Ironically, I didn't realize much then as everything seemed chaotic to me. It was a huge confusion with the way everything was going. I was very new to this industry and didn't understand how to get most of the tokens I had to exchanges to sell off before they dumped. Most of my tokens pumped before my eyes but I couldn't sell them and the few I found exchanges to see, dumped.

Much better to focus only on bitcoin if they want to invest and stop helping scammers towards participating bounty campaigns since they are the only one benefiting since they get free marketing by help of those bounty hunters.

Bitcoin won't give an attractive ROI on a short term the way altcoins do. That angle will keep encouraging adventurous investors into investing more in alts than in Bitcoin.

Bounty campaigns are not only for newbies but for all ranks in the forum. Even though you are a legendary member of the forum and you see any bounty project that interests you to promote and you think you will get a great reward at the end of your promotion, you are allowed to do so, and nobody in the forum will stop from doing so.

Just like you said, bounty campaigns are a waste of time and time-consuming, and you might end up not getting paid for promoting a bounty project for months. Even though you get paid, you might not get a good reward when the token is listed on a centralized exchange. If you must promote a bounty campaign, make sure the payment is in stablecoin and escrow so that you will be sure of getting a good reward at the end of your promotion.

For now I see Bounty depending on your skill level to analyze a project, because there are some projects that sometimes succeed but this is only a few. But in general bounty at this time will only waste time because the time you spend will not match the income you receive, if any, it is only a little. In fact, now it is better to follow airdrops than bounties, although not all airdrops can succeed but if you are good at researching them, you will most likely get income that is commensurate with the time you spend.

But since you are in this forum, you better focus on account growth, learning and discussing so that you can get merit over time your account ranking will be higher so you can find luck in the signature campaign, because for now the signature campaign is comparable to the time you spend. All choices are in your hands, where to focus, but in essence this forum can not only make money, but also produce a lot of knowledge.

At that time, you may not be ready and do not dare to explore further.
But I was also in 2017-2018 where it was the heyday of the Bounty Campaign and almost all of the bounty projects that were launched were successful until the token could be listed on the exchange.

Getting 5 ETH - 10 ETH or 1 BTC at that time was still very easy, and I have experienced it myself.

Following the Social Media bounty Project, Translator and Campaign articles provide a lot of Points and a lot of rewards.
The bounty campaign only runs for about 1 to 3 months, but some are indeed longer because they have not reached the targeted Hardcap.

However, looking at bounty campaigns now it is not the same anymore and most bounty campaigns just end up not paying and also the payment is only a little.

Financial rewards might be small but joining community and sharing knowledge and learning from others is very valuable. Real benefit comes from meeting people and sharing information and gaining expertise not just earning money. If people see bounty rewards as extras not main goal they will have better experience in community.

Yes I agreed. Most altcoin campaign now on forum are rubbish and gone are those days that we can earn a lot from altcoin campaigns. I've never joined a bounty campaign before, because of the negative remarks that I've gotten about them, most people says that they're a waste of the perticipants time. I also heard that they were profitable in the past and perticipants got rewarded then, I guess that their boom era has passed. From my little research I think that most of the projects are scams, after perticipating the coin that you're rewarded with is worthless, you can not convert it to any reputable cryptocurrency. And if this is the case for most of them, then it's truly a waste of time if the project is worth nothing at the end of your perticipation.

If you say you're running out of time working on a wasted bounty, you need to learn how the bounty works, and you need to do your research so that your time is not wasted.

I think the reason why bounties became worthless was due to the flooding of several scam projects in the market, which wasn’t so in the past, yes there used to be a few and it was a big challenge for bounty hunters, you’ll see a situation where a bounty hunter would perform up to about 5 bounty tasks and end up benefiting from 2 after spending time and efforts in performing those tasks for a month or more, and back then it was a pretty big challenge for them, and over the years, things got even more worse that they’ll end up getting nothing but worthless rewards after performing several tasks for months.

I guess bounty hunting glory days only rewarding on ICO season. But when this one ends the bounty hunting scene became so silent and it replaced by many scams that's why everything out there is just a waste of time that's why I don't recommend anyone to join and waste their time doing some task there.

As a newbie I am also avoiding it.  Because it is very time consuming and most of the time does not pay fair.  Besides, there is danger of fraud.  Better not waste time on it for little money in my opinion.

Some friends told me that they must pay some fees to the project so the project will sends the rewards to them. This is not good for them as many of them complain about that to the team of the project but they can't do anything because that will be their rules. If they still want to participates in the bounties, they need to think about the rewards, how long the bounties will run, how if the project runs away and not pays the participants and else. But we can not do anything if they still want to participates in the bounty but they need to consider the risk before they decide.

Back then bounties is really worth it since almost all the token and altcoin are created here on bitcointalk but now bitcointalk is not crowds as it used too so bounty today is time consuming and sometimes didnt really worth at all. Some project pay small amount of money but sometimes they scam and pay nothing to its user.

If you have bunch of time then you can continue to do research first and you can join the project. Last time I got jackpot from the project is from 2021 if I dont mistaken it give me money around 1500 USD with 2 month of works

Bounties, Airdrops… they’re literally just same thing to me because they both have same results, don’t know if you’ve been seeing what’s also going on in the airdrop space lately, even airdrops are not even a better option anymore because you can still end up performing tasks for the developers of those projects, that includes generating revenues for them on their monetized social media platforms and then end up getting paid peanuts in the end (that’s if you get paid) or they may even make you end up holding worthless tokens in your bag, and that’s exactly what bounty projects does too, so in my opinion, they’re not worth the time at all.

If you ask me, I would say yes. But there could be some projects that may end up paying you. You have to choose your project wisely. You will see some projects that are offering stakes in their own project, which is not listed anywhere. Even if they end up paying you these tokens, You can't really sell them and cash out your money until they get listed on some Dex or CEX.

If any project offers payment in stable coins like USDT or Bitcoin, and a known campaign manager starts the bounty thread, you can try it. But, if you do not find any projects like this, you will probably waste your valuable time doing their tasks. Instead, focus on the other side of the forum.

Obviously, never give in all your mind, time, strength and energy to do Bounties with the hope of it paying off tomorrow by relying on it, just do what you can do then if you're being rewarded in the end good for you.
From my point of experience and from the result I have witnessed from those that did bounties, they one they didn't expected to pay were even the ones that paid off, whereas those ones hugely hoped upon,  actually failed.
