My role here is simple...I just make a list so this keyword can be added to the bot.

I think it's working, because I've reported a couple when I saw them appear at the top of the gambling discussion section and I got the typical message that I couldn't because the topic was off limits or something like that, and when I went back to the board the spam locked thread had disappeared.

The fact that the thread can lock on it’s own haven’t  identified some key words or strains as it relates with the Amazon Giftcard spammers is awesome.
I’ve encountered several of these threads in the past and either report or just ignore them but, surely it wasn’t enough as these guys despite the actions taken on them, they just keep on creating more and more accounts only to spam with hopes of scamming users in the forum.
With the rest of the forum to have awoken to their strategies, let’s see how well it works for them and I think, not very much, if not zero.

We don't actually lock the topic, the spammer does that themselves. They want you to read their method and install an userscript that will steal your data.

This is a trap of spammers from where they do this kind of work to steal various types of data. Those who fall into this kind of trap get their data stolen and later they are seen facing danger. That is why one should always be careful so that no one falls into such a trap.

I've added some of their stuff to the anti-spam bot, so it should be better for a while. Please report the posts if you see them again.

If we see anything like this, we will definitely report it but here I have one thing to say that you should be more careful, you should mark the users who post such posts so that they cannot do any such work on those days, if they keep doing this then I think there will be a problem with reputation.

This spammer is taking days intervals to create all his shit accounts and the next day he starts spamming again with all the new accounts, if you notice from the telegram notification you see that the spammer has taken a break in the last two days, I believe he is busy creating tons of accounts to start spamming the forum with them again after all the older accounts have been banned.
The moderators are doing a great job in nuking off those topics and banning the accounts, this is a time we have to commend our mods.

I remember the notification, and I think he is out of Satoshis. I remember he created only two topics on different boards today, and after that, he was done. Eventually, a scammer will run out of money, and it is evident his process of scamming members here was not successful.

In the future, I don't think we will see so much spam on different boards with different usernames by the same spammer/scammer. I raised earlier whether the evil fee was applied to his or their IP address when the spam peaked. I am assuming that the admin blacklisted those IP addresses. That is why we came across two topics today.

It's a scam type with something promised to be delivered as free gifts, but at the end victims will have to pay something first, and perhaps cost is not too small for victims. Reporting scam threads is good, and thank you for it, and please keep doing it too.

Dang, I'll increase the default minimum user post count. Might miss some new topics from legit users, but I feel like that's fine so you guys don't get spammed to hell.

I have just reported a few in the Gambling Discussion section, although now it is no longer about gift cards, but about One confirmation doublespending as Ziskinberg has exposed.

Does it take a long time for that to work? The oldest one I've reported has been posted for about 25 minutes.
