Bitcoin lover, will you vote for Trump?

Well, I'm not going to vote for Trump because I don't live in the US, but if I could I don't think I would have been fobbed off by his support for bitcoin at the conference. I think he has clearly done it out of political interest to cajole bitcoiners and that he doesn't even know how it works.

And leaving aside how controversial he is and episodes like the assault on the Capitol, I see that many people think that if Trump wins, he will create a strategic reserve of bitcoin and then the price will go to the moon. But the history of bitcoin has taught us that in matters of price 2+2 does not usually result in 4 and it doesn't have to be that way, in the same way that if Kamala wins it doesn't have to be a disaster for the price.

What does seem clear to me is that Kamala will continue with the launch of the CBDCs and Trump would stop it if he wins, so here for me Trump wins a point.

I do not agree with many of Trump's stances and opinions, but his support for crypto made me reflect: is this issue strong enough for me to cast a vote for him, and I am wondering about the rest of crypto owners around the world.

If you had the power to cast 1 magical vote for Trump, would you do it ?

No matter who the American government is, they will give Bitcoin a good review.  They know that having good things to say about the Bitcoin community increases popularity a lot.  Donald Trump is leading the way to tighten the American government.  If Donald Trump becomes the American government, the price of the joint will increase a little more than before. Meanwhile, Comella Harris said about Bitcoin.  So my point is that Bitcoin will move forward at its own pace regardless of who the American government is.

Although it's somehow impossible to have total a prediction of someone action toward some certain things because everybody is subject to change when they achieve their quest but going by the present propose intention of Trump toward cryptocurrency I think he has a good intention to future of cryptocurrency and as I such if I'm an American I will vote for him in the forthcoming election.

I am not an eligible voter for this forth coming election in the U.S, but if I should have a peep on what has been Happening, I believe Donald Trump will gather a lot of sympathy votes from bitcoin lovers and other crypto enthusiast. I might be seeing it from a bias standpoint but most U.S citizens believe they need a regime change, Kamala Harris is the vice president to the incumbent President, they believe if Harris wins, it will be a continuous style of administration of Joe Biden, so they need a turn around change of leadership which will not be influenced by Joe Biden and his political empire. Trump has made statements to woo the crypto community to his side, and that is a lot of block vote coming on his way.

What you say is just bitcoin, what about the whole crypto industry? Under Biden, the SEC continues to cause trouble for a series of companies and exchanges, causing a lot of damage and creating difficulties for the development of the cryptocurrency industry. If Harris gets elected and continues to let that happen, the SEC will become more and more aggressive, what will happen to crypto? Meanwhile, if Trump wins, Gary's political career will end in 2025.

I am not a bitcoin maximalist, I am a crypto investor and interested in the entire crypto industry not just bitcoin, so I will not support Harris.

I don't think it would be wise to choose a candidate based on a single promise or attitude they take on specific policies.

The important thing is, do we have any other options besides Trump and Harris? No, let's bet on the one who does the least harm to us and who can give us more benefit instead of nothing.

I'm not in the US so i can not vote but my taught about the whole bitcoin and trump   moves is, i see them all as political moves they aren't his actual biddings and so its not happening on what i will see as a sustainable grounds, as a far left republican that he is, he's definitely not really goin to change his system of taught just easily, it may only be on the grounds of political strategy but in the long run, trump isn't going to put in systems that will work for the proper adoptation of bitcoin completely as he has never believed in bitcoin before now so i don't find this sudden change to loving bitcoin as real and natural enough to take seriously.

In fact I will vote for the president who will work well for the development of Bitcoin. Between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, if Kamala Harris did more to develop Bitcoin than Donald Trump, I would definitely vote for her. Moreover, what if the development of Bitcoin is forgotten after voting?

This is something to actually think about when going to cast vote for whomsoever to go for the president of the United States. I am not from the US but even if I’m from there, I will not cast my vote base on the likeness of bitcoin of just one person, there are other factors that needs to be considered before casting of the votes. Just like you said, what if the votes are casted because of bitcoin development I wished for and it’s forgotten just after the elections, it’ll really pain me a lot and I won’t be happy I casted that vote just because of one reason which I feel will be selfish. With the way things are going, bitcoin can survive under any of them just that Trump showed his publicly that he loves and will embrace this technology more. Politicians are unpredictable and I just hope he’s not just using it for political gains only and will work towards making that happen if he eventually wins the election.

Bitcoin will grow naturally with Kamala Harris or Donald Trump as a next President and this question only makes sense if you are citizen of the USA. and a Bitcoiner, then you will have citizen rights to vote for a next President. If you are only a Bitcoiner but not USA citizen, you can not vote.

Bitcoin has been growing in adoption without the friendliness and support that it deserves from past and the present American presidents. So I'm not worried about whether the next American president will be Bitcoin friendly or not because it's doing quite fine on it's growth and it's adoption is increasing nonetheless. I know that the US government has a major influence in the global economy but Bitcoin doesn't revolve only around them. I believe that many young American bitcoiners will not take sides with their government if they're against Bitcoin.

If I were an American, as a bitcoiner I'll likely vote for Donald trump, probably because of his perceived friendliness towards Bitcoin. But in reality you really never can trust politicians because they'll promise anything to get your votes.

It will be interesting to see how the results of the election effect this forum specifically. If Trump wins, we’ll likely see a bigger push for the government to support BTC and higher BTC prices. If Kamala wins, we’re likely to see an increase in censorship on the internet and penalties for misinformation. That could lead to members of this forum being arrested for making false claims or spreading lies, which would be entertaining. No matter what happens, I’ll try and enjoy the silver lining.

Legitimizing the system is the thing that you want to do. The system is NOT playing against you as an individual. Rather, it's your own ignorance of your rights as a man, and how to use those rights, that is playing against you.

Imagine for a moment that there wasn't any government - any system - where you live. The land would be full of robbers and violent people who would not let anybody live in peace. It's the system/government that puts the criminals down, arresting them, bringing them to trial, and throwing them in prison. That's why you have peace and a relatively good life.

Do the things that you say. But until you can figure out how to make a better government, uphold the system so that you can live in peace... at least some of the time. If there wasn't any system, the criminals would force you to be in a constant fight all the time.

Bitcoin transactions that are not done through some government controlled exchange are private. Government has to do with public stuff. People need to wake up to the fact that government is public, and that it is the people who work in it that do what is done, not the government.

No matter which angle we might see this from, Trump talking positively about bitcoin is a big win to the cryptocurrency industry. Be it politically motivated or not. After all politics rule the world. If I am an American I'll vote for Trump. Now that I am not an American, I have urged two of my American friends to vote for Trump, luckily one is already a pro Trump while the other seems not interested in voting.

Trump is a realist and he is so blunt in speaking what he will do and I love him for that.

Those words Trump made are political words which are not reliable until they begin to do what they promised during the rally to their people. I don't think Trump will do all those things he has promised the people of U.S because there are some people who are against BTC and crypto which they will not allow Trump to make BTC and crypto legal tender.

But if Trump make all those things real after election, I believe many BTC and crypto users will start generating more Profits from their businesses when they accept BTC as payment in their businesses, because it will make Elon musk and other crypto billionaires to enjoy his tenure.

This is something notable that should be considered also. It is something very easy for the politicians to do. Most politicians make fake promises on their way to the seat just to get favored and voted for to win the elections. I don’t hope the same to be the case of bitcoin development in US.
