Good, so you guys decided to expand your business in the oldest crrypto forum, which Satoshi created over a decade ago. Unfortunately, you have created this thread in the wrong section. The correct section is Exchanges . You can move this thread to the correct section. Scroll down to this thread; you will see the Move Topic button in the bottom left corner. Click on it, select Exchange Board, and move it. Moreover, You should take a copper membership, which you can buy from here to post images. I noticed the minimum amount to swap BTC is 100 USD. This is better than some competitors, but still quite high in my opinion. As we can pay as little as 0.25 $ for a bitcoin transfer, I don`t see reason for such high amounts for a minimum swap...

Swapuz.com was registered in 2021, did the company have another URL or did the company actually start in 2021?

The service is CEX. It is true that exchange is instant, but Swapuz can freeze the transaction, return , complete , deduct from it, and have full control over the deposit and withdrawal addresses, which is the definition of CEX.

The design of the site is similar to changelly, even the logo is similar to this service, so is there any connection between the two services?

Swapuz is a known ChangeNOW reseller that also operate another website called Exolix (which also resells ChangeNOW).

In fact both Swapuz and Exolix were listed by KycNotMe back in time till someone reported this "incident" directly to KycNotMe admin, which resulted into immediate delisting of Swapuz from KycNotMe.

However, up to this date, both Swapuz and Exolix reps still continue to lie to general public pretending that these websites do not have any relation between them, even that they were busted due to such a rookie mistake back in time.

Till both Swapuz and Exolix start to admit they have a direct relation between them, it's better to avoid them as a dishonest project.

There was also an interesting thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5499189) that is now unfortunately unaccessible even to registered users investigating ChangeNOW company and its project circle operated with forged documents which mentioned Exolix as a part of their circle, which also leaves a lot of unanswered questions about Exolix (aka Swapuz).

Also given ChangeNOW's extremely bad reputation around this forum, it would be logical for them to sell their platform under many different names, therefore, again, be very careful with these exchangers.

It would be worth pointing out at least somewhere that they use ChangeNOW services and not their personal software and bankroll to ensure security and transparency, as they say:

I checked online for scam report and I can't find any but that does not mean that they are above standard just by associating themselves with scam platforms; they are partaking of their bad reputation.

They should address this issue, things will not got uncovered if they do not open a thread here, They must have been regretting creating an announcement; it backfired,d, and they are exposed.

Checking the site, I notice a big similarity to ChangeNow; the color combination is the same, and the design and format have similarity, so they really can't hide their associativity to ChangeNow.

I think they also have a bad reputation outside bitcointalk forum, and I am not counting reviews from Trustpilot that are mostly paid and fake.
That being said, ChangeNOW is probably also using other third party centralized exchanges, so you can expect a bunch of connection between many exchanges.
I would not risk my coins with any of this exchanges, and there are much better alternatives like eXch or decentralized alternatives.

The thing is, what happens when a ChangeNOW reseller gets an exchange request but later that is blocked upstream by ChangeNOW themselves to ask for KYC... does the user even hear about it?

What I'm thinking is the only way to resolve these manners is via email, which also entails sending your documents through email, and I guess possibly even to the reseller (!!! if true).

I have contacted Swapuz on chat several times, but their AML verification system (or something like that) is "temporarily unavailable"  for quite some time (i even tried today).

Swapuz looks a solid alternative to eXch, and I really want to send some coins there, but I need to be safe on the AML side because I don't wanna do KYC.

Fees are really good and I will be glad to become a customer
