Poor people dress like how they think rich people dress. Poor people do not have a lot of expensive clothing and luxury items so once they have at least once they will bring it with them everywhere and show it off as much as they can.

While rich people, and I mean the richest ones, are more quiet and classy about their clothes. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still very expensive but it doesn’t look cheap and tacky. Most likely the brands they wear are so expensive that most people have not even heard of it which is why probably people think the rich are not wearing something expensive. Rich people are not buying cheap clothes. They are just not showing off their wealth because they don’t need to be validated.

Even if they want to look rich, but poor people do not have the capabilities to afford the luxury that rich people can easily get. That's why when it comes to luxurious outfits and materials, it's only the real rich ones can actually afford to buy it, while the poor ones may only afford those class A items, not actually the original ones, so they can still look rich and classy like how the rich ones  were seen.

Even if they don't spend a lot of money on clothes or other technology, I'm sure they have a taste for spending a lot of money.

There is a difference between the rich and the poor more especially in terms of there thinking from the two image above you will notice that the poor man is trying to deceive the world but when reality will hit him that's when he will realise that he is deceiving himself. The poor thinks that the cloth ,jewelry ,cars and the money a Richman have in his pocket is what makes them rich. So they end up acquiring all this thing without knowing that they are acquiring liabilities. The rich is rich because there liabilities can not equate there asset while the poor are poor because there income cannot equate there liabilities. Well, A lot of people are focused on showing off an image of wealth, despite not actually having any riches. While purchasing counterfeit luxury items might offer them the look they want, in truth, this doesn’t always equate to their real situation.

Also individuals who are really wealthy can more easily secure luxury and products of excellent quality. Even if image may not symbolize everything, it tends to take an important part in shaping our societal perception. It’s important to respect ourselves without regard for the things we have. Considering how we regard ourselves and socialize with others is as important as thinking about what we wear.

I would not call that a way of deceiving the world by the poor but I'd say the poor man is trying to meet up to the rich man's standard, if he doesn't do that he (the poor man) feels he can't get any where near the rich man and the rich man's life style is also the cause of what's making the poor to dress like they are the rich one while the rich just pick anything as long as they're comfortable and put on, no one can say to the rich man that he's putting on rags or whatever.
Dressing matters but the personality of the rich tells a lot about him but the poor man needs more than dressing like a rich man before he can blend in easily. For the poor man I'd call it fake life because they're not being real to the public, you're poor doesn't mean you have dress like a mad man, being real is more important than dressing very high while to eat 3 times a day is a major problem, another question for the poor who dress in an expensive way, can they keep up dressing in an expensive?🤔

It's fine to wear expensive clothes if that's your way of motivating yourself and it's also part of your career to wear neat and expensive clothes.

But as for me, I don't wear any of them. I don't buy expensive clothes and I am not into fashion and that's why I am okay to wear cheap clothes and I don't mind people talking about what I wear. What matters to me is that I am buying it with my own money, not with credit and I'm comfortable with what I buy.

People look at the expensive brands to wear and they have the same mindset that those that wear it are social climbers.

I agree with you that buy good and expensive things is actually a choice and their are rich people that they are entitled to their opinion on how to dress simple while others love exotic lifestyle and many more so their is nothing more than doing what you enjoying doing most because their is a lot of people that will think that maybe its because of their personality so we just have learn to understand what people love. Looking nice is just another way of making your self presentable, and those that do business and deals should know what am talking about because when you meet people that is exactly how they will judge you so you need to be addressed properly. Yes, it's true, bro, nowadays there are many rich people whose lives are simpler than the poor who live with all the luxuries, sometimes rich people don't mean they can't afford luxury goods, but they use their respective wealth appropriately and they don't use it all in vain. The ways of spending is subjective and it's not about been rich or been poor. There are rich people that love show off but the way they do it might be different. When an hustling guy or lady dress, you will know that indeed these person is not wealthy but they are doing well, even from the dressing and fashion trends you will know. However, when a wealthy person want to spend on wears, they don't go for trends but expensive items, they can wear a classic gold necklace of $100k and nobody will know because they don't like show off.

Some of them spend recklessly but they do it in way the don't lose, they spend by investing something that will be worth something tomorrow. Check their cars, they love buying limited edition cars because such cars are worth money tomorrow, when they buy watches they go for diamond design because such can be resale later for profits but when poor or average guys go for Gucci bags and Fendi, such things doesn't Hava a resale value, that's the difference between the rich and the poor.

There are luxury goods that are above a certain quality, as well as those that are of standard quality and sold at a high price. In other words, it is not necessary to criticize someone who can pay for a quality product, or it may not be right to make certain inferences based on the money they pay for that product.

Yes, it is true, having a luxurious standard of living is the dream of most people, wearing luxurious clothes and expensive equipment can increase our self-worth in the eyes of others, you will be more respected and considered not an ordinary person, I want it too, but I don't want to make my life more difficult just for something that is not very useful for my life, unless I am a billionaire who has a lot of money.

Remember that other people will never care about how difficult you are, you have a lot of luxury goods but behind the scenes you also have a lot of installments that you have to pay to pay off all the luxury goods that you have taken, it is a situation that is really full of tension and pressure, as I said above that other people will not care about the difficulties you experience, meaning this is a choice, you are free to choose one of two options between looking simple but living comfortably or looking luxurious but full of pressure.

But on the other hand, I might not have a problem with it when a high lifestyle contributes equally to you, such as using or wearing luxury goods as a way to promote the goods and you get a few percent profit when many people are interested in buying them, as influencers, content creators or celebrities do.
