If you want to achieve a X10 growth in bitcoin investment, you have to wait over few decades because the growth rate of bitcoin may not be that massive. I don't even support putting such a high target for bitcoin at this stage to avoid setting unrealistic targets that might lead to some form of regrets. Another problem with setting this kind of big target is that when you realized it is not feasible, you will be tempted to go for cryptocurrencies you feel can pump that much thereby exposing your money to risk that can make them evaporate. My recommendation is to either buy bitcoin and hold using the DCA method or lump sum buy. This is the best you can do for now.

If you want to hit the right spot and try to multiply your Money, the best thing you can do is diversify the Portfolio.  Turning a dozen Million Dollars into a HUNDRED is not something anybody is capable of doing.  Even by diversifying your Portfolio, you are not ensured that your Net Worth becomes the 10th part of a Billion in a few years.  Nobody has the key to unlocking that success, it is a matter of risk, beliefs, opportunities and vision.

Anyway.  With out building a highly successful business, it is wild to think about making this much Money in a matter of years.  If I made a couple Million Dollars worth of Bitcoin but did not know what to do with it, I would make sure my life is set as in making sure I have a decent home, a reliable car, enough Money to live for at least a couple decades and for my family / children and then I would maybe keep half of it or two thirds in Bitcoin and invest the rest in other things ONLY after thoroughly researching and discovering opportunities.  With that amount of Money, you can settle for life and then making Money becomes just a hobby.

With that amount of money, in my opinion, it is better to allocate the majority of it to the top altcoins in my suggestion. Even if we say that you will hold it for 5 years or 10 years, it is better to divide it into different investments in the crypto space.

The person who responded to the Quora discussion gave his personal opinion, and it could be realizable or otherwise. Investing such an amount in Bitcoin is not a bad idea because, historically, Bitcoin has proved to be a profitable investment. But you should also be willing to take the risk since highly profitable assets can also lead to high losses. Before you put your money into any investment, it is important to do your research. I'm not someone who listen to random strangers, can't say she was wrong, but she talk too board.

There's always someone who can make crazy amount of money from these assets, but it could be only 1%, while 10% make a good amount of money and rest of them earn average or loss.

I was quite surprised and a little skeptical that someone with such a large fortune would seek investment advice on the Internet. I dare say: if I or anyone on this forum had a lot of money and needed investment advice, I would definitely turn to a financial advisor or my rich friends, not social media.

Mostly long term holding. There are more risky methods like staking but I dont recommend them. Investing in companies that are legitimately doing some work is also a good thing, but options are limited.

Bitcoin is Proof of Work and no way to stake Bitcoin if you don't purchase Wrapped Bitcoin tokens and use them for staking. Staking can help to get staking reward but there is big risk, that these tokens will lose pegs to Bitcoin price and sum of your initial capital and earning from staking suddenly becomes zero in value.

If it is possible, it requires a very positive extraordinary event that makes market sentiment positive for months and it would not be funny if the market continues to rise and never corrects again.

Well spoken, Bitcoin is already an investment opportunity, holding it means you're investing already. So you don't need to invest an already running investment into something else. Allow your Bitcoin investment to run for a long term, let's say 4-10 years or more depending on your holding capacity. I believe you'll be glad and proud of yourself in years time if you take this advise.

Assuming bitcoin this was 2014, it is possible for you to achieve 10x of the money that you invested because at 2014, bitcoin price was in the range of $400-$500. As time passes on and more people adopting bitcoin, the volatility in bitcoin is reducing and it is not as high as it was in the beginning making it impossible for you to invest now and expect 10x profit in ten years.

Ten years from now we will only have completed two circles and half which makes me think that making 10x profit is impossible. The only way that you might get close to 10x profit is maybe you invest and hodli for 30 years, and you don't just lump sum all in one but it will be better if you share the money into three parts. Use one part to lump sum right away, use the second part to DCA by spreading it out gradually overtime and the last part to always buy more bitcoin during the dip.
