It surprises me that you have been familiar with bitcoin since 2012, and you are just joining the forum this year. Most of the people that knew about bitcoin since the early stage have been on the forum for some time, because whenever you search for some information about bitcoin on Google, then you might be directed to the forum sometimes to get their answer.

I have seen the Up and Down of BTC, but I could not imagine that it slowly became so popular. Now, I think BTC will do very well in the near future. It is still in very good shape, though. It will cross 100k+ very soon. What is your personal opinion about BTC?

Everyone is expecting bitcoin to be above $100k, but nobody knows when that’s going to happen, and everyone knows that bitcoin is going to perform well in the nearest future. Whenever I meet people, I do tell them that the bitcoin price is still low, and we should see how bitcoin is going to perform in the next maybe 10 years.

Bitcoin price is increasing day by day, will increase more in future. If we go back 10 years ago then we regret why we didn't invest 10 years ago. 10 years from now will regret the present again. Many people predict that Bitcoin will hit $1 million dollars, I also believe that Bitcoin will definitely hit $1 million dollars in the future. However we may see a bull run soon and Bitcoin may hit $100k in the upcoming bull run. Currently Bitcoin is very reliable, because Bitcoin has been able to recover from huge downs. Bitcoin hit $69k in 2021, dropped to $16k in 2023 but the market recovered within a year. So investing in bitcoins is very low risk, if you can hold for long term you can definitely profit. Bitcoin is currently very popular and will gain more popularity in the future.

Reviewing the history of Bitcoin we can see how low the price of Bitcoin was in the beginning. Since the creation of Bitcoin, no one could have imagined that the price of Bitcoin would reach such a high level.

We may have gone through a dip season in the market in 2023 as well where the price of one Bitcoin dropped by around $25,000. Since then the price of Bitcoin has steadily increased and the bullish season in the market has made new Bitcoin price history (ATH). I see many members on this forum often saying that Bitcoin price will touch $100k dollars this year. My personal opinion on this is that Bitcoin price going as high or as low as it is not beneficial to you if you don't own Bitcoin. So invest with the funds you have so that you don't have to regret when the price of Bitcoin rises to a higher level later on.

If each bitcoin hits $1 million, that would mean bitcoin's market capitalization would be $21 trillion and surpass an asset that has been around for thousands of years, gold. Just because bitcoin has grown millions of percent in the past doesn't mean it will continue to grow that way in the future. I really want that to happen but I really doubt it.

As you said, the bitcoin price dropped from $69k to $16k and rose to $70k. Does that mean bitcoin is very volatile and a 70% drop in bitcoin in a short period of time is considered low risk? I don't think so. Apart from volatility, we need to consider other factors like its legitimacy, popularity and role in the world…all of which suggest that it is a low-risk asset. No asset can give high returns with low risk.

If actually and truly you've known about bitcoin since 2012, then I can only imagine how rich you must be now, but if you are still not rich yet, then I am very surprised 🤨

Anyways, I feel that saying that Bitcoin will do well in the near future is an under-statement, maybe you've been out of touch with reality and it's only of recent that you came back to your normal self again.
Looking at where bitcoin began it's journey from, and comparing it to where it is today, man, bitcoin has already done really well, it can only continue to do well even further into the future, not that it will do well in the future.

And your prediction of $100k for 1 bitcoin in the very near future is very valid, and I agree with that, though many expected that even as far as some few months back, that the price of bitcoin will hit $100k, it didn't happen then, but from now, this will happen sooner than any of us think.

I also think that Bitcoin won't hit $100k this year, if we look at the 4-year cycle pattern of BTC, it should be hitting $100k next year (2025) together with making another record of new ATH  before it transitions to the bear market.  With the development of Bitcoin in each country, I think the positive regulation would bring more people to the Bitcoin economy, and if the network congestion problem is solved, I believe Bitcoin will reach a new height of success.

That is what the market looks like, as for some time ago when we had a little bull season which made it look like hitting $100k is not much of a problem, now we see how difficult it is even for the market to maintain it's price at $60k, this clears all assumptions if truly Bitcoin will cross $100k, the charts and price movements doesn't guarantee the price of Bitcoin to reach such level. We must try to remain positive, can't stay forever on this declined market definitely we are going to raise a new ATH other than what we have as of now.

I have developed a positive mindset about Bitcoin by believing that no matter how long it remains in dip that there's certainty that it will rise again to reach new ATH, so I don't worry about when price will reach $100k. My strategy is buy as much as I can in this dip, hodl and wait for bull run when I will see the reward for my wait in returns on investment. My opinion about Bitcoin investment is that it is a store of value that you hodl for a long term to see profit from it so short term speculations is not a problem for me because I don't plan to sale during dip. The plan remains buy, hodl and wait till I see my anticipated price.

Bitcoin is good. Despite that I have seen so many coins and even invested in them, at the end of the day I still go back to Bitcoin. Other cryptocurrencies are just like side chicks, while Bitcoin remains the main chick that you will always go back home to 

among all the cryptocurrencies bitcoin is the most volatile coin among all, but the thing is that people don't like to invest on bitcoin due to the ways of increment, I believe that bitcoin as a coin gives rise to most of the coins that people prefer to invest today instead of bitcoin, from my research I found out that why people do like to invest in altcoins is because altcoins when you invest on it and it happens that the coin is progressing in the market you are in better chances of making three times of what you invested from, so I believe that is most reasons people invest in altcoins.

Right now we may not come to the agreement that Bitcoin is the most volatile, we can count a few more cryptocurrency that has recorded higher percentage of volatility compared to Bitcoin. Those who would prefer Altcoins rather than Bitcoin are those who do not value their investment capital, why would I think to DCA my income into something that ends up being a probability of giving profits or not whereas with Bitcoin there is 100%  assurance of making profits. Sometimes we have to tear out from greed and commit to where our funds are safe, Bitcoin may not give X3 or X10 in a shorter time frame but definitely it will while holding but yet investors are not meant to incur any form of losses compared to most cryptocurrency especially to those not correlated with Bitcoin.

That's quite a long time and I think you have felt so many benefits from Bitcoin after knowing it from that year until now, but why didn't you decide to enter this forum at that time to get more knowledge and income through the forum? because in the past there must have been many programs that were quite profitable for many people including people who like to collect Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will indeed remain good without having to be given an opinion from anyone because it has been clearly seen at this time through Bitcoin's journey since it was created until now. So without giving an opinion, Bitcoin has shown that it can get better over time because there are many fans who really like to buy and store Bitcoin in large amounts at the moment.

It seems not this year because the price of the bitcoin after the halving most likely next year before it rose up with your prediction of 100k I guess its not impossible we know how people keep continuously supporting the use of the bitcoin as investment into projects and payments, as you were saying that you know bitcoin already did you hold up your coins too since you know it or you are just getting accumulation right now after you've seen the potential of it?.

Bitcoin has an ever-increasing value and trust so that Bitcoin is trusted. Trust in the repetitive cycle is a great hope for the owner, including me. What is the motive? Honestly I got into crypto because the value of Bitcoin is not the technology. I need money to improve my economic condition. I think very few people are concentrating on the technology. Today Bitcoin has become a pioneer in the crypto industry.

For the Bitcoin's market valuation, I'm pretty confident with crossing over 100k in this cycle and for sure we are gonna hit an optimistic target of 120k by the end of this cycle in my personal speculation and analysis.

Then regarding the price, if taken into account from the previous phase, the price is quite realistic. But I also believe this Bitcoin will always have surprises that are difficult to predict.

My personal opinion about Bitcoin? Hmmm what can I say about it.

Bitcoin is the future. Bitcoin is the new Gold. Bitcoin is the way for us average Joe's to become rich. Bitcoin will help us be a millionaire. Bitcoin is the way, the truth and the light (I'm kidding on this one). Bitcoin?? You know what? Just invest into it.

Kidding aside, Bitcoin is in good hands... for now because we don't know what can happen on it in the following decades. Bitcoin will reach $100,000 that's for sure. It's only a matter of time until it reaches that price. I wonder where are those anti-Bitcoin back a few years ago are now. Those who are saying that "Bitcoin is dead" or "Bitcoin will go to 0" blah blah. Well, it's rare to see a user here that's newbie ranked but has been involved into Bitcoin already for more than a decade.

Can I ask you OP if you bought Bitcoin in 2012? If yes, did you manage to hold it until now, or you're like the other early adopters as well who sold their Bitcoins when they saw that they doubled or tripled their money already.

I have been into Cryptocurrencies since late 2017 when Bitcoin first had a big ATH of $20k then Bitcoin price went down to $3200 I saw that but I was still too stupid that's why I didn't buy and hold Bitcoin then. Then again Bitcoin made a huge ATH to $68k and then again went down to below $16k.  Although at that time I planned that if the price of Bitcoin dropped to $12k I would buy 1 whole Bitcoin. However, my hope was not fulfilled as the price of Bitcoin then rose again.  And then it doesn't go below $50k anymore. This is my story with Bitcoin.  But now I am saving some money in Bitcoin as per DCA strategy

Try to imagine that you don't sell bitcoin from 2012 at least until 2017 you will become rich... But that's the past that is difficult to repeat again when looking forward.

Personal opinion about BTC to the price of $100K has become a belief so until now to keep HODL even though now the price of bitcoin is higher than before, we still want a 3-digit number in 2025, so we wait to see where bitcoin grows during this time.

On this forum, almost everyone will have a positive opinion about bitcoin (and what did you expect on a forum called bitcointalk?) and everyone's expectations are also connected with the future growth of bitcoin.

Talks about overcoming the $100k mark have been going on for so long that even non-believers in this forum have already believed in the probability of this. I am one of those who assumes that bitcoin will reach this level, but I doubt that in the near future. Certainly not tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, but probably within the next year or year and a half.

Such news should be categorized under political statements and emotional triggers, these statements should not be treated as reliable possible developments, because most of these statements are used in marketing and political campaigns. Keep hodling, apply a DCA strategy, be patient and don't lose focus on your long term goal of selling Bitcoin at a high price. Bitcoin is crossing a $100k benchmark, but we don't know how soon it will be. All eyes are for it to happen next year probably. You can believe that if you want, to use this time Bitcoin is fluctuating at a price range of $59k-61k, to buy additional satoshi at a discount price weekly or monthly depending on how spare money enters your pocket

Yeah, this is a time to hodl if possible accumulate more Bitcoins because the price will surely reach $100k and even above in 2025 so what will make us to be excited when the price reach $100k is the amount of Bitcoins we have in our custody. People should not be too anxious about the price of Bitcoin getting to $100k because if we are to check the progress of Bitcoin from the past until now, it has recorded significant growth and increase in it's awareness as many people are investing in Bitcoin and it has become the fastest growing assets so far as digital assets and cryptocurrency is concerned so we should go for value and not just some hype coins that can't stand in the market for a long time and don't have market values.

The expectation for 100k was high this year even with halving and ETF but their was an increase but not people's expectation, we know it will happen but no one knows when it is going to happen, I noticed that it is when you are expecting too much that is when it will not even happen, and I have learned to always reduce my expectation, so that if it does not work according to plan it will then be easily accepted and you will move on, no matter the disappointment that bitcoin will come with people are still going to invest in it that is just people for you, they already know the value of bitcoin and they will never do anything happen to their assets they will continue to hold and that is one thing about those that are investing in bitcoin they take holding very seriously. And for the fact that their is a mark that bitcoin will hit 100k people will do everything possible to hold till it hits that line, since business needs to be taking seriously.

No one ever imagined that and also the earliest adopters of bitcoin didn’t know that it will be something so big today and have such a very big value in price. Bitcoin is going to cross the $100K mark, this is what almost everyone believes because of how bitcoin have came to be today since inception of it. When and how it’ll happen is what becomes unknown to everyone and people making use of past experiences of the market to predict what they think. I also have the same thoughts of it happening anytime soon, by end of the year or early next year but the exact time still unknown to us all, so let it be a predictive value and not a certainty yet until the market plays out by itself.
