NFL Games Today - January 18, 2026 (Divisional Round Playoffs)

Game (Time ET)MatchupSpreadMoneyline
Early Game (~3:00 p.m. ET)Houston Texans at New England PatriotsTexans +3 (-115]Patriots -3 (+104)
Late Game (~6:30 p.m. ET)Los Angeles Rams at Chicago BearsRams -4 Bears +4 (-111)

Texans at Patriots (3:00 PM ET, ESPN/ABC) Elite Houston defense (top in yards/points allowed) faces surging New England (14-3 record, strong home offense led by Drake Maye). Texans riding momentum but missing key WR Nico Collins — expect a gritty, low-scoring battle in Foxborough.

Rams at Bears (6:30 PM ET, NBC) Explosive LA offense (high-scoring attack with Stafford, Adams, Nacua) clashes with clutch Chicago (epic Wild Card comeback win). Frigid Soldier Field conditions could favor run games — high-energy matchup with potential for fireworks despite the cold.

SteelersTexans under the lights should feel like a classic contrast game: Pittsburgh wants to keep it physical, win the turnover/field-position battle, and let the crowd amplify every third down, while Houstons path is Stroud creating explosive plays and avoiding negative downs.

A big storyline is Mike Tomlins Monday night track record  the Steelers are 223 on Monday Night Football under Tomlin, including 110 at home in Pittsburgh on MNF. And more broadly, Pittsburgh hasnt lost a home Monday night game since 1991 (a 23-game home MNF streak).
Pittsburg hasn't lost a home Monday night game since 1991 is phenomenal. Can the Texans snap that streak? I don't think so. Going with Pittsburg Steelers to win this. Should be an exciting game.

Pittsburgh's defensive consistency this season has been impressive-they've really shut down opponents in the red zone, and their pass rush creates constant pressure. That streak is no fluke. Still, Houston's recent momentum feels like more than a flash in the pan. They've upset two division leaders in the last three weeks, and their offensive line is giving Davis Mills enough time to find receivers deep.

A small wager on the Texans feels like a calculated risk. The odds probably favor Pittsburgh, but Houston's ability to exploit coverage mismatches could make this closer than expected. Either way, the matchup between Pittsburgh's front seven and Houston's revamped rushing attack should be worth watching. T.J. Watt versus a healthy Dameon Pierce alone makes this one interesting.

I wouldn't bet the house, but a few bucks on Houston to cover feels like a fun experiment. If they pull off another upset, great; if not, the game itself should deliver plenty of highlights. Both teams play with a physical edge, and that usually translates to entertaining football.

UEFA Champions League — League Phase, Matchday 7 (Jan 21, 2026)
Kick-off: 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT) — Stade Vélodrome (Orange Vélodrome), Marseille
UK TV: TNT Sports

High-stakes clash in the tight battle for automatic Round of 16 places (top Cool and strong positioning for the play-offs.

Liverpool (9th, 12 points): On an 11-game unbeaten run, but recent domestic performances have included some frustrating draws — they need points to climb into the top eight. Mohamed Salah is back from AFCON and expected to feature, with Florian Wirtz among the key creators behind the attack.

Marseille (16th, 9 points): Coming in with confidence after back-to-back UCL wins and a statement 5–2 win at Angers. Roberto De Zerbi’s aggressive style feeds off the Vélodrome atmosphere, and they’re only three points behind Liverpool — a win changes the whole picture.

Key battle: Marseille’s home intensity and attacking bursts vs Liverpool’s experience and transition threat (Salah/Wirtz can punish sloppy moments).

Prediction : Expect an open, entertaining game — 2–2

Great to see the discussion staying active here and appreciate everyone sharing picks, experiences, and feedback. This is exactly the kind of open, transparent conversation we want around a no-KYC, fully decentralized betting exchange where users can test things themselves, compare odds, and decide what works for them without pressure. If anyone has questions about access, markets, or how the exchange mechanics work, feel free to ask publicly in the thread or jump into the site chat — the goal is to keep things simple, fair, and community-driven while letting the product speak for itself.

Liverpool host Newcastle at Anfield on Saturday, Jan 31, 2026 (20:00 GMT) in a big “race for Europe” spot.

Liverpool come in under pressure after a late slip last weekend, and Arne Slot has been pretty blunt that they can’t keep making late-game mistakes—especially with the Reds winless in their last five Premier League matches. The good news: Ibrahima Konaté is back available, and Slot also flagged Mohamed Salah finding form again as a key.

For Newcastle, it’s a chance to pounce if Liverpool start tight. They’ll fancy their chances if they can disrupt Liverpool’s build-up and get runners into the channels—but they’ve got some fitness concerns (notably Joelinton and Tino Livramento out, with Bruno Guimarães a doubt in some previews).

What decides it: Liverpool’s start (and whether they score first), plus whether Newcastle can turn pressure into clear chances without giving Salah transition looks.

Another tricky game for Arne Slot's men. Newcastle won't be an easy opponent to face even while playing at Anfield.
Going for a 1:1 draw. I don't see how Liverpool win here even with their 5:0 win against Qarabag in the champions league.

Why do I have a feeling that Liverpool can have a narrow win here. Following their 5:0 win against Qarabag and also playing at home. The win should give them a boost against Newcastle.

Guess this was completely wrong. Liverpool started like shit, they conceded first, and nobody gave Salah anything.

But they still won as a comeback from mainly Ekitike,,, Wirtz and Ekitike are slowly proving that the old adage of German bred players doing shit in England is wrong,,, good for Liverpool and now today I have to see my beloved Spurs pull something of!

Thumping victory for Sunderland here. Their defense was just too solid for Burnley to get anything from the match. They face City next and I think they can get something out of the match since City are not in a great form now.

Sunderland are really exceeding expectations judging from the fact that they were in the top 4 mix at the start of the season.
