Poverty is a state of lack and not having something ( money, material, property) that is needed at that present point in time. Globally speaking poverty has been a major issues with the united nations general assembly even giving out time frame to end poverty and improve the standard of living of the world population especially in third world countries where the rate of poverty is higher.

Infact I have come to the realization that poverty is the biggest problem that we have in the world right now poverty is what actually makes people to define who we are as a person as it confines us to live a life style that is far below our expectations and potential that are deposited in us.

Yeah, there is no doubt in that, if from inside you have deficiency of knowledge and motivation and you have accepted your nature and life style. Then even if you are given $1 million you will just spend them on you and won't use it to make more money.

Those who are rich I have seen they don't waste money they even don't waste money on things which are necessary instead they have enough resources to do the things in cheaper ways. Thy always comes with cheaper ways like a birthday party. Smart ones don't waste extra money but keep them simple but most of the people fighting with inflation celebrate birthdays by spending a lot of money.

The problem of poverty is still very difficult to overcome and it is much more problematic because it will cause social inequality in community life. In essence, poverty is caused by a lack of employment opportunities, although sometimes laziness is also another factor that makes it difficult for people to escape poverty. The government cannot possibly reach all poor people, but the people themselves must dare to get out of their comfort zone.

Find a job that can generate money consistently because even though the income is small, people will be much more able to compensate. After getting a job, people try to think of ways to save, invest or build a small business as a way to increase income, so that poverty can be overcome slowly by each individual without expecting the government to help them consistently.

This statement is not something new but an old trend since our childhood. There is nothing inside you actually but the statement is just an adage that refers to your inner thoughts. Being rich or poor emanate from your thought that deals with resources management. If you have shallow thinking on how to manage resources, your chances of becoming rich will be very minimal.

What really makes people to become rich? There's no definite answer to that question. Of course, the factors you mentioned like access to resources, education or environment can not be separated from and in fact create avenue to become rich. Above all, nature also plays it part. If you are not destine to be rich, you might have access to all of the above and still be poor.

Exactly, the causes of poverty have both internal and external factors. Internal factors include superstition, which sometimes affects people - the fact that they believe family deities hinder their progress, and this mindset cripples their efforts. People try repeatedly before achieving success, but those with this mindset tend to blame failure on deities after only one or two attempts, rather than redoubling their efforts.

Additionally, some individuals are not naturally hardworking, and other internal factors contribute to poverty. External factors include a country's limiting policies. Some countries prohibit certain businesses or activities, restricting opportunities.

However, I believe anyone can break free from poverty with the right mindset. Even if something doesn't work after three or four attempts, try again. Seek mentorship from those ahead of you and advice to maintain good mental health, as persistence can be challenging.

If you lack positivity, discipline, or consistency in pursuing your goals, it will be difficult. Consistency is key to breaking free from poverty. Address internal limitations before considering external circumstances like war or economic conditions.

As the saying goes, poverty starts in the mind. When you don't envision yourself succeeding in the future, you allow superstition, personal limitations, or perceived curses to hold you back. That's where poverty begins.

The next question is what have they done and what concepts have been implemented so that poverty can be overcome well and evenly. I am not sure the government is able to make poverty disappear completely because it is difficult to eradicate poverty if jobs are not available properly. Some people actually take a different approach and they try anything to make money in a riskier way.

If you don't dare to get out of your comfort zone to make money even though there is a risk in it, then the chances will be very small and if you don't want to make changes individually, it will be difficult to get out of poverty. Countries with higher poverty rates are actually prone to crime because they have difficulty in fulfilling a better life. If you want to see crime and hardship, then come to a country with a higher poverty rate.

There're so many factors that can make one to be poor. First, some people didn't come from a rich home and looking back in the history of their family to see that no body was rich, they themselves will just believe they can not be rich too. That kind of mentality affects some people and they can not be rich if they don't put aside the old history of their background and work towards braking that barrier.

Misusing good opportunity with the hope that there are more better opportunities to come. Some people throw away a golden opportunity chasing after clouds and before they realize themselves, it's too late.

Government empowerment; every society has their leader and the work of a leader is to provide, listen to the people, hear the complaints of the people, guid the people, protect the people, and provide things that are mostly needed by the people. In one example, I will summarize this.  Years back, the local government chairman of my community gave out about 1k Taxi, about 2k motorcycle, and also created a program of free skill acquisition for everyone in the entire community.  Some persons that received the car had a better life years after, same as some persons that received the motorcycle, same as many that attended the free skill acquisition program but so many other persons were still poor years after  because when they got the car and motorcycle, they sold it off and squandered the money.
In conclusion to that, government also need to provide the help that is needed by individuals in the society because it will help a lot.

Spending too much time doing the wrong thing. It can be referred to as wasted effort and a wasted effort doesn't provide any positive result. Some people are doing the wrong thing that can not even help them to escape poverty.

Showing off when you are not yet super rich is another way that can reduce the growth of a person.

Lastly, if you want to be rich, Think it! Believe it! Work hard, work smart towards archiving it!

Speaking to poverty, that will be a major problem in many countries because poverty happens to almost all countries. The government still difficult to solve the poverty problem because when they do something for those people, the number is not reduce but it will increase. It is like a never end solution because every year, the poverty level are increase following with the country situations and conditions.

But when you can say you are grateful with your conditions, you will not thinks about rich or poor. You can accept your condition no matter if you don't have much money like other people. You can enjoy your life without thinks many things. That can prevents your minds to do bad things that can cause your life in problem.

You can see what happen to those poor people around the world. Many of them don't complaint to the situation but they never give up to try every day. What they do every day just to try to have food and drink because that is the primary thing for human. No I don't believe poverty would ever get to an end because we can't be all financially equal and how do we even state a point of poverty? It should be a point where we can't afford our desires and most essential needs.
If you an an average earner amidst wealthy people you're still assumed to be poor because your standard of living comparing to them will be so underated and you too would want to grow in your incomes.
The fact is just that life is full of competition and unfortunately it can't serve everyone fair.
However, we can only improve to better living but that of poverty can't be termed off. Besides the governments would never agree to serve the masses standard and stable economy system. Success is possible when systemic problems are addressed. For example, Thailand, by the simple means of increasing access to education, nutrition, and infrastructure, managed to cut its multidimensional poverty in half within a decade. there's no one that is born to  be poor, you can be born in a poor environment that might place you on a disadvantage in terms of becoming easily rich but if you're ready to put in the work in ensuring that you work your way up, you can always come out of poverty. what the person is probably saying is that if your mentality is that of a poor person, even if you are giving a thousand dollar, the chances of becoming poor will still remain pronounced in you.

I don't understand the double standard the UN is giving to the world, although I so much respect and appreciate some of the core responsibilities of the body in the world. But when it comes to financial prosperity, they, and the advanced countries do not want some lesser countries to be like them. The advice and pressure of the IMF are causing biting poverty and hardship in my country now where many millions have slipped afresh to the poverty index level in 2024 alone. This was orchestrated by the pressure to remove fuel subsidies, which might be partly good but they advised the wrong leadership. Another is the FX policies, the two are now killing the country, no thanks to them.

People's fortunes can't be predictable, nevertheless, some factors are important here which are environment, level of education, natural talent, personal zeal for improvement and development, and adventures/exposure among others. Factors like luck and grace are equally important even as some people may not believe this to be true.

The biggest problem in the world is inflation and not poverty. I know poverty is a problem, and people can't live the life they might desire if they are poor, but if there is no inflation, they can at least eat food twice a day. A poor person earns a minimal wage every day for doing labor around where they live, and with inflation touching the sky, one can't even buy meals or groceries for a day for their family if they aren't earning enough.

General grocery items that a person needs to make foods that shouldn't cost one a lot of money are now too expensive for some people to buy. So, even though poverty is a problem, it's not the biggest problem we have in the world right now. Those who say this are wrong.

The social structure and failed governments cause poverty. Nothing else has ever caused poverty in human life. Look at countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Brunei, Kuwait. These countries are sitting on the world's largest oil reserve but the leaders of these countries have ensured that the benefits are passed down to the population. All of these countries have 0% poverty. Which shows that the government has done the exact job what they are expected to do.

Politics is another big reasons why poverty exists! Poverty is not an individual thing. It's the job of the government to ensure that their citizens get the basic necessities to live their life peacefully. I am talking about becoming ultra rich. Some people start their lives poor, they find it difficult to break away from that poverty even if they dream big. Some people start rich but waste so much that they come to the streets eventually. Don't overrate middle east countries.

There's always poor people in every country, it's more accurate to say there's no poverty stats in their countries because they don't have regulation to classify poor people and they didn't publicize their stats.

But if you search these countries on google, you will find that Brunei has 5% poverty rate, Bahrain has 7.5% etc.

The citizen do get benefits from the oil reserve they have, but it's only for Arabian, if you're white, black or even Asian, they will treat you different.

Being poverty stricken can have many causes. It could be that the person had a really limited or non existent education. It could be that due to disability or other personal circumstances they don’t have a job. Maybe the person has lots of kids & the Father is MIA. There are lots of reasons why people are poor & often it’s through no real fault of their own.
