Carabao final game will likely be Manchester City against Arsenal, because without doubt we know that Chelsea will not be able to do anything tangible in that game. We all saw their performance yesterday; it was very disappointing, which is just as you say. On the other hand, Arsenal are consistent and focused on a bigger goal, so they will not forfeit such opportunities for Chelsea. While I totally agree that Arsenal have been a better team than Chelsea since the start of the season, I don't think it's enough reason to write off the Blues. Chelsea if we can remember is known to be a club that wins you trophies when they're not the favourites and having a team with a certain Cole Palmer who can single handedly boss an entire game and help you win it, it'll be a very big mistake for Arsenal to underrate the potential of their semi final opponents.
Arsenal are favoured to reach the final but w won't be too surprised if Chelsea progresses and even go on to beat whichever ever opponent they'll play against including Manchester City.

I really want Arsenal to lift the trophy however we must not underestimate Chelsea it is true that Arsenal is very inform this season and they are doing very well but Chelsea is very good at playing big team it may surprise you that Chelsea might end up winning Arsenal in the match because they are always determine and good in playing bigger team, but one thing that will affect Chelsea is that they have sacked their coach and for this it will affect them because no coach will coach them right now will be very comfortable with them and knowing the right place the players fit in except the assistant coach will take over from the sacked coach.

New coach is announced, he is going to start his job with few interesting games, first visiting Charlton for FA Cup game then hosting of premier league leader Arsenal for the EFL Cup semifinal and on 17th January hosting Brentford for the premier league game.

In two weeks of time, 4 games and few are not easy because hosting Arsenal for spot into final is definitely not easier while Brentford is also on good run and 22nd January Pafos is also coming for champions league. January is always challenging for teams but now this time Chelsea needs to manage things on good level otherwise their last 10 games turned with just 2 wins but 4 draws and 4 loses, these results may make their season worst.

It's just unfortunate that most of the big teams in premier league are not the way they used to be, especially Chelsea and Manchester united they were just the favorite in the premier league but right now they are just struggling to meet up to their normal form yet coaches problem still bringing them down. Well, since the match would be play in the Stamford Bridge we shouldn't rely heavily on Arsenal because Chelsea would want to win the game since they don't have any title race they would like to reach the final.

Before facing Chelsea, today Arsenal will face Portsmouth today in FA Cup 3rd round match and its important to make rotation to play well at EFL Cup match. Well, Chelsea started popping with the arrival of Abramovich, and they started degrading either the exit of Abramovich. Who's to be blamed?! Guardiola's team is of course favoured as usual but not a very clear one by the odds. They have 2.16 odds for the victory. To tell the truth I don't expect them to win this match despite knowing their huge win like 10-1 against Exeter yesterday.

These aren't the same things. Newcastle is a far more challenging opponent. Besides maybe Guardiola might even go for some rotation due to tight fixtures. I'd rather try my luck with Newcastle's double chance at 1.64.

I agree that Chelsea do put some extra ordinary performance when playing against strong teams, but do you even think Chelsea will be able to win Arsenal in the semi final? As we can see Chelsea just signed a new coach, and he hasn’t been able to familiarize himself with the team, Chelsea are still struggling, and it’s going to take some time before the new coach is going to adapt with the team.

I agree with you that unlike while we all want Arsenal to actually aim for the biggest trophies possible in the country I think the EFL carabao cup will be more important to them Chelsea. For Chelsea this doesn’t take them out of their misery at the moment because this will definitely be Just like either another conference cup or club World Cup that they lifted. Rather it’s best they go trophyless so that they would get the board to pay attention that the team needs reinforcement.

As for Arsenal I have said that while Arteta has actually change a lot positive about the club since his arrival with the club now an every season title contender unlike before. But there is no success without prove of success and to be sincere Arteta without winning any trophy at Arsenal is just like Emery at Aston Villa. I think this EFL will be Arteta trophy in the long run should he get to lift it and will prepare the players mentally to go all in for the league.

As for Manchester City I think that Pep hasn’t made this trophy that much of a trophy since he arrives in the league and that’s why he gets knocked out easily in it, while it’s against Newcastle who will want to retain their title other than giving it away

For Arsenal and Chelsea, the situation will be different since both teams will try to win anything this season regardless of the trophy and how important it is. Chelsea is less advantageous with the results that are showing except the last match in FA Cup.

I agree with the sentiment that Newcastle are actually poor this season and a very improved Manchester City of they turn up will easily win this game, but I tell you one thing there is no many club in the league that be poor in all competitions in the season and still turn up in matches that they will actually win regardless of how good the opponent is. I also think though that probably Pep will be looking to lift this trophy to help them boost their morale too for the league but it’s seriously might be a difficult game for them if they want to make it like that for Manchester City

Well, there is a record that is currently on ground, and that's Arsenal has never lost a game to Chelsea since 2021, which means it's either going to be a draw at Stamford bridge, or Arsenal might just end up getting a win with a small margin. I honestly don't think it's going to be an easy one, even though Chelsea hasn't been good lately. But I feel they have the strength in them to fight till the very end because it's going to be a derby between the two top London sides.

I will stick with the H2H record. A win or draw for the gunners. While in the return leg, the gunners stands a better chance with no doubt.
