I have no doubts that bitcoin will hit $100k in the future, that’s how highly potential bitcoin is. However, due to its volatility, we can’t be certain as to when bitcoin will definitely achieve that price, it could be next year or the following year. But one thing is certain, bitcoin will never fail us with our expectations as long as there’s still high demand for bitcoin, that alone will guarantee that bitcoin will continue to positively navigate in the crypto market despite of its volatility.

I think it's great that Bitcoin is not just growing in adoption and gradually gaining more value, but it's also doing fairly well with transaction load. There are some periods of really high transaction fees, that's true. And those periods are very annoying. But then there are periods like right now, when the priority fee is $0.25. If I was told in 2017 that BTC transaction fees in 2024 would be $0.25, I would not have believed it. It's truly impressive and a relief. While it doesn't mean that Bitcoin can scale well, it takes the edge off the issue of adopting Bitcoin as money, at least for some purposes and by some businesses.

It's like consequence of Bitcoin value and price growth because Bitcoin transaction fee (on-chain) is calculated by fee rate and transaction size. Fee rate is in satoshi and with growth of Bitcoin value and price, satoshi price will become higher (more expensive) so transaction fee will be more expensive with time.

Except if we have some more technical development and solution to make transaction off-chain. Else, we will have to accept more expensive Bitcoin transaction with time. It's not comfortable for people with small capital that will be spent mostly for transaction fee. With rich guys and big capital, transaction fee is not a matter with them.

Bitcoin being decentralized and censorship resistant is become a force to be reckoned with. People are using it and seeing it as good store of value and its adoption is increasing.

Over my last 8years on this forum I am surprised to see the buzz around bitcoin spread from this forum to the commoners I overhear on the bus to work.

I did not expect this much improvement in popularity and use when I first came to this forum, I felt bitcoin would remain in a niche group and not spread more, I was wrong and I was delighted for that.

for 100k$ it can be achieved but not in the current bull run, where we see it is difficult for btc to get a new ATH above 70k$, with so many opinions and news about btc, new investors are not strong enough to hold the btc they have, they may not understand so they let go of their btc because they are afraid of experiencing quite deep losses

I think there is a topic already talking about people’s opinion but regardless every bitcoin enthusiast and holder already wants to see bitcoin doing very well and exceeding $100k and even more but I don’t know why but I wish to be among the train when the price gets to $100k.

I don’t but there have never been time I’ve believed so much in bitcoin compared to now because bitcoin has really proved itself and I don’t know but if I’m to bring someone to the industry, I will confidently tell them to buy bitcoin

The price for Bitcoin is going to go up and down always and this gives an avenue to buy Bitcoin but the people losing are those that refuse to buy because they decided not to believe in Bitcoin hence they miss out on an avenue to make profit. There were people that refused to buy Bitcoin when it was cheaper than it is now and they are angry.

It is happening. I know people who underestimated Bitcoin by refusing to buy it early in its journey. They thought Bitcoin was a scam. But over time, Bitcoin has made new history due to its popularity, privacy, and success. But seeing as Bitcoin's success trajectory is starting to break their mistakes, BTC is breaking all old records and making new ATHs. Which means the water is out of hand; now they cannot afford to buy them. As a result, they are very angry with themselves as well as repentant.

Although BTC is a volatile, unstable, and risky currency, it is currently very popular and in a strong position. None of us can tell the future, but we can hope; there is no doubt it will hit $100k in the future. But it is difficult to say when the right time will come. Maybe the time is too long or too close. But chances of reaching $100k this year are very low.

I also think that Bitcoin won't hit $100k this year, if we look at the 4-year cycle pattern of BTC, it should be hitting $100k next year (2025) together with making another record of new ATH  before it transitions to the bear market.  With the development of Bitcoin in each country, I think the positive regulation would bring more people to the Bitcoin economy, and if the network congestion problem is solved, I believe Bitcoin will reach a new height of success.

Looks like we won't hit $100k this year since the price itself just stay $65k below. So most probably, we will see new ATH by next year which I think a lot would agree. In fact, there's a possibility that bitcoin could even reach more than $100k, that's how unpredictable and powerful bitcoin is. For now, let's just enjoy some price correction that will enable us to buy more. And for those who have no reserved funds, hodling their bitcoin is still good enough.

It is till early to say that Bitcoin won't reach $100k  in this current bull run.  Do not be impatient and think that it won't perform what it did in the previous cycles.  We still have the whole year of 2025 to see whether Bitcoin will repeat the history or not. 

It has been observed that the prior year before Bitcoin broke ATH and recorded a new height (peak) of its bull run has to condition itself and perform a sideway seesaw trend before eventually catapulting the price resulting in a new ATH then transitioning to the bear market.

I first interested in Bitcoin solely because of how people talk about the gold narrative and it scarcity, I was a bit skeptical. But now the more people believe invest their money in it, I slowly believe that is close to become the digital gold narrative, although it not there yet.

There is a possibility of Bitcoin hitting $100k and above in the nearest future according to the prediction but concerning the price movement has been unstable there is a possibility of Bitcoin dropping below the $60k which we have seen in the last few months which will give more opportunities for buyers and holders as said and we may also experience a positive growth in the price hitting $100k before the end of the year no one can get the actual prediction right now.

Bitcoin will grow more in the future and then you will remember today and regret not investing in Bitcoin in the future. Bitcoin may be sitting at $60,000 today but in the future when the price of Bitcoin is ten times higher, you will be reminded of today over and over again to regret it. I have a firm faith in Bitcoin that one day it will serve as an indicator of the wealth of people on earth, the more bitcoins they have, the richer they will be.

This why I starting to invest money on Bitcoin, I might started it very late compare to most people here, but it's better to be late than to be sorry especially after I learnt about the rise of Bitcoin price throughout these past few years.

My opinion is that it is the best investment you can make, not just for its potential to rise in price over the years. Simply being your own bank makes it stand out from the crowd. Can you imagine that being possible in the past. You can send large amounts of money across the world for less than the price of a shipping label. We are still early, Bitcoin is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

At the beginning of the Bitcoin journey, it was underestimated. People weren't able to imagine Bitcoin would grow this way. It's surprising for a beginning Bitcoin supporter who joined earlier. Most of them spent their holding, like buying pizza, as we all know the history. But for us, we are witnessing how Bitcoin is growing since we joined later. To imagine a Bitcoin future, we just need to study Bitcoin history. We can't exactly predict the future, but we may imagine where Bitcoin will reach. Once a time, buying one Bitcoin would be a dream. But still, it's at a reasonable price, and we aren't buying. Definitely, we have to regret those who aren't holding Bitcoin. 

That's the most exciting with bitcoin, its market is very unpredictable and yet we're still certain as to where bitcoin's future is heading. No wonder why a lot would crave to own bitcoin because bitcoin is the future. Lucky are those who have bought bitcoin in the early years and have owned a good amount now, but that doesn't mean that beginners have less chances to invest now, of course there's still a lot of opportunities now to invest.

My Bitcoin journey started for a long time but I started my Bitcoin journey in late 2022. Like you, I've seen a lot of bitcoin price ups and downs but unfortunately failed to find the money to invest in bitcoins. If Bitcoin touches the $100k line in the future I will most likely not have enough money to invest. Because I currently have to maintain my education expenses with my bitcoin income, it will likely be very difficult for me to come up with enough dollars to invest, no matter how much the price rises in the future.

Bitcoin is good. Despite that I have seen so many coins and even invested in them, at the end of the day I still go back to Bitcoin. Other cryptocurrencies are just like side chicks, while Bitcoin remains the main chick that you will always go back home to 

among all the cryptocurrencies bitcoin is the most volatile coin among all, but the thing is that people don't like to invest on bitcoin due to the ways of increment, I believe that bitcoin as a coin gives rise to most of the coins that people prefer to invest today instead of bitcoin, from my research I found out that why people do like to invest in altcoins is because altcoins when you invest on it and it happens that the coin is progressing in the market you are in better chances of making three times of what you invested from, so I believe that is most reasons people invest in altcoins.

The story about early Bitcoin owners losing coins is not new. I don't blame most of them because it would be hard to believe that Bitcoin with get to this extent considering that it was a strange technology. Some lost access to their wallets while others sold the coins they had very cheaply.

Bitcoin is now popular among big institutions and the government. One cannot discuss the financial system, especially investment and currency without mentioning Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is unpredictable but it is generally believed that it will get to $100k especially if the global economy recovers. The market might turn green for a long time if the US Federal Reserve reduces interest rates consistently in this last quarter.

I know you didn't take action when you seen the up and down of BTC movement some years ago, because many people thought it will not get to where it is now before it will disappear, but those people that understand what BTC will turn into in the future made a good decision to invested what they can afford to lose. And it has made many people to earn a lot of profits from BTC because they invest when the price was very low and they sold their BTC when price hit higher in the market, and still they are still investing in BTC because they believe, it will go higher more than $100k in the future.

If you have not increase your capital in BTC investment, I will advise you to increase it this year because the price will surprise those who don't believe in the future of BTC.

I used to trade forex and stocks back in 2012. And back then I assumed it was a scam. Because all over the MSM and many finance website, it kept talking about how bitcoin is risky because one day it fell to like $1 during a crash. So I avoided it.

It was years later that someone told me about mining Dogecoin for money and I got interested and bought some GPUs and the rest is history. Later I learnt what bitcoin is all about and been here every since. Its similar to what Trump felt about crypto at first, he didn't like them but years later they grew on him.
