outright refusal to own up to their shady practices!

Warning to All: If you’re using Stake.com or considering it, STOP NOW! They are exploiting users by operating in legal gray areas, and when things go wrong, they leave you to fend for yourself.

Authorities Involved: The local police are already on the case, investigating these unethical transactions. If you’ve been affected, it’s crucial to report your case to the authorities immediately.

Demand Accountability: We must hold Stake.com accountable for their actions! Spread the word, share your experiences, and let’s ensure no one else falls victim to this scam.

Stay Safe and Be Informed! Don’t let the allure of easy money blind you to the risks. Your financial security is far more important than a quick gamble.

https://talkimg.com/images/2024/08/25/70bq5.jpeg

I've quoted your post so that your image shows.

I think you need a stronger case about the situation and the gray areas, and generally more depth about the whole sage. Right now, the thread is succinct  and to the point though lacks needed supporting information.

"Important update: The account freeze is a result of a Cyber Crime Police investigation, not a bank issue. Stake's payment providers, which facilitate fund transfers from Indian customers, are not GST-registered and potentially evade taxes. This raises AML concerns, as UPI is meant for direct customer-merchant transactions in India, but Stake uses unknown third-party vendors, circumventing GST and Income Tax regulations."

So, why is the CyberCrime unit freezing your bank account and not Stakes's bank account to which you made the payment to?
Second, what does the Cyber Crime division have to do with a money transfer from a personal account to a third-party gateway?

Sorry, but this sounds like a fantasy novel, care to show any proof of this?

The thing is that even if your account would be indeed frozen by the police, they will not tell you why they did so if there is an ongoing investigation, nowhere in this world is the police seizing accounts and then telling suspects exactly why they are investigated for, we had hundreds of accounts frozen by their banks here or from trusted CEXs, none of them disclosed the reasons until the a decision was made to either seize or release the funds.

Let's say your story is true, the Indian police are going after unlicensed gambling sites that have frozen your bank account and then sent you this response, care to show a few screenshots of this because otherwise, nobody is going to believe you. Show proof and things will change radically in your favor!

The investigation is ongoing, and as such, I’m limited in what details I can share. However, let’s be clear: we are the victims in this case. The real suspects here are Eddie and the third-party entities that facilitated these illegal transfers to Stake.com from India.

Holydarkness, it's becoming increasingly obvious that you act as a mouthpiece for these casinos. Your consistent defense of their shady practices suggests you're benefitting from this in some way—perhaps even getting a cut to post in favor of them.

Your skepticism doesn’t change the facts: the authorities are cracking down on these unlicensed operations, and those responsible will be held accountable. The truth is coming out, and no amount of deflection or doubt-casting will stop it.

Stompix, let’s cut the nonsense. You're quick to dismiss everything as "trust me, bro," but that attitude conveniently ignores the reality of how investigations work. Legal processes aren’t here to satisfy your curiosity; they’re about uncovering the truth and ensuring justice is served.

You're asking for "extraordinary evidence" as if this is a game. This isn't a story—it's a serious investigation involving cybercrime, and it takes time for everything to come to light. Just because you don’t see it splashed across the news yet doesn’t mean it isn’t real. The authorities are building a case, and Stake.com’s size and influence make this a complex operation.

Your insistence on immediate proof is naive at best and deliberately misleading at worst. You know as well as I do that in cases involving large entities like Stake, the legal system takes a methodical approach to ensure that when the hammer drops, it drops hard.

And let's not pretend there's no bias here. You and your crew have been running interference for Stake from the start, trying to discredit anyone who speaks out. It’s transparent, and frankly, it’s pathetic.

The truth will come out, and when it does, no amount of hand-waving or deflection will save those involved. You can play the skeptic all you want, but facts don’t care about your spin. When the time comes, it’ll be clear who’s been standing on the side of the truth and who’s been trying to bury it.

INR Users, do no use UPI deposits in stake. They won't take responsibilty and still operate in legal grey area with out paying GST. Stake has lost my reputation end eddie is a con man.

Sure the situation is a bit fuzzy, to say the least but I always wonder about why people would you fiat payment systems on crypto casinos and sports books.
If you want to use fiat aren't there other places with better odds (sports) and other comparable bonus incentives (deposit bonus, redeposit bonus etc). Why going through possible problems with a site that has focus on crypto currency and is not 100% behind fiat payment providers, it doesn't make too much sense to be honest.
