Another win and achievement for Ronaldo. Portugal played very well, did not lose their heads even when Spain got in front twice. I think the experience that the majority of the players had come into play there for a moment for the Portuguese.
This Spanish team on their own need not be bothered, they are young and still have enough time to dominate world football. Everything is right for the team, they need to now just grow and develop together. They have the best talents in the world.

A good realistic review about both teams I have to be follow you about this Portugal was well experienced team which play good even after two time going down while Spain was surely ahead but they have young and skilled players those could be at his best until World Cup.

A meaningful victory for a Cr7 at his age, it was quite touching to see him cry with what he achieved until this point.
I highlight the performance of Nuno Mendes and Vitinha, both were extraordinary. The contribution of the flow of the ball was an important role in Portugal victory in an effort to catch up. I was even surprised to see Yamal unable to move under Mendes' supervision, to be honest in this match Yamal's movement was very limited.

Watching the performance of Portugal yesterday I see more reason why the team will always put Ronaldo in front of the team because his experience has brought a lot of energy to the team followed by his ability to appear whenever they have the opportunity to equalize in order to come back against any team.

Ronaldo has won another trophy at 40 years old and his ability to inspire players like Mendes who is the star player of the competition is something a great team should have. Yamal and his team mates tried but penalties is a 50:50 game and the luck was on Portugal to win and they won.

I think the Nations Cup event was a good cup. It was nice to have this cup instead of friendly matches. Something caught my attention. The Spanish lost but they were not very upset. If they increase the value of this cup a little more, it would be great in terms of material and spiritual income.

i don't think spain was as planned and organized as they were against france. everyone talks about lamine yamal not doing anything, but i don't think it was only yamal. almost the only attacking style spain had throughout the match was pressing from the left with nico williams and cucurella.

maybe as a team they didn't want to go to yamal's side too much, i don't know, but he had a big influence on the first goal of spain. i think yamal could have been used better in this match. mendes put yamal under pressure and he had a very good game, that also had an effect.

In my previous post, i said that as a neutral viewer i was hoping for extra time and penalties. And that’s exactly what happened. I also mentioned that Portugal struggled in the first half, but played excellently in the second and were the better team they deserved the win. Ronaldo proved once again that he is the G.O.A.T.I do feel a bit sorry for Álvaro Morata, but that’s football  someone had to lose. I also believe that this Spain team will win many trophies in the future they’re full of young and fast players. Congratulations to Portugal!

I can't argue that Spain didn't dominate the game because they did. They're a solid team that I respect a lot and often back from time to time. However, I want to point out that while Portugal were lucky in the end, that penalty that Morata took was a very poor one. I had my doubts when I saw him get subbed in late in the game and  his movement to the penalty spot was sluggish and sus. I wasn't surprised when he missed it! Very easy kick.

I'm happy for Ronaldo because He's the GOAT and it would be very entertaining if we get one last dance if him and Messi blessed up with another World cup participation. Portugal won today for Ronaldo.

Indeed, Lamine Yamal looked less dominant in the match, especially Nuno Mendes often managed to stop the movement of the ball at Yamal's feet, making him play under pressure and unable to move freely, but in the match Portugal did deserve to come out as the winner and I do not agree if it is said that their victory was obtained because of luck because there were Portuguese team players who were indeed the key to their victory, one of them was Diogo Costa who managed to save two kicks that shot towards the Portuguese goal and he was also able to ward off Morata kick during the penalty shootout so that the Portuguese team was able to lift the trophy.

 I also noticed that Spain weren't that bothered that they lost to Portugal. To me it's as if they were even glad that it was to a team like Portugal and not either France ot Germany because Portugal team are much fierce than those two combined.
Both teams have won this tournament one apiece but it looked as if Portugal needed the win more than Spain and I don't really know why, maybe for bragging rights or to add more trophies to their chest, I dunno but it's a good thing that Portugal and Ronaldo especially were able to lift a trophy, since I doubt that he did get anything at Saudi Arabia. At least a trophy to crown his new age isn't a bad thing after all.

France after being defeated by Barcelona with a score of 5-4 but in last night's match France really played very well and they managed to beat Germany with a score of 0-2 and the goals were scored by Mbappe and Olise. now because France has managed to beat Germany now France has finally become the 3rd champion and of course this can still be said to be good than not finishing in 3rd place at all. but what I like is Mbappe he is really always great when competing and always scores goals and now France must be very proud to have a player like Mbappe.

but actually Germany also performed well even though they ended up losing. because in that match Germany really had time to make France overwhelmed and if there had been no violations like when Deniz scored a goal maybe the score would have been 1-2 but unfortunately at that time there was a violation so the goal was invalid which ended up being 2-0 for France's victory. now France's struggle has finished here and of course they have to be satisfied with finishing in 3rd place and Germany also has to be satisfied with finishing in 4th place. but fortunately in that match I bet on France's victory, what about you? but the scene that I liked in that match was when Olise scored a goal and there you can see the German goalkeeper fighting alone. Just ignore anyone who made an excuse for spain's lose. It's all because their can't accept if they got beaten by Dodo and Portugal. Yeah i meant seeing people who made an excuse when facing the lose is a common thing these days.

I don’t think the reason was Rodri’s absence, Spain looked very strong even without him. It’s just that Portugal are in great form right now as well and they look very solid in almost every position. It was a great final, both teams were very strong and each of them deserved to win. I don’t see anything surprising in the fact that the winner was decided by a penalty shootout. It just happened that Portugal were a bit luckier, penalties are always a bit of a lottery.

Usually I don't want the match to continue until the penalty shootout. But I exclude last night's match. Because for this match I was really amazed by the performance of these two teams. especially Spain with their young players who have great potential in the long term. So yes, they will definitely get lots of trophies in the future with the Spanish national team. Because they have speed, good chemistry, sharp attacks and also solid defense.

But I was also very impressed with the way Portugal played. They were full of fighting spirit and I was really amazed at Cristiano Ronaldo who scored a goal in that match. He is 40 years old but is still able to play and compete with the young players on the team. And I think it is very rare for us to find other players who are the same age as Cristiano Ronaldo. So yes, he is indeed the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT).

Aaarrgh that's just a defense of fans who don't accept defeat. So don't take it too seriously, because the presence or absence of Rodri is not a 100% guarantee that Spain can win the match. Facts must be accepted and losing is common in every match, so there is no need to find an excuse to deny Portugal's victory. Spain has played well, they did it very well but playing well on the field is not enough. Maintaining mentality until the end of the match is not always on the side that plays well, right?

There will always be reasons for teams that fail to win, and it is natural, one of them is because they do not accept defeat or they do not accept their team has to lose. People say, the winner will celebrate and the loser will explain and that is true.

Honestly if they complain about a particular player not being in play for their loss then they don't have words to say, what if this same player played and got injured? Excuses will always come up and for the game yesterday I think Spain did what I was expecting Portugal (always feed Ronaldo the ball) to do, always play the ball to Yamal, always using his wing, as soon as Mendez shut Yamal up the Spanish side became weak which is what I felt made them lose. They made Yamal the king of their play and they also wanted every award to go to him but they forget that Nico was also deadly in that game, they some how underrated Portugal.
If you talk about playing bad ball Portugal did, they couldn't concentrate and their passes was very poor which made Spain to get two goals but as soon as Yamal stopped functioning their play went offline. Portugal winning against Germany wasn't luck same as winning against Spain, anybody who watched when France played Germany and won they'd know Portugal won without the mention of luck.

Yeah, the both teams performed very well especially Portugal they didn't allow the young talents of the Spanish team to outsmart them, after the first half I guess they realized it was a final and a trophy was at stake. Talking about Spains younger players, I think Yamal was given a tough marking it seems that some of those Portuguese defenders have encountered him in the past so they had the experience to mark him out of the game, if Yamal had his way, I believe Spain would've won Portugal but thanks to Mendes and his colleagues. Cristiano Ronaldo was really impressive in that match, he led his team to victory, that goal was an encouragement to his teammates that's why they held Spain to a full-time draw and made no errors in the penalty shootout.

Yeah and Spain has scored Portugal 2:1, although at some point on the first half it was 1:1 between them but Oyarzabal didn't want them to go to the second half without there club being the leading side, Ronaldo hasn't made much impact of scoring as the other match but however there spirit on this second half is not what we saw on the first because Bruno Fernandez nearly had a goal to make it the same as the Spanish side, so now if not for the two Spain has the game is very equal from how there possession is, Ronaldo has just done it now for portugal because he has now brought their second goal.

But in the second half Portugal have gotten themselves back into the game with an equaliser from their attacking maestro, Christiano Ronaldo making the scoreline 2-2, and it seems like we might be heading to extra time except the either sides decide otherwise. But I will prefer this game heads to extra half because am really enjoying the performance of both teams.

They got themselves truly on the first half, Roberto Martínez second half method was implemented well because I see that his new method wasn't only about defending as first half but this time was more taking it to Spain door step and that was when Ronaldo began to see his kind of ball and he makes sure that no opportunity will be misused and until the equalizing pass came and he was with his strong opponent Marc Cucurella but his advantage became his strength and height since Marc Cucurella wasn't that tall so Ronaldo use it for his benefits and before Marc Cucurella could turn back and intercept Ronaldo has started celebrating his goal.

Rodri has been injured for a long time and besides Spain has learned to play without him and France won before without him, but Portugal always play well in key games and yesterday's game reminded me of Portugal's path to victory in Euro 2016 when not the strongest but very organized team won the trophy.

Spain as in 2020 lost because of Morata, who fails for the second time to score such an important penalty.
I think it's a coaching mistake to release Morata 10 minutes before the end of the game, knowing that he is already going through the 2020.
In general, this is a victory for Ronaldo and Mendes and Spain's defeat can probably be attributed to De La Fuente, who did not guess with the substitutions, just like in the match against France, when the substitutions of the Spanish national team weakened it every time.
