I tend to be sceptical when I see these threads, as I don't know if the OP was hoping to gain merit by saying he was going to sell his house to buy bitcoin although as he gives details in this case I tend to believe that what he says is true.
maybe you don't see my rank was legendary, what for I gain the merit?. Merit is just perspective many member here.  that's not my goal being here today.
Now is 2024 which means how to increase my investment, not how to gain merit or create the thread to be a popular member.

While investing in bitcoin has always been encouraged by everyone, especially bitcoin maximalists, but selling your home or physical assets to buy bitcoin isn't something everyone enjoys or is encouraged to do. I would be surprised if someone gave OP some merit to support selling his house to invest in bitcoin.
if we think sanely and look at how statistics bitcoin when compared with property, bitcoin investment is more profitable than investment on property from last 10 years. I don't know why many people still thinking to investment on property when out there have any investment that make you more profitable instrument like BITCOIN.

So that is why I do not like renters, not that I have any place to rent, but if I ever had any place, I would just sell it, not wait on renting it, because it is not really that easy to handle at all and would be very hard to convince people that it wouldn't really be possible for it to happen any other way. I believe that we can't really focus on getting anything more, it's going to be very tough but if we believe that it can happen then we could make it change somehow, it has to be very crucial.
Rent the house is not easy like we thinking because there must be maintenance management. We have to think about maintenance costs every year to make the house habitable. if left alone the house without preservation, will be abandoned by leaseholder.

Since you only have a short time to get money, then compared to renting where you still need money and time to renovate it, making it collateral in the bank as I mentioned earlier is a way that can be taken to be able to buy Bitcoin immediately, because the highest price of Bitcoin that is predicted to be achieved will occur periodically, the longer you buy Bitcoin, the smaller the chance of profit that you can get, but you have to calculate carefully if you want to borrow from the bank because there are risks that must be considered.
That is not a bad idea, having property to rent out and then using that to build more is something many real estate companies do. If you can find people who actually do pay their rent on time, then it's a great deal, however there are many cases where people end up paying very low on their rent and very late as well, sometimes not even pay and you have to deal with law to get them out, and in many places it's near impossible to get someone who rents your places to get out.

So that is why I do not like renters, not that I have any place to rent, but if I ever had any place, I would just sell it, not wait on renting it, because it is not really that easy to handle at all and would be very hard to convince people that it wouldn't really be possible for it to happen any other way. I do agree that's not a bad idea at all. I mean you could have a place, rent it out, and that way you have some income, and also a place that you could use as collateral as well, so the bank knows that one way or another they are getting their money back anyway. So, it's clear that we are going to see a loan made for you. Then you use that loan to buy another place, and if possible renovate and rent that out too.

Now you have two incomes, and you are paying one loan back, and you pay most of that if possible, and you will do fine, you will not be paying that quickly, but eventually you will, save as much as of your own income if you can and pay the debt back very quickly if you can. After that's done or at least almost done, you take out another loan and get another place and rent that too. You keep doing this until you die, and eventually you will have dozens of places that you rent. Many people do this, and it is not really that terrible idea if you ask me, it's quite fine and profitable.

As we know, The year 2025 is getting closer, Bitcoin bullish has also shown signs of that, but Until today I don't have much capital to buy bitcoin to prepare bullrun on the next year. I have a desire to sell my another house and want to change my investment into bitcoin or any cryptocurrency, but the problem is My house has not been sold until now, I have tried to market it on social media like facebook market and olx where I have to spend about $10 each month to sell it to the flatform, but still didnt sold it yet.

My house located on Indonesia, If I calculate with bitcoin, I put low price about 0.2 BTC, the yard size is 108 square meter, and house size is 36 square meter. quite cheap for that size but still didn't sold yet. So, I write here, Are you are here have strategy how to sell it fast?, I'm almost desperate, I will even lower it to 0.18 if it doesn't sell yet.

You will know better who will be the best for you when it comes to buying a home in your area. If there is a need to sell a house in my area, I will first remove the news of the sale of the house in various ways and then try to inform others about it through my social media. Then if I don't get a good price, I will contact those who buy old houses or buy land. I hope that any of these ways will work for me and I will be successful in selling the house.

No one denies that but you need to remember one thing that the higher the profit, the greater the risk. Bitcoin is considered the most profitable investment in the financial market, but in terms of safety and stability, it is still far behind real estate. I hope you are aware of this as well as the risks you will face when deciding to sell safe assets to invest in risky assets.

Also selling real estate to invest in bitcoin at this time makes me think you are speculating as we are all looking forward to the upcoming bull season. That's not too bad but quite risky, have you ever thought about this scenario: if the bull season doesn't come and bitcoin enters a bear phase, what will you do?

What is the weakness? If your house is only worth $100,000 and you list it for $1 million, only a crazy person would accept your offer. Similarly, bitcoin is trading at $65,000 and you place a sell order at $100,000, who will buy your bitcoin?

We don't even know the real estate situation in Indonesia and there is no guarantee that OP is selling the house at a fair price compared to the value of the house. As some have pointed out, he may have priced the house too high for its true value, making it difficult to sell.
I agree with your few points about this all with as OP is having different views his home needs renovations and some other work as well which is surely needed funds, and now he is having some other ideas as well about this but main thing is we mostly are living outside Indonesia, and we are having no exact situation of property and many other things about this so we just can give few suggestions and also can take information from him about his situation.

If he is well experienced about this surely he can do better for his future but still in our country we believe first we need to understand all positive and negatives then we have jump into this otherwise things can go on wrong way, and we can lose funds and home as well which could be the worst case so going with fast strategy is never been good just keep calm and try to check with agents and then go through for his next step is always ideal for all parties and safety of your funds.

Best way would be just putting it up on sale for cheap price on some online places like zillow or whatever the similar one in your nation. That would mean that if the houses around you are 50k, then sell it for 40kand you will do fine, many people are looking for cheap houses to buy because it's quick profit. They can pay 10-20% less to you, buy your house, renovate just a bit, and then sell it for 50% higher than what they paid for it. That's something that people have done for many years, and I think they are going to keep doing it forever as well, it's something that is quite profitable and shouldn't really be ending soon.

If you really want to sell, then always go for cheaper than what it worths and you could sell very quickly. Even a simple 10% off the price would get you insanely crowded amount of sellers, it's going to be something that will take a while but it can happen very quickly, shouldn't be that difficult and could happen very soon with that discount.

Selling your house and investing in bitcoin doesn’t really look cool to me. Is that the only house that you are having, or do you have another house? And don’t you have a job in which you can be investing some parts of your salary in bitcoin? Selling your property just because you want to invest in bitcoin doesn’t totally look cool to me. You are claiming the year 2025 is getting closer, which is the year that lots of people are expecting a bull run to happen, but even if we see a bull run by 2025, everything about bitcoin doesn’t end during the bull run, you can still invest in bitcoin after the bull run, just plan yourself properly.

Yes, of course I have another house that I live in now. That another house I bought when bitcoin bullrun on 2021. The story is, I sold my motorbike in 2018, then I bought Bitcoin, and held it until 2021 and sold it. With that money, I bought a house and want to sell it today. That experience taught me if bitcoin makes a great investment from motorbike to be house. So, is am wrong if I want to sell my house and use that money to buy back again bitcoin?. No, I think I am not wrong, I have taken the right steps before, and I belive bitcoin will repeat it again in next year. It's not impossible from the house today to be a mansion in next year.

And don’t you have a job in which you can be investing some parts of your salary in bitcoin?
Yes, I have a job, but all my salary was spent for my family (my wife and my son)

I don’t really think it’s a good idea. Yes, We are watching the BTC before 8 to 10 years. The persons who invested in the Bitcoin for the long term,they got huge amount of profit from that because BTC is not like other cryptocurrencies and all other cryptocurrencies ar dependent on BTC . Market condition can be low or high or stable and that is not in control of us and we should invest our money in BTC when market is at stable low position and you can sell your house and you can invest in BTC when market is low . But that is not best time to invest in Bitcoin because now BTC price is above 98k dollar which is very good price and before 6 months ,BTC price was  55k dollar and before 18 months the price of BTC was 15 k dollar,that was best time to get profit from Bitcoin.

Well, I won't advice you to sell your house to invest in Bitcoin or any other crypto currency even though the market is bullish at the moment, you can't really tell when dip might hit. Your house is an accet and also an achievement, so selling it to invest in crypto currency that might crash isn't really advisable. But if you still plan to sell there are ways you can attract buyers faster, and one of them is by taking advantage of the internet. There are people that are interested in obtaining properties and they might not be in you geographical area, putting it online would facilitate the process.

You can promote selling ads on your social medias displaying nice pictures of your house. You can contact a Real Estate Agent in your area to find potential buyers who may be interested in purchasing your house, although he is going to charge a comission in order to do so. Here where I live it stays around 5% of the property's cost. So if you are having a hard time finding a buyer, it can be an alternative, although it's always ideal to sell without middlemen involved on the negotiation.

However, if your house is pretty cheap already and you still can't sell it, there must be something wrong with this. Maybe the localization doesn't help very much? What about the area and neighborhood? These are points you have to take into consideration.

My house located on Indonesia, If I calculate with bitcoin, I put low price about 0.2 BTC, the yard size is 108 square meter, and house size is 36 square meter. quite cheap for that size but still didn't sold yet. So, I write here, Are you are here have strategy how to sell it fast?, I'm almost desperate, I will even lower it to 0.18 if it doesn't sell yet.

Well it's not a bad idea to sell your other house to go into Bitcoin investment, it's sure a very good decisions but then having it market to the public for quick buyers has been the greatest challenge but then I urge you to exercise a little patience and the price you fixed for selling it's quite fair I must say but then  you ought to involve real estate agent so as to make it more faster and easier for purchasing.

The most expensive housing is more temporary so your actual highest price would be to rent it out or provide accommodation for guests.

The ideal is you live in an area with tourists nearby who want cheaper rooms then a hotel can provide.   If you were to regularly get that business it would be alot more money then simply selling it.


There used to be a famous thread on this forum for a man who ten years ago sold his house to buy Bitcoin.  Its been done more then once, but in this case he also was on a thread here.   An important detail to that was he did not require the house and it was spare as he lived elsewhere.      The other guy I read moved his family into a mobile home, dont rely on that tbh.

As we know, The year 2025 is getting closer, Bitcoin bullish has also shown signs of that, but Until today I don't have much capital to buy bitcoin to prepare bullrun on the next year. I have a desire to sell my another house and want to change my investment into bitcoin or any cryptocurrency, but the problem is My house has not been sold until now, I have tried to market it on social media like facebook market and olx where I have to spend about $10 each month to sell it to the flatform, but still didnt sold it yet.


I don't know how you decided to sell your house. It is certain that the price of Bitcoin will increase but it is not 100% certain. Suppose if you buy Bitcoin with the money from selling your house and lose that money, that is, if Bitcoin returns to a bearish state, you should plan in advance what stage your situation will go at that moment.

If you don't mind to be unethical, you can use dark empathy. You can create a fake story that you want to sell your house to pay medical bills of your parents or you want to pay your debt due to debt collector keep hurting you (of course you need to show the pict you bandage your hand etc).

Do we really have to give reason before we can sell our property? I don't think so unless the property in question is not worthy to catch the attention of the public. I think the said house is probably not up to standard that people might be interested in, again, individual preference of house design or financial capacity might be the reason for lack of buyers.

Advisably, it's not ideal to sell such properties to invest in crypto. Of course, there's a great chance of success but nothing is guaranteed and he shouldn't rely on probability. If he's still interested in selling it, he should approach estate management or housing agents and the property will be sold in less than a week but there is charges applied. Depends on where you live, @OP live in Indonesia that adopt Eastern culture. Eastern culture tend to have small chit-chat and has no privacy, even though you didn't state the reason you sell your house, the buyer will ask it whenever they met you.

It's true there are many combinations why @OP's house not sold yet, that's why I said to use dark empathy in order to increase the chance to make a deal.

If you haven't sold your house yet to buy Bitcoin like you want, Bitcoin is now bullish and time is of the essence before bear run will kick in. If you don't have any other sources of income to accumulate Bitcoin, then you need to seek the services of Realtors in your country to speedily market your property, except the property is not in a marketable area.

If you're able to sale it before bear run, then you need to be careful about the cryptocurrency to invest in, I'd advice you to stick to Bitcoin and cash in on this bull run.
