They are just an incentives, if you have a lot of time to spend on them you're free to do it. Or if you think that they're not worth of your time, just don't do it. It becomes more serious when there's a guaranteed reward that's being escrowed then that might be considerable as a worth it for your time. But then, most of them doesn't give any assurance that they'll be listed and the tokens allocated to the participants are going to be worth that much.

If you're working on the wrong project, then even if they promised to give huge amount of tokens, then its a wasted effort, but if the project is that good, then even a small amount is worth it, At the current trend, its hard to find a good project that does a bounty; they usually utilize a launchpad.
Do not make bounty as income-generating; its past their prime and bounty is so much like gambling and participants are often in a losing end.

Considering the amount of time and energy invested into bounties and airdrop, I can boldly say this days they are literally not worth it, because considering the large crowd who usually joins it whenever such project is been launched, when listed it's price are not always worth the stress and time. Which is why if you are a new user to this platform, I will rather advice you focus on building reputation and account, so as to rank up on the forum, then wasting time on bounties, which sometimes you may end up getting paid mere $5 after several months of stress. However, content creators are the most people that benefit bounties and airdrops, due to the large earning they tend to generate through referral bonuses.

You depend on luck and generosity of project teams in distribution of tokens for your works in bounties or in retrospective airdrop. With bounties, project teams can run away and don't distribute anything, or if bounty manager escrows tokens for distribution, you might receive tokens that don't worth anything considerably.

With retrospective airdrop, you depend on project teams, that can distribute tokens fairly to community as written in their tokenomics or they will use some shenanigans for shady distributions. If they choose a second way of token distribution, you will waste your time like in bounties.

Restrospective airdrop hunting sometimes can give you very good rewards, but as it is luck and dependence on the project team, don't hope high with it.

Most of them are hit or miss and what I think is making them worth it is when there's a bunch of people that are showing it off to various communities to gain more investors. When a project does this, they're making sure that there's a wide reach of more airdrop people to join. As you've said, it's time-consuming and does that ring a bell for you? if you've been working on some other things and you can't get into it, there are bounties/airdrops that you don't have to do that much but even so, I'm not interested in most of them. Because it came from you as well, when it seems that there's a likelihood it will be listed on an exchange, the more participants, the lower rewards will be shared with the pool.

But he doesn't really know how much it is worth or even if the project will be listed anywhere. Since most of them never get listed, it wastes time.

Some project may list their token on exchanges, but the percentage is too low. I want to believe it's less than 5% these days. Moreover, a token was listed on an exchange, but the value is too low, or the holder cannot sell the token for a certain period. What is the benefit?

I don't know if this is the correct section for this thread, but somebody will just move it on the correct section (if it's on the wrong one).

Bounties right now are a waste of time for me. The main problem right now with these bounty campaigns is that there are some of them that aren't paying those bounty hunters, and if they're paying them, the token most of the time doesn't have any value because it will not be listed on any exchange at all. Bounty campaign for me isn't worth it considering the amount of time you will be spending and the amount of money that you will be getting. Should newbies avoid it? There's no rule stating that newbies must avoid it, and you can still try it if you want. Just lower your expectations though because getting paid in these bounty campaigns are not 100% certain, and if they will pay you, it isn't worth it.

As a newbie, I don't think that it's worth trying TBH. Most of the users here that are joining bounty campaigns often has multiple accounts to multiply the tokens that they're getting thus, increasing the amount of money that they're getting. Like I said, you can try, but lower your expectations.

With the huge number of turn ups for airdrops these days, I doubt if a participant would have much to benefit from it looking at the fact that one would have to go extra miles putting much efforts to see a way to getting more rewards as the case maybe. The higher the participants, the lesser the rewards and that does not make any sense for a task that took a long time to accomplish. It would be better one use that energy used in promoting that project to develop their capacity with skills and things meaningful to ones benefit.

Influencers, celebrities, content creators etc are majorly the people that benefits more from these engagements as a result of the large followership they have. They can easily convince  their fans and  followers  to  get them sign up through their referrals and that means a plus for them. This is why they get more allocation than the ordinary participants who spend their time promoting and engaging in other activities and at the end gets dust in return.

Any newbie that start asking questions about bounty is been introduced to the forum by a user that has been hunting bounties for long, I think the person should have tell you all you need to know about bounties. Nevertheless, we will also tell you even though some newbies that are introduced to bounties will remain bounty hunters despite the advice given to them about how worthless the bounties of how a days are, they keep doing them with the hope of making it with one big project which is right but the chances are slim.

Bounties are not bad, but more of promoting new cryptocurrency projects have gone beyond bounty campaigns, there are several ways of getting project into the market which can give them more community and hype than bounties, that is why most of the projects are not more reliable.

The project in question clearly determines if you’ll get a profitable payout meanwhile I will advice you go for what’s more trusted, if you clearly observe chasing after bounties only delay your stay here instead of growing bitcoin knowledge. If you feel bounties project are not worth the stress why not ignore, but I’m sure anyone advertising a scam project must be caught definitely.
Secondly I believe you get paid for the service rendered and what’s more strange is the fact you advertise a project you’re not 100% sure if it’s associated with scam or quality.

Most people promote projects and accept working in bounty campaigns without conducting research or verifying the popularity and reliability of the campaign manager who was hired to manage it. They also fail to checck if the bounty has an escrow system for the allocation or if the project team will handle the distribution. Also, they don't verify whether the campaigns are limited to a specific number of participants or not. There are many points that bounty hunters ignore, which results in disappointment when they do not receive their rewards or end up with worthless tokens.

As for me, I find that the bounty section has become crowded with failed projects and shitcoins projects managed by unknown and new managers. Working in bounties has now become a waste of time unless the person works in bounties managed by trusted managers, and even then, it does not guarantee that the tokens or rewards received will have value. It might all be a game of luck, depending on the project team, the project's success, its potential, and other factors.

Currently we are not in bounty season, but before, bounty really worth it, because lots of people made some reasonable amounts of money from bounty previously, but currently you will find it difficult to get a bounty campaign that will pay a decent amount of money. Don’t be surprised that after working so hard for some projects, they will end up not even paying any amount of money, or what some will pay won’t really be worth it. So I will say currently, all the bounty campaigns that are in the bounty section won’t really pay a good amount of money, so I will say it's not really worth it.

In my viewed the golden era of bounties campaign have been over since 2020, if you have much free time and want participating at bounties campaign seems waste your time and only because most of bounty not worth it right now. Have many problem not only how cheapest price of coins from bounties campaign when listing at the market but also most of bounty project have small reward allocated.

Always monitoring many kinds of bounty campaign worth under $10 after four until eighth weeks working, do you want waste your time for small reward only and have doing all task for weekly?

Bounties are like Memecoins which by luck you can find a payable project or as your ability to identify a genuine one just as your level of knowledge in cryptocurrency may determine your stance of adopting potential coins.

I would not suggest that newbies should back off from bounties but rather should research if the project could be payable. I would also advice that you don't have to expect much on bounties as they are not much funded enough to pay participants hugely since they are free projects.

The hype was created after the Notcoin airdrop and listing. A lot of people made thousands of dollars. A couple more similar projects have launched since then, and people have literally jumped into them with the hope of making some real money. To be honest, I am one of those who started doing these Telegram airdrops.

A couple of those projects were listed on exchanges, and the airdrop participants were disappointed with the allocation. This is what we can observe on bounty scene so maybe OP should scout those bounty campaigns happening here then figure out for his self if he could able to see if there's bounty campaign still paying people from this forum. For sure he would know that its just a waste of time to participate since most of them are just a scam since those projects are not paying their participants.

Maybe more better  for OP to explore the airdrop scene since right now this is somehow the famous way on how they could earn from the task they are participating from various project. And by joining lots of programs then maybe they would able to get something great which is more worth it rather than what  they can get from bounty campaigns which they are asking for.

At present, the work of Bounty Section can be termed as a waste of time. The current state of the BOUNTY section and the quality of campaigns is currently very disappointing. But bounty hunters start work without proper research, and end up disappointed. Because currently many of the bounty hunters spend a lot of their time doing the bounties but as a result they end up with worthless tokens, which are not listed on any exchange and they cannot sell them. Also, some bounties pay bounty hunters money that is far less than their valuable time and trouble. From my observation and what I have learned so far from all these joining of airdrops and bounties of a thing are caused by what people hear about it from other people. So many people have been told about bounties and airdrops in the wrong way, that joining them is the easy way to make money in crypto, and they begin to flow with such a mindset, believing that they will make money through joining bounties or airdrops.

If we are to run a question-and-answer survey in and out of this forum, the most answers we are going to get from both participants of bounties and airdrops are, they all join bounties or airdrops based on what they have heard about them "making people rich''. All these are made known through the people who got them introduced to crypto word. They gave them the mentality that bounties are to be so. Same as this telegram mining. The majority of people all over the globe joined it because of how Notcoin paid her community members huge money for their engagement. They thought that other telegram mining that would be launched would be so, not knowing that they wouldn't. They are going to pay peanuts after months of tapping.
