I've check if Hong Kong and Portugal are allow online gambling, but it's only for casinos that obtain license or authorized by the government.

When workers wanted to be paid their salaries, the company they are working for deduct the tax from the workers salary and pay it as tax to the government. Gambling site should not be different if you win more than lose.

If gambling is illegal in a country, no citizens that will let the government know that they are gambling. Which means they are paying no tax.

I live in country that has ban on gambling in any form but so far have never had any problems with the government or legal authorities because there are no taxes and I gamble with crypto which makes it easy to make withdrawals or deposits.
There are no tax reports for every withdrawal because the withdrawal will go directly into the wallet or account on the crypto exchange that I use, there are many more conveniences such as the use of P2P which can sell crypto assets from gambling winnings that have been deposited in the exchange account and the provider can directly send fiat money to enter the bank account.
Moreover, countries that have complete ban on gambling also have many citizens who are gamblers, they must have their own way of dealing with all kinds of problems like in this context.

Same here, I don't have any problems playing with any casino's regardless of where the license came from, and our government are so lenient I would say that we don't need to declare our gambling taxes as far as I know.

So we might be just one of those lucky gamblers as well. It might be very complicated as well for those gambler who lives in a country like what the OP is and obviously it is going to be complicated as it could have legal problems in the future.

I don't know, I personally haven't declared any gambling tax(shh) but I would assume they would care more about the tax you are going to pay them instead of where you gambled.

This is correct. Casino profit will fall under the income tax if we will be honest on pur taxes. The problem about this is the regulations on taxes especially on 3rd world country department assign for taxes collection can’t track or monitor all the income of its citizens.

Authority will surely need to the full statement of you casino transactions since you will have a receipt if you cash out your chips.

Before I do not understand the Curacao license, but when the casino has determined with the player who is responsible for gambling I agree with this, apart from that I feel it is impossible for players to pay taxes to the government even though it is online gambling, players who do gambling Online in my opinion they visit the platform just to play even when winning, players can attract all their wins without any deductions such as tax because I think the tax that must be paid to the government is more the responsibility of the casino itself.

Don't people usually do KYC for that? And if the casino discovers that the player is from a country they deem illegal (whether it's by them or by the country), pretty sure they just outright deny/ban the user themselves so I don't think such situations would normally happen.

Now if it actually does happen, I don't think they'd even try to declare their taxes lol. I don't think most people do so even! And even if they do, I don't think they'd let them know it was from a banned casino in the first place. If they didn't even know how to do that they would've probably been stopped already by geo blocking or something imo.

Gambling is more illegal in some countries than it is in others. In some countries, there are laws against gambling, but these laws are not being taken seriously by the government until maybe there is a reason to, and gamblers who gamble there may still get away with it. People who gamble there do not care about checking licenses or the legality of gambling in their country because there has never been news of a gambler who faced legal action from the government. In some other countries, where they have same gambling laws that are taken more seriously, a gambler may face serious legal problems with the government if they are caught gambling. People who still gamble in such places are extremely careful with gambling and will not declare tax to the government.

I have not got caught up in any legal battle due to casino usage before even though not all casinos that I play on have license in my jurisdictions, but then gambling is not entirely illegal but most online fiat casino my country are all locally license which Indicate gambling friendliness from the government, but casino such as online cryptocurrency casino may not have license in my state but then since I am not directly involving the transfer to cash, and have to withdraw to exchange before selling for the Fiat I have no problem with the laws.

There are no clear rules when it comes to gambling in our country, or maybe they're just not enforced. Personally, I don’t have any issues with the gambling sites I play on, as long as my country isn’t on the restricted list. Technically, it would be easy for our government to track if we gamble, but since the law isn’t strictly enforced, there hasn't been any problem so far. Licensed casinos usually ask for kyc once you reach a certain thresh hold, so there really is no avoiding taxes unless you are using fake info somehow. I would suggest not using fake stuff and just paying the taxes to avoid losing everything and possibly prison.

In my understanding of this situation, it's all about cooperation but there is no way some countries' regulations/regulators will cooperate with some better sane countries that take regulation seriously because they are weak, this causes issues, especially due to the lack of viable communication. This is why they might disallow their countries' citizens/residents from opening an account with them.

However, it could be both ways, it might be the casino/sportsbook restricting the citizens/residents of certain countries from opening an account with them or the countries themselves. If it were to be the casino/sportsbook restricting it, my guess is that they do not want the legal trouble of such countries because they can't just avoid monies easily like that if not for an important reason(s).

If gambling is not allowed in a particular country, then it is illegal and people who gamble over there must be doing it in secret and there's no way they'll declare their gambling winnings in their tax returns.

I don't think if you're living in a country where gambling is illegal that you are going to declare your gambling tax, because you're putting yourself at risk by declaring it, If your country is banning gambling, they expect their people to abide by their law that they should not be involved in gambling.

By the use of VPN most of the time. Restricted users is gambling on crypto casino through bypassing country restrictions using VPN hoping they will not be asked to do KYC.
